Hello gaia! This shop has been going since July 2004. Its come a long ways since me bashing my fingers into the keys and hoping something cool came out... It's also been down for a while, since a co-owner left gaia, and everything kind of went into chaos.
But now, I'd like to get it running, even tentatively. I'm working on growing everyone at least once, getting the information in order, and so finally... We need a new manager.

I do not have time to do it myself, though I do intend to continue doing art. You do, however, have to request my consent to make any major changes to the shop (ie: a new fulltime artist, a new major plot line, etcetc) otherwise it will be primarily up to you. So yes, simply please note the word manager and owner are different.

So what'll you be incharge of exactly?
Making sure owners RP
Managing the RP managers xD telling them who to give growth quests to, etc.
Sending growth information off to me to do art
Coming up with sidestories, and some plots, just not the main plot x: that's already set.
Keeping the main shop tidy
Keeping the guilds tidy
Keeping certs and journals up to date
Rolling breeding chances
and managing contests, auctions and other forms of sales. But not OVERDOING it. (You do this, I will replace you in a heartbeat)

Whew, that's a lot right? So what do you get?
A firm pat on the back and a job well done...
Oh, and 80% of all sales. :3

I'll keep this open for maybe a week or two, no definite deadline. But I will give you a 24 hour notice before I'm going to close it.

One might think the story would start ages ago, when gods and goddesses left the mortal plane, and found their own homes. With the modern era, there was no need... and the highest power of them all, referred to as simply 'God' by most, found no reason to speak directly to those of Gaia.

With this, two parallel worlds were created... The heavens, the earth, and finally the abyss... better known to most as "hell". Many spaces exist between these three worlds, caught between them one could end up in 'purgatory'... but the three are the only true places of existance.

In heaven, angels were set to live... they built great cities with streets of gold in the name of morality and all that is good and pure. Their government is one of law, and peace. Consistently looking out for those of the earth, the pledged their allegiance to God, and carry out his wills for earth.

In the Abyss however, lives the fallen angel... he opposes the Creator, and finds error with his choosing and teachings. From the dawn of time, there has always been temptation... but the one who seized that power is Lucifer. He created existence in an otherwise unlivable world. The abyss can often be described as fire and brimstone-- this is where the demons made their home. Living by the law of strength; those who are strong survive, those who don't perish. To him, the Demons pledged their allegiance. Carrying out his wills as the angels carried out God's. They live for their own lives, take and feed off the misery of the human realm.

Mortals, caught in the middle of this ancient war as these two opposing sides swore to fight one another to the end of time, can only try to live peacefully unaware of these two worlds. Some find faith, some find religion... some do not believe in them at all. And amidst all the other gods and goddesses, it is difficult to see just one... But in contrast, Heaven and the Abyss still know very fondly of Earth, and fight to seize the middle ground between the worlds.

But this...This is all just tale, spoken from mouth to mouth to tell a story of olde.
Our story.... it begins when Barton had been founded, when the Earth was forgetting Gaia's long ago deities. Something happened that never before had been heard of.

A woman who still lived in the forest, refusing to enter Barton town-- despite its increasingly accepting majority, came across the first of the many to come.

Heaven had been met with a dilemma. An angel of theirs had been reverted into a child and was impure... Too much so to stay, yet still... it was against their ways to destroy the child as they would any other fallen angel.

At the same time, in the opposing realm of the Abyss, a young demon had been caught doing deeds unmentionable... Pure, good, and righteous things. Against their beliefs, they decided to simply destroy the youngster. Yet for whatever reasons the child was saved by someone... And sent to earth.

The two were found together, cast aside in the forest for whatever fate may greet them. It was there, the woman found the two... She raised them as her own, watching Barton grow to the city it was now today... Gambino rising to power, the years it took. The trio moved to Barton at this...

Unknown to the family, the two other worlds watched this progress... watched as the Angel and Demon grew and matured... Though no progress seemed to be made, there were benefits to having your kind on earth. These officials chose then, not to destroy their outcasts any longer, but to slip them to earth... The two worlds made an agreement, though it held a secret double sword, neither spoke of it.

The woman who had raised the first into adulthood was approached by representatives of the worlds; requested to take any of their other outcasts. They would be sent to her directly, and either they would be reverted to a child, or send them as they were provided they were young enough.

Given no choice upon hearing the alternative options, she agreed to their contracts. Forced to move deeper into the cities of gaia, she founded an adoption center with what little values she could come up with. The Banir Kinder Adoption Center. Perhaps a little long... but fitting.

With a smile, the doors were opened up; based on pure hope that her fellow gaians would take in these youngsters, and raise them to know the happiness of earth.

Her hopes were correct.

Events are basically free contests of a miscilanious sort, things like RP events or holiday things.

Auctions are where a kinder is set up, and two people bid gold at it until they reach the deadline, or someone auto buys.

Flatsales//
Flatsales consist of either RP flat, meaning you're pit against eachother in a writing contest and the best wins. OR a speed flat, in which first come first serve. Flatsales are allways pretty cheap!

