What happened so far?:
Chapter one:
After Keri brings Faith daughter of Kay who has ran away to the apartment trouble starts. Matt and Jade try the crack the USB stick they found with hidden information about the amulet’s on it and manage to find the possible location of the first one. Both Keri and Jade colour their hair to hide their identity and perhaps to please Carrie a bit.
Jade feels emotionally drained thinking of everything he’s been trough with Jade while Carrie tries to comfort him.
While Matt is working on the USB after Carrie throws a glass of water in his face for smoking Faith offers him a towel and they kind of get together.
Chapter two:
Not long after the apartment is under attack. Matt admits to Faith that the cough is a bit more serious then he told her before and she snaps at him for being a mean jerk(what a surprise) During the attack Matt get’s hurt and after a short while it seems like they’re all done for.
Making a run for it trough the sewers the reach the old hospital where Carrie looks after the injuries of the guys.
When they wake she and Jade have some kind of argument if not fight about Jade not telling her what’s on his mind.
Faith persuades Matt to tell the other about his condition and they head for the bunker.
Chapter three:
Carrie convinces Jade that Matt really needs help. After they spend some time privately Jade has a little gift for Carrie(Rose made a bullet) He decides to play hero and get Matt a doctor. Luckily enough he succeeds(thank god for miracles) and brings back the head surgeon. Unfortunately he does get shot a couple of times on his way out of the bunker. Carrie and the surgeon take care of him after which the surgeon tends to Matt which turns out to be quite a struggle.
Left with no choice Carrie take the surgeon half way back.
Matt and Jade discuss leaving the girls alone to find the amulet that's supposed to be somewhere in the sewers. Matt drugs Jade and leaves by himself. Faith is furious with him,
He encounters Rick in the sewers and after a stupid fight they find the amulet together.
Back in the bunker he doesn't get the warmest welcome when Faith slaps him as a greeting. Rick is welcomed and given food by Carrie.
Chapter four:
When Faith comes close to Matt the amulet he has hidden in his coat starts burning. He throws it away and Faiths, who´s interest in caught by it, picks it up without burning herself, like Matt before.
Carrie takes care of Matt´s injured hand while Rick explains his reason for wanting to help them.
Matt wants to make contact with the rebels but Carrie is a bit sceptical about his idea since they have not even a clue where the other rebels are.
She then asks Faith to heal Matt´s burning injuring since her amulet is fire but Faith panics and refuses.
Matt pushes Faith to try and use the amulet but she states it´s non of his business and walks of.
Meanwhile the surgeon that was kidnapped by Jade earlier reports to one of Kay´s officers. They arrange a search party to sweep the sewers.
Despite the girls protest Matt and Rick slip back into the sewers on worlds most stupid mission. To get to Matt´s place and clean there selves up.
Suddenly Rick hears something. The encounter a group of soldiers which the manage to take out which leaves Rick with the question who is Faith since one of the soldiers had a picture of her with him.
Matt informs him about the fact that she´s Kays daughter and then makes a shocking discovery. The soldiers all carry his family insigne.
As he tries to force the deadly wounded soldier to tell him who there commanding officer is they hear footsteps, which turn to belong to no one less then Matt´s own father.
He bluntly orders Rick to go back to the bunker and leave his father up to him.
Back in the bunker Carrie hears the gunshots but stays calm. She simply starts packing but does wonder how they can leave quickly with Jade still in deep sleep.
Faith however is scared. The amulet is burning around her neck and she wants to take it out and see what it does, but when Carrie starts packing she drops the idea and helps.
Chapter five:
While they ague over how to take Jade with them as they’ll escape Jade wakes up. Suspicious as ever he immediately aims his gun on Rick.
After he convinces Jade he means well and prepares to escape with Carrie and Faith while Jade goes of on a suicide mission to blow up the bunker as well as safe Matt and himself from death.
"Emergency Defense System Armed, Mr. Vasquez. Base to self destruct in 10 minutes." (good cliff hanger no?)
Carrie resists the urge to stand up and refuse Jade’s direct order to go with Rick although she wanted to. Faith does not. She insists on staying and doesn’t move until Carrie kind of drags her of in fear Jade will kill her.
Matt fights a losing battle with his father until Jade interferes and bluntly knocks him out as his idea of ‘Returning the favour’
Chapter six:
After a terrifying run for safety trough the sewers they somehow all manage to the surface without getting blown to bits. Yet all except for Faith are injured down to a point where walking his impossible for the time being.
So they are, suck outside the city, without supplies, without shelter, and absolutely no place to go. Nasty situation? One should think so.
Meanwhile Keri is missing and that worries both Jade and Carrie and Matt ran out on them being all angry and worked up because it seems as though everyone is against him.
Faith drags Rick along as she goes to find him.
Keri finds Matt in a pretty unhealthy situation and more or less safes him from certain death.
That kind of where they all meet back up together.
The head lights of a car come up. To everyones surprise it's Kate. Well isn't that a lucky strike. Though her companion Zach is missing and the headlights of her car are shot by Jade she gives them a ride. Carrie is trilled to see her old friend again
Chapter seven:
It is a damn long way to Loraine especially when you're stuck in a far the small car for the amount of people traveling in it. As they group almost reaches their destination they're followed by desert raiders and are forced to stop the car.
Faiths shows of her amulet power by destroying them. Everyone is amazed how much power the amulets contain.
They continue their journey and enter Loraine where Kay's soldiers await them. As they're under attack Matt disappears and Jade pumps himself with thee different drugs. Everyone is scattered and it is pretty unsure who is where and in what condition.
Matt is brought to some basement where they question him about Faith and the amulets. They want him to steal it for them. At first Matt refuses but they convince through blackmail and a beating.
Meanwhile the fight continues where Jade slaughters soldiers as if they where unarmed. Rick ends up hurt and dragged away from battle field by Carrie who is trying to gather everyone. She succeeds in finding Faith but where the hell is everyone else? Kate is missing and despite the search no one seems to know what happened to her.
The drugs stop working and Jade colapses at the same moment Carrie and Faith are around looking for him. They decide to drag him to the nearest building where they can't do anything but wait until Jade wakes up.
Matt changed into some outfit that will protect him from the amulet and his on his way to the hiding. His mission is to get Faiths amulet.
In the building Faith finds boxes with stuff that must have been up there since the war. Medical supplies over date food and weapons. She´s about to bring them down with help of Rick when they're under attack again.
Matt backs Faith into a corner begging her to give him to amulet. Faith refuses. In the mean time Jade has woken up again. He recognizes Matt for who he is and hits Faith in the head so she blacks out and then stands to face Matt.
Jade isn't himself anymore. He only sees the war and how it used to be at the time and is about to blow the whole place up with a grenade! Carrie desperately tries to get trough to him but won't help.
Faith wakes up and goes inside to find a new drug that would most definitely knock Jade out for a while. Matt punches Jade and sends the grenade flying through the window where it explodes.
Carrie and Faith find a jeep to drive them to the nearest hospital and ask Matt to join them. Faith wants him to choose between her and his family but eventually gives in by giving Matt her amulet. He promises to return it to her and disappears.
Matt is followed by Rick which is a good things since the whole deal turns out to be a set up. Matt busts his way with help of Rick in position of not just Faiths fire amulet but another one as well! Damn....
Chapter eight:
In hospital doctors and other staff members try their best to safe Jade's life while not trying to be bloodied up to much by a very aggressive and dilerious Jade.
Zach is found in the hospitals main hall by Faith where they talk about getting a new apartment and how to handle things. The question where kate is can't be answered by him.
