The storm was raging, the ship rocking too and fro in the frothing waves. Rain was pelting the vessel, stabbing into the wood and into the crew below like tiny daggers coming from the heavens, and Captain Tyuri was panicking.
She had been sailing for years, though mainly as a hobby, and had seen her share of storms. This one, however, was a threat far worse than the ones she had dealt with before. For an hour, at least, she shouted orders to her crew as she attempted to keep the boat from turning over, and she did a very good job. For a time.
Then everything happened so quickly, she had no time to react. The winds picked up, creating a wave that threatened to overturn her and her crew and send them into the unforgiving sea. And so it did, for Captain Tyuri could do nothing to stop it, no matter how skilled she was.
She awoke hours later, a blinding headache ravaging her skull, which she found to be laying on a rather sharp rock. She also noticed a small fluff ball looking down at her from a few feet above her face.
Tyuri sat up and rubbed the back of her head, and then her eyes, wondering if she was dreaming, but the little creature was still there. Groggily, she stood up, wobbled a bit, but managed to stay upright and follow the creature.
What she saw when the creature stopped amazed Tyuri. The entire forest was full of happily running, jumping, flying and snoozing creatures. Some had wings, some did not. Some walked on all fours and others on two legs and looked almost like a fur-covered human.
Intrigued and stranded in either case, Tyuri spent months studying the creatures, naming them for herself, and the island for her ship. Khalida.
She never found out how exactly they came to be. But there they were, existing. And Tyuri felt blessed to have been the one to discover them.
Months more passed and rescue vessels found her. But she couldn't leave her creatures. She instead imported all she needed to build a home, and a shop. So "Tyuris of Khalida" was born, meant to spread the little creature's love to all who wished it.

Do not steal the art. Stealing art is an infringement on copyright rights and this rule will be enforced. So save us and yourself the trouble by not taking the art and claiming it as your own or anyone else's besides the person who actually drew the art. Editting the art is also against the rules.
Don't PM staff members! Unless it's a pet trade, info for a custom order, or if you were told to PM someone on the staff listing, please don't PM me for any other reason or you will be blacklisted. No one likes junk mail swarming their inboxes.
Do not steal the concept. It's fairly obvious that idea stealing = plagiarizing = illegal! Tyuri's are copyrighted to Kyrianna. She purchased the line-art. So make sure you come up with your own ideas and not steal them from others.
No complaining. Or flaming, if you will. Saying mean and innopropriate things to other people in this thread will result in you being recognized as someone who's eligible to be placed onto the blacklist.
No spamming. If you see your post, everyone else sees it. Don't type the same thing twice. If you need something and one of our staff members missed it, just quote yourself and ask if anyone has gotten to it.
No lying. We are not in second grade anymore so don't think you can get away with lying. Your best bet is to revert away from doing it. (This includes: telling rumors about staff members, giving sob stories about your neighbor's dog, and lying about editting posts in flatsales; I repeat, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EDIT YOUR POSTS IN FLATSALES!!)
No self-advertising/promoting. Or don't advertise any other shop in this thread. You may advertise if you are or want to be an affiliate, though. Affiliates = Love ;D

Tyuris of Khalida
Stage One: [14 Days]
An adorable, sleeping ball of fluff.
Take good care of him/her, as he/she is very fragile and vulnerable in this stage.
Stage Two: [21 Days]
Your little one is still rather lazy, but he/she is a bit more active than before.
Stage Three: [30 Days]
Ah, the adolescent stage; your little boy or girl will be much more active now, scampering about and exploring.
Stage Four: [Forever]
He or she has grown up, and is now ready for a life of their own; perhaps even starting a family.
Of course, that doesn't mean they don't need you anymore!
Fairies are quite mischevious.
They are, like the Angelic Tyuri race, winged, but theirs are smaller and usually prismatic.
They can fly, but not as far as the Angelic Tyuris can.
Seraphim are quiet little Tyuri with four small, feathered wings.
They can fly, but not as well as the Angelic Tyuris.
They are caring, but still have a naughty side.
Angelic Tyuri have beautiful feathered wings and can soar to great distances.
They tend to be much kinder than most Tyuri, always willing to lend a helping paw!
Demonic Tyuri are rather naughty, loving to cause trouble wherever they go.
They've got their own pair of bat-like wings to aid them in flight.
Anthro Tyuri are humanoid creatures, able to walk on two legs and speak as fluently as humans do!