Raffles//
Raffles are probably the cheapest way of obtaining a pet. You simply buy tickets like you would a normal raffle and then at the end a winning number is drawn, who ever has that number wins.

Re-selling//
Re sellings are when an owner has either left or failed to RP at the appropriate rate. If this happens the child will be taken, and if it is desperatly needed for plot (And not a custom) then it will be sold here. These are often free, since the child has allready been paid for.

::General::
1. No stealing
2. None of that stuff they tell you not to do on leave it to beaver. (Cussing, pron, ect)
3. None of that stuff flamers flame you for. (Spamming, cussing uselessly, chatspeak, ectect)
4. No whining. Period. Auto blacklist for anything I find slightly whiney =D If you just lost a flat and You know you're upset, just leave until you're feeling better.
5.We can change the rules whenever we feel like it. It's your job to keep up with this.
6. Do not ask when things will be done. I'll try to give estimates when I have them. :3 If you have a really important reason (Like some other RP that is waiting, you can ask me what you can do about that.)
7. No refunds.
8. No questioning our reasoning =D I do everything I can to be fair, including pulling other opinions from people I trust. If you don't like it, leave.
9. Pay RIGHT AWAY. 3 days of no payment without reason will result in your offer being revoked and you being greylisted
10. There is a limit to 5 kinder until their adult stage, in which they or you can begin new childern stuff.
11. No muling
12. No co-owning except in multiple personality cases. (where one rps one side and the other takes the oposite side.)
13. Break the rules and you are subject to whatever I feel is fit.
14. If you find you don't want your kinder, you can get rid of it and chose bieng greylisted for the next 5 sales.
15. If you decide you're going to leave gaia permenantly you must give up your child, or go on a set haitus in which if you don't return your child is given away blahblahblah. If this is not met and I find out you left gaia, then you will be blacklisted.

::RPing::
1. RP is required.
2. No godmodding, power play, ectect
3. Fighting is okay, but outcomes should be discussed ahead of the RP and okayed by Arafel.
4. Try to be literate or semi-lit. I don't want to see emotes or faces in your RP posts, nor do i want to see "He kicked him." as a whole post. ^_^
5. As far as OOC RP is, it doesn't mean anything.. It's just fun stuff. XD You can get out of character and throw your children around and none of it counts.
6.If you don't RP for 4 months you'll receive one strike. After the first strike your limit is down to 3 months. 2nd strike goes to 2 months, And 3rd strike... Well. As everyone knows, you're out!
7. Be sensitive to other people's weak stomachs. If you're going to go into grand detail about your child's flue and their vomiting make sure you warn people ahead of time. Last thing anyone with a weak stomach wants is to be reading along and BAM. Mental images or some really nastey crud. XD Same goes for OOC
8. You can cease your RP requirements through a set bribe found under the customs post.
9. No RPing your child at an older stage o__o Wait til it's FINISHED or ask me with your reasoning and I'll see about it. OOC is fine, but if i catch you doing this anywhere you will be blacklisted.
10. RP is now allowed in the main thread once again. >> I'm half tempted to make it not allowed for certian people who bitched about it.
11. All RP must be quoted to your journal to count, wether its thread RP, or guild RP. All of it.
12.Adult stage is still not RP required.

::Flatsale::
1. Only one per customer. No posting "I want blah, and if i don't get that i want blah2" Even if you were first post you won't get anything =D
2. We'll try to distrubute flatsales in the early morning nad late at night! To deal with Time zone problems. Key word; TRY
3. If you miss the first you may try for the next IN A DIFFERENT POST. (This excludes RP-flats)
4. You may grab one for your friend, but not your friend and yourself in the same post. You have to chose. (This excludes RP-flats)
5. Check specific posts for what to do if you win, certing posts and whatnot.
6. Check for a hidden message found right above the order form. Sometimes it's in white. :3 So make sure to highlight the area. Sometimes there isn't one, just to confuse you. XD
7. DO NOT EDIT YOU POST. Auto blacklist =D This is cheating.
8. RP flatsale entries must be PMed to the BKAC mule.
9. Do not post until you see the go post, we may not start right on the dot. First person to do this will be blacklisted.
10. Once you send/post that is IT. asking to redo it or somesuch is like editing. o_o

::Auctions::
1. In the event of group auctions you may only bid for one at a time unless otherwise stated.
2. There will allways be antisnipe
3. Items may or may not be accepted, this will be stated at the start of the auction.
4.If you withdraw your bid you will be greylisted for the next 5 sales. There is no blacklist for stating this along with why you're doing it. We realize issues come up and whatnot.
5. Again, do NOT edit your post. If you had a typo, post again saying so.
6. You may not add to others bids. Imagine having 10 people or so bidding against you at once. XD Not fun.
7. If you do want to donate to someone's bid, send the money to them as a donation. Then they can bid it. However this is at your expensnce if they don't give it back if they lose or whatnot. They don't even have to bid it.

::Raffles::
1.Information on how many tickets you have will be posted
2. You may not chose your numbers.
3. You must confirm the trade before the end of the raffle or your tickets will be void.
4. Again. no post editing. =__=
