October 28th-Hello all! Here we are again. I look forward to this contest getting underway and seeing some friendly butting of heads. rofl Some things are changed this time around. We will not be enforcing the A quality bucket rule as it caused too much conflict. (This does not mean you should ignore it!) The fish' dice numbers have been jumbled up as well.

The purpose of this contest is to prove how well you can filter! With a basic rod and 14 F bait (and two backup baits for lost buckets) you will fish (preferably) twice a day for seven consecutive days. A quality buckets will not be enforced this time around but it is still highly recommended.

You will be fishing for a specific fish that will be determined by a roll of a die for each fishing location. The fish will not be generic like "bass" but be a specific like "blue bass". You will need to know beforehand how to distinguish the differences.

It is vital you understand that you cannot junk your way through this contest. You will be deducted points for every junk you do receive. Be prepared to spend time every day fishing.

Rules

1. Entry fee is 2000g to cover the costs of bait, rod, and trading pass in the event of account theft. This will be returned at the end of the contest along with prizes earned. This will be paid prior to the contest starting and sent to this account, The Can Catcher.
2. No buying, selling, trading of anything on the mule account may occur.
3. The fishing spot you sign up for is where you fish at.
4. In the event that a rare is caught it will be transferred to your account.
5. You will have 16 bait. Two of these are backup in case you accidentally loose a bucket. You must fish 14 and ONLY 14 buckets. If you do not fish 14 buckets (252 fish) you are automatically disqualified. There are 7 days (1 week) in which you have to fish 14 buckets.
6. If a random event happens it will be transferred to you.
7. We provide the accounts that you will fish with. Passwords will be sent to participants the night before competition starts. We will change passwords at the end of competition and you are the ONLY one allowed to use our accounts.
8. We will be checking accounts daily during the competition to ensure that all rules are being followed.
9. You may delete and remake your avatar, but do not change gender, name, or password.
10. All junk and fish will be sold to Logan.
11. If you are found in violation of any of these rules you are automatically disqualified and will lose your entry fee.

Notice: In the event that a rare is caught, you are to immediately PM myself, himemiya.anshii, or Devil Winged Angil and NOT put it in the thread. We will discreetly transfer the rare to your main account. After the transfer is complete you are welcome to post about it in the thread. Due to the recent increase in fish theivery this measure is being put into place to ensure that you get your rare. Too many eyes seem to be 'listening in' and we don't want anyone but you getting your fish.

Q: Where do we send the trade?
A: To 'The Can Catcher'. All contest funds are kept there.

Q: What happens to my entry fee?
A: It is held incase of account theft or if the items on the account are sold. It will be returned at the end of the contest.

Q: What happens to the gold the mule account earns?
A: It goes towards buying bait for the next contest. If enough money is earned to pay for the bait then the extra will be put into the prize fund.

Q: Can I enter for multiple lakes?
A: This is discouraged given that the contest is only a week long and the focus of this contest is on filtering. However, it can be done if you convince us you are able to do it.

We will use a 10 sided dice and only roll once for each location at the beginning of the contest. The exception for this is if it lands on a 10 then we will roll again!

This time around I have mixed up the fish some more so a high number doesn't mean a large fish or small number means a small fish. razz

Note: This does not include the sponsored money that's not in the general fund. Like say someone sponsors whoever gets the most spicy tuna for 1k. The 1k is not included in the percentage. It's additional.

We tried to make the distribution more even and gave last place something. If you finish all your buckets, you should get something!

Also we do give ourselves 5% each to pay back (hopefully) what we have spent on this contest.
