Mission Statement

Angels Cry Charity was started with the idea of helping out those who happened along, needing gold for an item. Supposedly, it was going to be a newbie charity, but so far, not many have found us. It has become a random charity. If you happen along and you are nice, you get gold. If you get donations, and end up stricking a conversation, you might just get more later on. If you are lucky, and wierd enough, you might just get adopted and/or recieve whole outfits.... Basically, this is just were i can give gold out to people who are not rude, or impatient.

New Events/Updates:

4/18/07

Alright. Sorry for being such a bum and not being on for a while. I am back on and promise to not slack of in donations. For a while they will be slow until my funds are back up which will hopefully be soon. Right now i am working through the applications in my pm inbox. Ones that are following the rules will get about 600 g. It is small, but the reason is stated above. I will still go by the applications sent to me or by randomly picking people who talk a lot in the charity. If you have been adopted then you will get some money too, but i want to go through the people who filled out the applications first. Oh and if you listed a reason why, your application got deleted. No matter how nice you are about it, it is against the rules. Sorry.

The charity is going to go through a revamping process. This was the start, and it is going to get the much needed color and graphics upgrade soon. Life is still going on, so it may take a couple weeks, but hopefully, the organization, and graphics will look much better once we are done.

As well, we have finally gotten over 50 pages. Especially with Seree bumping for us, we are going to get to 100 pages, hopefully, soon. When we do, we, Havoc and I, are working on a special party/give away thread that is going to go on for an indefinite period of time. It is still under organization, so please feel free to give your opinions on it... This includes any contests you think would be good to have, or any graphics you think would look good/would like to donate... That's all for now, but we will keep you informed as we go along.

Edit: please send all of your aplications and trades to Havoc_Kitten. As she is in charge right now, she has the funds on her account. To give you the donation, she is going to need your information. I know it is a bit odd, but thank you for your cooperation.

I have upped the amount of the bumps you need because of the upped price of the items. They will end up going up more possibly, but fo now they will stay as they are. As more peole go for the bumping, i will edge it up, but it will not go up to fast, so if you are bumping to get the higher items, don't worry. I will be fair.

Angels Cry Charity will now send all of the trades to people so that they will credit the charity instead of me. They don't really look at the top, so they credit it to me instead of the charity. As you can see the similar name...*winks* this may fix that problem and get people to bump the charity more.

Holy cow. i just calculated how much i have givin out in items and gold in the short time i have been open. I may have gottn a few items cheaper in the market place but the store pric is what i usually paid. That just happens to total to: 22.430 g. O_O!!!!

Well, i finally looked at all the people i donated to and it seems that i have helped about about 9 people so far. If my charity gets off the ground, maybe more will come, but for now i am searching the questing pages for random people to donate to. Perhaps if i do it enough, they will spread the word about the charity....*grins*

Alright, here we go. I am putting this in here to make sure that you guys read the posts all the way through. While I hope to be able to help with more expensive items in the future, I cannot at the moment. It will be outlined more in my rules, but here is the general range of what I can give out to you...

Regular items-up to 500 gold
Expensive items-up to 800 gold

Once I get of the ground I will up the amounts. As well I will have periodic contests for things such as free avi art, larger amounts of money, and coupons to my co-creators store(as she wants to give them out). Keep reading on and I wish you luck on your questing.

Money is provided to this charity by me, whenever Rayna is online to distribute it. If she takes a Hiatus from gaia, then so does this charity thread.

I will hold contests and games from time to time, but I do not personally distribute any general charity funds to members.

However, I have opened a guild for this charity. While it is constantly under construction (I'm a perfectionist) it is considered open and running. Please understand, though, that my availability and funds are limited, and I cannot hope to do as much on my own as we once did together. My apologies, but I have only so much to give, and am not as good at hunting down questers to donate to as my sister.

(Just playin with ideas here)

For now, there will be a monthly allowance for this charity of 15k, plus any donations received during that month. During the month, that 15k+ will be distributed as our charitable hostess sees fit. If you truly wish to further your chances of acheiving the goal of your quest, then you'd best prove it. It's not all that hard.

