1. Obey Gaia TOS in all things.
2. NO FLAMING. Flaming or harassing people in this shop is one of the few offenses that will result in immediate blacklisting, because you should know better. This shop promotes a kind and understanding environment, and hate posts, regarding individuals or groups, will not be tolerated. Swearing is permitted so long as it's not aimed at anyone present. For those of you sensitive to swearing, there are filters available through Gaia's account settings.
3. Do NOT PM anyone with your flatsale claim! PMing the mule just to be sociable or to ask a question is fine, we love mail. Your claim must go IN THIS THREAD so other folks can see it to minimize multiple people trying to buy the same unicorn.
4. NO direct linking! Please host your unicorns on your own server. The files on our end may get moved or deleted from the shop's Photobucket; if this occurs it is your responsibility, not ours.
5. Do NOT steal/alter/copy art! Do not infringe on copyright! If you do not understand what is and is not art theft/copyright infringement, please go here:
http://www.whatiscopyright.org. It is a very informative site, and you should find it helpful. Stealing the art makes us VERY cranky, and will get you immediately blacklisted.
6. No Spamming/ Bumping! It makes it hard to follow the thread of conversations and to find uni purchase orders.
7a. Do NOT harass the colorists! If they are available to do customs or breedings, they will say so on the second page in their designated posts. If their post says slots are closed, then the slots are closed. Please do not ask them whether slots are available!
7b. Do NOT beg! We know you like the unicorns and want one very much. Your enthusiasm is appreciated, but please understand: you have just as much chance as anyone else to get one. Therefore, don't complain if you haven't got one, fail to win one, or fail to purchase one. Asking the people running collection contests for more opportunities to "catch" the collection item is also forbidden. (For example, if there is a contest to catch the most butterflies, pestering the person posting the butterflies to post more butterflies is a graylistable or bannable offense.)
8. Do NOT color or edit the regular lineart without permission! Anyone who intends to recolor the unicorn lineart for fun must use a large version of the lineart, located here:

9. All breeding and custom forms for every colorist must be filled out COMPLETELY when they are submitted, and must be submitted PROMPTLY or they don't count! That means when you sign up for a breeding you have to for sure know whether you want twins and who's getting them, who's paying for them, all of that good stuff. When you ask for a custom slot, you need to know exactly what you want. You need to submit your forms promptly; if you take too long getting your form in and your colorist no longer has time to complete your order, they may choose to refund your money and rescind your slot.
10. Graylisting means: You may not gain any new unicorns until you are removed from the graylist. Your graylisting will be announced in the thread so that the other patrons are aware of your change in status. Graylisting occurs due to minor, probably unintentional violations of the above rules. What is and isn't minor, and what is and isn't intentional is up to the staff's sole judgement. Graylisting is removed if and when the staff feels that you have earned their trust once again. If you have been graylisted: consider this a warning. Graylisting will not necessarily occur before blacklisting. If you find yourself suddenly blacklisted, know that you have screwed up badly. Consider it a lesson.
11. Blacklisting means: You may not gain any new unicorns ever. This is a permanent status change. Your blacklisting will be announced in the thread so that the other patrons are aware of your change in status. If you are blacklisted, your unicorns will be removed and redistributed. Your gold will not be refunded. You have been warned! (You may keep any unicorns BOUGHT before January 12, 2006, because this clause was not in the rules prior to then.) Blacklisting occurs due to major, deliberate, or repeated violations of the above rules and for extremely rude, annoying, and hurtful behavior. Again, what is and isn't major, and what is and isn't deliberate is up to the current staff's sole discretion. Blacklisting is permanent and will not be rescinded. If you have been blacklisted: apologies, but you were given ample warning and opportunity to change your ways.
12. This shop reserves the right to add new features, change or remove old ones.
