Each character will cost 20k, and there are two characters available in this sale!
Please note that these characters are RP-required. I REPEAT: THESE CHARACTERS ARE RP-REQUIRED. If you do not have the time or dedication to roleplay and at least fulfill the minimum RP requirements of this shop (posted below), please do not try for one. Also note that this shop will be full-literate, which means grammar and spelling do count. If your English is not so hot, please use a spell-checker.
LOTUS requires you to RP at least twice a month, either by yourself in story/journal format or with others. This is elaborated upon in the main thread.
This sale will be an RP-prompt flatsale. You must reply to either of the following two prompts. The only creative restrictions placed upon your responses are: (1) they must actually fit with the prompt, and (2) they must incorporate your LOTUS character.
Please reply either of the following prompts:
PROMPT ONE
As you walk through the jostling, buzzing crowd, you look around at the immense ripples of humanity engulfing you. And then-everything stops as a pair of eyes meets yours.
PROMPT TWO
Your eyes greedily drink in the shimmering, surreal reality surrounding you. It's somewhere you've never been, something you've never seen. It's... amazing.
When submitting your response, please include:
Your name
Character's name
Character's nationality
Which character you are trying out for (either 1 or 2)
Which prompt you are replying to

1. No co-owning. These characters are RP-heavy and I just don't see how it would work with more than one owner.
2. Please post all entries in this thread.
3. Items will be accepted. Please post the items you are thinking of using and Jyoti will tell you if they are accepted.
4. All Gaia and Lotus rules apply.
5. No extensions unless Jyoti says so.
6. Payment plans may be worked out if you do not have enough gold.
7. Do not edit your entries after you submit them.
8. Only one entry per person.
9. You may only choose a country that is not currently in use. This excludes Scotland, Mongolia, Korea, Egypt and Ireland. HOWEVER- due to the fact that I neglected to mention this rule until more than halfway through this particular flatsale, any entries recieved or for the most part completed before Tuesday, August 1 are exempt from this rule.

You know those examples on the front page? Are they the characters being flatsaled or is it only a sample of what the artist can do and the winners will have to describe the appearance a bit?
The examples are just to show what the artist can do. If you win, your character will be completely original. For example, if you chose China, your character would be based around Chinese culture. You may make some suggestions as to what you would like to see in the appearance of your character, but ultimately the artist decides that. You will, however, have complete control over your character's personality, and that will be worked into the character design.
As I answer the prompt, will I be RPing as the character I want?

The prompt response, should it be before you join the LOTUS, as you join the LOTUS, after you join the LOTUS? Or any, doesn't matter?
I don't think it matters. But if you include any LOTUS stuff in your response (such as NPCs or settings), then try not to be contradictory or 'OOC', for lack of a better term.
For the response, it's just... completely random? like, you make up your own character or something?
For the response, you will be replying using the character you want to RP at LOTUS. Meaning you make up your own LOTUS character, and this will be the one that I will draw and that you will use in the shop. Don't worry over little details or anything; you can most definitely change those later if you wish, but your country of origin must be decided and finalized.
