Welcome to Gaia! ::

i saw the movie a month ago, and it was really good, and a tad bit over some peoples head, if they saw it.
I really like this movie I own it. Wish I had the directers cut though.
i've seen it 18 times... and i obviously own it... the quotes are wonderful and the cast is perfect. it can be confusing for new people, but thats the genius of it: that it can be interpreted so differently by so many people... i actually brought it to my summer camp last year and we watched it on a rainy day... v. fun.
What's great about it?

It's just great. The whole movie is pretty dark, and some people really like that.

No one can explain why this film is a great film.
I really love this film, but a lot of people don't get the ending, so..yeah. I'd try to explain it, but I wouldn't be able to do it justice.

Its great because Jakes hawt? do you like that answer? rofl
OH MY GOD!!!

Not to sound like a screaming fan,
but I absolutely LOVED this movie! heart heart heart

I agree the cast is terribly perfect,
they all fit in their roles like a glove!

Jena Malone is a terrific actress, and
is great in everything she does, and
Jake Gyllenhaal should be praised
for his acting skills in this role.

This movie could be confusing for
people that don't know what it
signifies and what it is about,
so I reccommend reading a
review before watching it.

Okay...so I bought it the other night, right?

And I watched it....

And I CRIED! Oh my gods, I cried.

Everyone had always told me I needed to see it, and I always thought it would be even SLIGHTLY comedic...but alas... it was extremely saddening!

I think I'll watch it again soon...
I haven't seen it yet, but my drama teacher's husband is an extra towards the end of the movie (I think he is some guy carrying a streatcher)

I cried too, even though I had no idea what was going on.
I love Donnie Darko. It's up thier as one of my favorite films along with Jacob's Ladder and A Clockwork Orange. I own the director's cut and have watched the film beyond count. The acting is superb, the plot is winding and interesting the film crosses genres and has a lovely pacing till the last scene. I'd recommend it to anyone.
You're dumb.
Question: Why does Frank call Donnie out in the first place if he must die to stop the world from ending?