All donators will receive a small banner for their sig or journal stating that he or she donated to this charity. 3nodding It will be made by myself, and thus, distributed by me, but I must first receive confirmation from Rayna that you did, indeed donate.

As of now (Thursday, November 2nd, 2006) Any and all money received by the account Angelic Ward will be saved to purchase a guild for our charity. True, our charity is fairly small, but it gets larger every now and then, and I find it best to start small and work our way up, instead of waiting until we have 50+ dedicated members, and then telling them all to join a guild, when we could have done it at 5 members.

Any donations towards this cause are greatly appreciated, but not expected. We will have a guild sooner or later, but donations will move it along much quicker! 4laugh If you wish to donate to the guild idea, then simply start a trade with Angelic Ward and title it "donation" or "for the guild" or something along those lines, so we know what it's for. 3nodding

NOTE: Applications posted in the charity will not be looked at or excepted. Send the application to Tenshi_Raya06 or Angels Cry Charity. They are the only accounts were your applications will have a chance of being chosen. If you have a question or wish to participate in any of the activities, including the newbie items, then pm me. Do not spam me however as i will block you from all donations and all services of my friends.

Rules:

1.Please do not spam this charity with begging, as beggers will get nothing. If you truly wish for money or items from this charity, follow the procedures.

(Do not tell me why you deserve gold. If you do, your application will be deleted immediately from my inbox and you will not be considered.)

As well, from past history, if you just hang out and be nice, you might get a donation anyway.

2. As well, please do not spam the donators. If they tell me you are spamming them, you will be kicked off the list.

3. Be considerate. I will not penalize you for it, but it is common courtesy to say thank you and be nice.

4. Follow Gaia's TOS.

Procedure:

1. Your account must be two months to a year old. This requiremant may expand later, but that is the cut off right now.

2. You must have a minimum of 200 posts. This is not much to ask from a person's main account, so don't complain.

3. Every month, I will give out a set amount to as many of the applications as i can, hinging on whether or not the follow the rules in their applications. PM me your applications and i will look through them first to choose who gets the donations. However, your application is only good for that month. I will clean out my mailbox at the end of the month, and the only exception is if i cannot get online during that time and i go back to catch up on donations that would have normally been given out. However, If not enough people send me applications, then i will search randomly through quest threads to find them. I also reserve the right to give random nice people donations, whether they ask for it or not, or larger amounts if necessary.

4. To be considered, you need to pm me the following information:

Item you are questing for:
Price of item:
Amount you still need:
Total post you have:
What your favorite animal is:

5. You need to have put in the effort of checking the market place. I will check it for the item you are asking help on, so if you are just going by the store price, and i find something lower....we will have to negotiate something.

6. Post in here a couple times, bumping, chatting, or anything else. Just keep it clean.

Exceptions

You do not need to have a questing thread. It will help me find you later on if we decide to keep you as an adoptee, but it is not necessary. It is hard enough to get one page let alone 7, unless you are bored enough to bump yourself to it, so you just need to show me that you have put in the effort to get the item/gold.

Random Jargon Contest!!!

Ok, i know it sounds wierd, but this is how it goes. You need to post the following items.....

Gaia Name: (for copying/pasting purposes)
Favorite flower: (To make sure you are reading this post)
Random Phrase sad As random as you can get)

Your phrase, or word/words can be pretty much anything that is so random it makes a person look at you like your crazy. However, please make it clean...no cursing. That is just something i am not comfortable with.
Me and my sizzy will go through the entries and, when we find fifty good ones, the entries will be cut off. We will then go through, narrowing it down to ten. The ten will then go up into a post, where the gaian people will pick who has the best random phrase of all time.

oh.....and the prize is 500 g. Small but not terrible for just submitting a random phrase. As well, there is an entry fee of 5 posts in the charity. Once you have bumped five times, you can post you phrase using the form given to enter the contest.

Future Contests:

Bump Contest - planned for spring break.
Poetry Contest - We'll see if it is popular enough.
Avi Art Contest - when the charity gets more popular....

Alright, i know you guys get this stuff when you join, but sometimes you just don't get the color or style that you want, so....here we go.

You can also trade in items you already own for the same item in another color, or to get more bump credits and get a higher priced item.
