From what I have heard, You can buy and sell GLITCHED Bachelor Caps Legally... Now.... a few months back a bunch of my friends ran into a glitch that gave them a really good boost in gold (Maybe about... an extra 5 per page) But they didn't know what was wrong with it. Neither did I, So I gladly donated $10 to each of their accounts for letters that month (May I think ^^) (Yes I know them IRL)

Well... A week later THEY got banned (I lost $70 in donation items.... Yes I have a Job.)
Needless to say, I was infuriated.. But I got over it. They all got permabanned for Glitching and distributing false/gliched gold.

NOW We have people acessing these "Forbidden URLs" getting Bachelor Caps and selling them. It's Glitching. Why aren't THEY getting banned? Because they know what they're doing? No. Because Gaia is trying to KILL THE ECONOMY. AS of know, I value B. Caps at 5k (I DGS What amount of creds you need.)
I have had so many people offer B. Caps in their offers that I have literally added all known B. Cap owners to my ignorelist.(I now have over 500 on my ignore list.) 3nodding

Why aren't they getting banned? IT is glitching. Glitching items/gold is against the TOS. It is no Fair. I want it FIXED.
Releasing items in real life before their release date is ILLEGAL(Halo 2 =P). It should be on Gaia too

To some extent I agree. It's not the users fault the items were accidentally released early - but people actively wearing, selling or trading those items should be stopped. Perhaps not banned, but stopped at least.
My question is why people would get banned for exploiting glitched gold. It's hardly their fault that the site was giving them extra gold unless there was some specific trick they were using to generate even more gold that would not be accessible through normal use on Gaia.

But it really wasn't My freinds' fault. They all have the same type of computer computer (Alienware Armageddonn 35x with accelerated RAM and a 400GB HardDrive) And It was the internet accelerators they ahd that had ******** the gold income in. They were Newbies and didn't know that that wasn't supposed to happen >.<
But the mods were rutheless... sweatdrop gonk

I've been saying this since I saw them on avatars.

Every user who has one in their inventory should be banned for exploiting a glitch. They deserve it.

However everyone who has an unreleased item in their wishlists should be by that reasoning as well.

(what's with the shameless self promotion in your post. What relevence did it have? No one here cares if you're "Just that nice" )

I agree as well.
Maliciously exploiting glitches should lead to a ban universally not selectively. Unless they wanna go unban all the people that were wrongfully banned for the sake of being fair.

that brings a good point, why do people get banned for gaia's problems? its a big issue that a lot of people are dealing with. even my friend did!!! somone donated 100 gold, not a lot, to her, and then 3 days later she was banned without warning, and now, almost 10 months later, 5 feed back forms filled out, and not reply. anyway, thats a wee bit off topic, but she still got banned for GETTING the glitched gold. *we knew it was this because after she got the trade, she went on a little vaca, and didnt get on the comp, then when she came back, poof!*

I agree they should be banned for exploiting that glitch. It might not be the user's faults for the items being leaked but its their fault for using the items and selling them during and after the gitch. They shoul just keep their damn mouths shut and sell them after they're released but people tend to be stupid. x_X Matter of a fact, they should REPORT the glitch so they won't get in trouble later. >_>

People getting banned for glitched gold is really messed up. The best thing the admins/devs could do is to make the site go back to the time before the glitch happened after fixing the glitch (forgot what its called >_< wink . However, I agree with Kermi that if they're using a trick or something to get more gold then they need to undergo the consequences of said actions.

EDIT: Another thing! What gets to me is that they're ALLOWING incidents such as those people sending those items randomly via the Gift Giving system or trades... to people and getting them banned for something they didn't do. >_<

If only it were that Simple... The admins Said it was OK or whatever, FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD. Alot of people in the exchange are saying it. So I don't wanna get banned for Spamming reports. o.o

I find it stupid that the fake caps arent getting people banned. The admins are allowing the damned things to be kept but are fixing the glitch...Also, the gold increase is a site glitch yet they ban anyone who has the gold...even if you report it! Its happened to 3 of my friends and is getting on my nerves. You should be allowed to keep the gold since it rarely happens...And no one got banned for selling the fake horns either! (I think one guy did though confused )

@Lady_Threnody's post: No...NO ROLLBACKS!!! Let the glitched gold gaian keep his gold! I have made too much gold towards my quest and I would be pissed if I were to find out there was a rollback >.> One Gaian isnt worth all the others

*-thwaps-* xd I meant if it was a glitch that was going on site-wide and there were people taking advantage of it. Then the rollbacks would be best (like they've done before) and those people exploiting the glitch will get banned.