Post the form with the correct information. You may choose only one so make sure you choose wisely.
No editing. Once you choose a number you may not edit it and replace it with a new one. Those that do, will be blacklisted.
Post the number after GO has been posted in Green. If you post before a Tyuri staff member tells you to "GO" it will not be counted.
24 hours is the key. You should have the money needed to purchase a Tyuri if you win a flatsale. If a trade does not come within 24 hours, your Tyuri is up for grabs once more.
You may buy for a friend. You'll give up your chance at attaining one from that specific flatsale.
Send the trade before hand. Send the trade once you have been acknowledged as the winner to Tyuri Khalida.
- Bid only what you have. If you win the auction, you must have the amount you bidded by the end of the auction and send it to Tyuri Khalida.
Be friendly. Make conversation with others in the thread.
Do not intimidate others. Do not say things like, "You better not bid or else I'll outbid you," "I have more than enough money to beat you," or anything of the sort.
No sniping. You can't just show up at the end of the auction and post expecting to win. To prevent this, the auction ends 15 minutes after the last bid if a bid is placed in the area of 15 minutes before the auction's ending time (i.e. if someone bids at 1:55pm and the auction ends at 2:00pm, then the ending time will be extended until 2:10pm, otherwise the auction's ending time will remain the same)
No retracting bids. Once you bid it, you're entitled to keeping it. If you win with that bid, you must send the trade to Tyuri Khalida, otherwise you will be blacklisted.
General Custom Rules:
1. No lineart editing, unless you are paying for a cosplay Tyuri.
2. No naming or designing a Tyuri after a character (Unless you're paying for a cosplay Tyuri)
3. Only Regular, Fairy, Seraphim, and cosplay Tyuri are available for commissioning. Please note that cosplays are made on regular lineart!
4. Do not post the form in this thread; PM the colorist after filling out the below form. If they tell you they cannot do it, they cannot do it!
5. Only PM them if there is an open slot.
6. Send your trade directly after payment, and confirm it after you've recieved your Tyuri.

They keep your Tyuri company and try to make sure they don't get into too much trouble--even the demonic Tyuri!

General Breeding Rules:
1. Your Tyuri do not have to know each other to breed.
2. I don't care how you split the costs between the owners, as long as the full price is paid.

3. Male/male or female/female breedings are allowed.
4. You may only breed two Tyuri at a time, unless under special circumstances.
5. Fill out the form and PM it to Tyuri Khalida. Only PM it if there are open slots!
6. To get an automatic Angel, Demon, Fairy, Seraphim or Anthro kitten, both parents must be of the species origin. If one parent is an angel and one is a regular, you have 1 in 10 chance to get an angel. Same goes for Anthro, Demon, Seraphim and Fairy.

A: A flatsale regular Tyuri is 5k, fairy Tyuri are 9k, seraphim Tyuri are 10k.
Q: OMG! That's too much! Can I reserve one?
A: I'm sorry, but no. There's always the possibility that we will get cheated out of our money, and other deserving customers who have the gold will get cheated out of a pet.
Q: How do I get an anthro/angelic/demonic Tyuri? You never sell them!
A: You're right! Those will only be found in auctions, as they are much rarer than regular and fairy Tyuri.
Q: Can I have a custom?
A: Check the custom section of the post of the colorist you want to do your custom.
If they have a slot open, do as directed in that post and you'll be one step closer to getting your custom Tyuri!
Q: How are Tyuri obtained?
A: Through a flatsale, raffle, auction, pet/art trade, or event.
Q: May I have a Tyuri for free?
A: Unless you were owed a free Tyuri, or you are a close friend of one of the staff members, the answer is no.
Q: But so-and-so got a Tyuri for free!
A: So-and-so is probably a very special person, and deserved it, or perhaps they did a pet/art trade with us.
