Kittens
At this stage the cougar is learning more about themselves and their tribe. They will want to explore their lands, whether and adult is with them or not, and they will start to think about what they wish to be trained as. Once the kitten is old enough, there will be a grand ceremony to determine her totem and allow her to advance to the next stage.
All flatsale kittens have stock lineart, though unique lineart kittens can be gotten through breedings and events. You must complete 10 Roleplays during the kitten phase.
Teen
This stage is confusing for most, they develop there skills more, learn what it is to be a cougar and finally make a choice where they stand in there clan.. Huntress or Homemaker, now they must learn the skills to become either one. At this stage they will be more and more in tune with their totem and may start to develop mystical powers associated with it. Once they have completed their training, they will undergo a second ceremony to acknowledge their adult status.
Teens who have grown through roleplay will have unique art. Those who have not will be deferred to stock lineart. You must complete 7 Roleplays during the Teen phase.
Adult
Once your Cougar becomes an adult, they'll stay that way indefinitely, though some mature to cronehood. At this stage your Cougar is a valued member of a tribe, has found a sisterhood of other cats and is either a skilled huntress or talented clan cat.
Cougars cannot advance to this stage of life without RP. All adults will have unique art.
There are no major RP requirements now for growth, but it is still required to achieve ranks, participate in plots, and to breed.
The Six Tribes
Dewclaw
This tribe occupies the deciduous Blashini Forest between Quicktalon and Longtail territory. They are generally good natured and interact peaceably with their neighbors. Their prefferred prey is deer, elk, rabbit, or fox. Their coats are usually shades of orange, red, yellow and tan, with stripes or tabby patterns. They have green, orange, or gold eyes. Cougars with red or blue eyes, mottled, cloudy patterned, or white coats are extremely rare in this tribe.
Quicktalon
Living in the harsh Molrague Mountains makes this one of the toughest and most warlike of the six tribes. Although it was once powerful, the Quicktalon tribe is now quite small due to the high death rate of it's members. They will eat anything they can kill, which includes mice, mountain sheep, and even bear or wolf. They have dull moutain colored coats in shades of grey, blue and brown, with tortoiseshell, tabby, cloudy, and mottled patterns. They usually have red, yellow, or grey eyes. Cougars with stripes, rosettes, red, yellow, orange, or white coats, or green or blue eyes are extremely rare in this tribe.
Faufur
The brightly colored Flowa'sha jungles host the just as brightly colored Faufur tribe. They are known for being peaceful and like to keep to themselves, but don't mistake that for weakness. To an outsider, the jungle can become a deathtrap! They hunt boar, birds, snakes, fish, and a multitude of plant foods that are used to produce many famous jungle dishes. Faufur cougars have brilliant red, green purple or black fur. Rosettes and cloudy rosettes are the most common patterns. They always have beautiful jewel tone eyes in all colors except red or grey. Dull colored or white cougars are extremely rare in this tribe.
Longtail
The Longtail tribe makes it home on the Plaqu'de Grasslands. They are known for being swift runners and chase equally swift prey such as antelope, buffalo, gazelles, and sometimes jackals! Browns, tans, golds, whites are common coat colors, often with mottled, striped, and speckled patterns. They usually have gold, brown, or orange eyes. Cougars with black coats, tabby or cloudy patterns, red eyes, purple eyes, or green eyes are extremely rare in this tribe.

A northern tribe with thick shaggy fur in pale greys and whites. The most noticeable part is their striking blue eyes. Not many of these cougars have been spotted and little is known about them.
???
A western tribe that inhabits the Borig Desert, identifiable by their large pointed ears. Not much is known about them.
