=>1. Be Patient. Doll Ears aren't cheap...so please be patient. It might be a week or two before you recieve your ears. Hell, it might be longer. Suck it up.
=>2. Be Courteous. We are all here united for a common purpose - to share our persocom-i-ness with everyone else. So please be kind and patient.
=>3. No Flaming. As I said before, just be nice to people. You can flame the people who are on the blacklist, though. XD
=>4. Mind the ToS. That kind of says it all.
=>5. Donate. It's not required, but you and everyone else will get their ears faster if you donate. Even the smallest bit is appreciated. Please be prompt with confirming the trades, for everyone's sanity's sake. Every time you donate 100 g or more, your name will be moved up one on the list.
=>6. Don't bump. I want you all to Bump with conversation. If there is no one to converse with, you may post random things such as "moo." But don't use that, becuase it's mine. XP
=>7. You must be an at least somewhat active member. If you don't post for more than two weeks I'm going to assume that you've forgotten about us and PM you saying something along the lines of "Ack! Where did you go?!" If I don't receive a response within a week you'll be taken off the Awaiting Ears list. If you have a good reason for not answering I'll put you back on the Awaiting Ears list, simply PM me and I'll put you back on the list. To avoid all of this, if you plan on leaving Gaia for an extended amount of time, let me know with a simple PM. I warn you, though, I can be an obsessive witch and may check your posts to make sure you really are gone and not just lying so you don't have to post for a while. >_<
=>8. No spamming. Please do not spam/advertise your quest thread. That's what your signature is for! This is a charity that gives out doll ears and doll ears alone. If you have a charity you'd like to have advertised here, please PM me and I'll gladly add your name to a post titled 'Links,' which will be added as soon as I actually have some links to post there.
=>9. Don't make me make more rules. If you all stay nice and kind and polite and hopefully literate, then I shouldn't have to make any more rules. Let us all hope this is the case.

+How to Join+

Becoming a member of GPE is simple! Just PM gpe_recruiter with the subject as 'GPE Membership'. Your message can really be anything. If the title is GPE Membership, then you will be put on the members list.

Unfortunately, I am often on many quests, so in order for you all to get your ears, I'm going to need donations. Every time you donate 100 g or more, your name will be moved up one on the list. If you're already at the top, I'm sorry, there's really nothing more I can do for you! If you are, then you're amazing, and we want your gold anyways. XP

If you wish to withdraw your membership, please don't just leave. You must PM gpe_recruiter with the title as 'Quitting GPE'.

And don't just think that you can sign up and then forget about us until one day, wow! You recieve a free pair of Chobits ears in a trade! Uh-uh. It doesn't work that way. You have to post on this board, at least biweekly. I need to know that you not only want ears for yourself, you want others to have them, too.

Also, once you get your ears, don't just leave! That would make us sad. And if you get tired of them, don't just sell them, donate them back! We want as many Gaians as possible to share in the joys of doll ears!

March 24, 2006- GPE will soon be coming under new management. Sorry, guys, I'd just like to devote my time more fully to school and music. But I'll still stop by to visit every once and again. Big congrats to SilverDolphin, who will be taking over for me!

February 15, 2006- Yes, it's been a while since the last update. Happy Valentine's Day, belated. So, a pair of doll ears was donated today and lately we've been getting some pretty awesome donations. puffycheek will soon be getting her ears, and we're less than 1k away from the next pair of ears!

January 14, 2006- First current event of the new year! We have two new members. Things have been going pretty slow lately...

December 26, 2005- GPE now has a new Official King of Spiff and Super Enforcer of Happiness, both of whom are Kakashi1992. He'll just go around being spiffy and enforcing happiness from now on. XD Also, we have removed the statement that you must wear your ears at all times, because it's more like lending than donating, and would might turn people away.

December 20, 2005- Many inactive members taken off the list, and congratulations to midnightshawdows, the fifth recipient of doll ears!

December 3, 2005- More members added, a member previously taken off the list put back on, and Little_Emi, the second person to ever receive ears at GPE, has donated her ears back to us! Congratulations SilverDolphin, the fourth person to receive ears!

