I think it's ok. Your sexual preferrence doesn't affect your ability to be a good parent. There are plenty of straight people who aren't suitable parents, but they're allowed to have kids.

Quite frankly, gay parents have just as much of a chance as straight parents do of being terribe at raising children. However, the only reservation logic brings to mind is the lack of a constant other-gender role model. I'm not saying this will DEFINATLY have negative repercussions, I'm just saying it could be a problem.

Didn't they do a study on it and found that children of gays have a high chance of turning gay themselves? Not that I have anything against gays but isn't there a higher percentage of STDs amoung them?

There used to be, Elf_Nikko, back in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. But now it seems EVERYONE is forgetting that birth control does not prevent STDs.
There still may be a higher percent in gays, but if there is, it's more than likely a small percent.

I have no problem with gay ppl adopting cause my mom has some gay friends and they just adopted about 3 months ago and they are the best parents ever!! sometimes I joke around and say they can adopt me anytime they want!! lol