November 30, 3005- Sadly I've had to take three names off the Awaiting Ears list because they haven't visited in two weeks. Three weeks, actually, considering it's been a week since I PMed them. But as you can see in the last update, we have plenty of new members to make up for it. ^^ Congratulations to Natsumi_Hinta on being the third person to receive doll ears from +GPE+ V.2! And also thank you to the members that have donated recently. Two donations of 1k and more. Wow!

November 21, 2005- I'm pleased with the amount of new members and happy to announce that our new and first Co-Manager is SilverDolphin! Donations are a tad bit slow coming, WWCD isn't getting much attention, and the official RP thread is like a barren wasteland, but GPE V.2 is still fairly new. I have hope!

November 16, 2005- The Gaia Persocom Exchange has been added to The List of Charities as a charity that donates specific items. Yay! I feel so special! Maybe we'll get some new members now, too! ^_~

November 13, 2005- A new rule has been added. Please, no spamming, guys! I didn't think that this would be an issue (I never saw anyone try to spam in GPE V.1), but apparently it is, and quite frankly I find it annoying and shameless (You have a signature, people! Use it!). Please keep GPE spam free!

November 9, 2005- GPE now has a new owner... Me, br0k3n_cr4y0n5! I didn't want to just delete any of stormchylde's old current events (yes, old current events, hehe), so I quoted the old Current Events page and left it unchanged. Just be aware that some of the old current events may not apply to GPE V.2!

November 1, 2005 - Okay, you can see a converstaion - a fatal conversation, actually - here. PLease read it to figure out my omtives for all this.

Basically, I am handing over the ownership of GPE. My friends (broker and recruiter) will get new accounts and surrender the appropriate GPE accounts to the new owner or friends of the new owner to operate.

The new owner..well, it's probably best if they just amke a new Thread. However, they can press the "quote" on my original group of posts, in order to get the code and stuffs to create their own. It can be "The Gaia persocom Exchange: V-2" or something.

Anywho, the poll for the new owner is up. Have a great day. ^^

October 28, 2005 - Almost Halloween! In the spirit of the season, Look carefully for BounceBlobs around the Thread. Also, you should join the Roleplay...it's going to be really fun, I promise. ^^ And the Art Auction isn't really going anywhere...you think you guys could just come bump the Thread?

Tasslehoff - where are your ears? You do remember that we said, int he rules, that if you stop using your ears, you must return them to the Charity. If you have sold them, just want to let you know that you owe us 5000 gold. Either htat or put them back on.

Finally...I'm sorry about all the delays. I don't really feel like telling you why I haven't been online. But I promise it will be better.

October 16, 2005 - The Art Auction is doing really sucky. All of our artists seem ot have forgotten about it, and no one has visited, let alone bid on anything. PEOPLE! COME ON!!

Also, the donations have slacked off, and we haven't gotten new members in like...years. Okay, weeks. And no one seems to have a passion for the GPE anymore. I guess I'll start giving out free gold.

October 9, 2005 - I have now officially added something to the list of rules. If you ever, ever, ever, EVER send me, the-recruiter, or the-broker a chain letter, you WILL be added to the blacklist and taken OFF of the Awaiting Ears list. NEVER do this. You will be kicked out. No excuses. Period.

I've decided that, to try to bring more attention to GPE, I'm starting an avatar contest! The entrance fee will be 200g. There will be ten places. The prize is 1,500g. All profits will go toward the GPE. The winners will be judged in a poll as soon as there are ten entries, then all entries will be cleared and a new contest will be started.

To enter send a trade to gpe_broker with the title 'Avatar Contest Entrance Fee' and if you have any questions simply PM gpe_recruiter with any questions you may have!

Please note that the avatar you have when you send the trade is the one that will be used. If you change your avatar dramatically in the time between when you enter and when avatars are judged and would like to use that one instead, enter again! I'm sorry, but I will not change any avatars after the image has been posted on this page. Things would get too complicated. Heh. >_<
