Physical Appearance: Please note: Morion's draconic traits are more prominent in his new adolescent form than they were previously.
In his current teen form, Morion is 5'6" tall; his body is wiry and slender, covered in a layer of blue dragon scales. The scales thicken, almost resembling armor, along his wings and especially his tail. Edges of bone jut from his shoulder to his lower forearm, resembling a dragon's spines. His feet are much longer than a normal human's and he has an extra joint near his ankle. Given the thick pads on his soles and the long claws on each digit, wearing shoes would be pointless and painful.
Morion's silver hair is chin-length and he lets it fall wherever it wants, usually pushing it back behind one of his three sets of spiraling horns when it gets in his way. One pair of horns curve down around his face, like ram's horns, while the two other pairs extend from the top of his forehead. The pair closest to his temples are smaller than the others, which curve back a good foot in length. His ears are also sharply pointed.
His eyes are expressive and golden. Morion wears glasses; though his vision isn't
horrible, it's not perfect either.
A golden star marks Morion's skin on the center of his forehead. It is a gift from Hoshi, recently returned to him when he regressed to his teenage form.
Personality: Think "warrior-poet"... this is a very accurate description of Morion. His ability and willingness to fight when needed are fueled by love for his friends, dedication to his allies, and enjoyment of the simple things in life... namely reading, learning, and exploring. Though he's had a rough life as a Fa'e, Morion has not lost his noble bearing. He's slowly growing more determined to find his path in the world... and then, perhaps, he can begin to help
others find
theirs.
His Passion: Morion thrives on the written word, rarely goes a day without writing, and is hardly ever seen without a book tucked under one arm. Histories and legends are akin to food to him, hulking volumes of poetry are his air, and the ballads of olde are his drink.
Outlook on Love: His past relationships haven't exactly been all flowers and sunshine... just ask Purr-Purr, Dawna, or Astaroth. Morion's beginning to realize that he's probably better off NOT looking for any sort of romantic attachment. If it happens in the future, then so be it. ...That said, if Morion DOES fall in love again, he will dedicate himself fully to the object of his affections. Expect to be courted in true Shakespearian style!
General Likes: Collecting books, fiddling with computers or other electronic objects, flying, being outside, the forests, quiet places, thunderstorms, nice clothing, any sort of tea... and of course, intelligent conversation.
General Dislikes: Loud, obnoxious people, being in small spaces, television, doubting himself.
Powers and Abilities:
Flight -- His wings are useful in both forms, humanoid and dragon.
Control Electricity -- As Morion discovered when he was a child, he has the ability to call lightning from the clouds or raw energy from a power source (like a generator or phone poll). He must have access to one or the other for it to work... he can't call lightning in an empty cave, for example.
Dragonform -- Morion can shapeshift into a full dragon, a good 20' tall and 100' long. While in dragonform he retains his abilities of flight and lightning breath, and his claws, teeth, and barbed tail are all dangerous weapons. He can also carry two people on his back. The downsides: on the ground he can't move as swiftly to escape danger, and the shapeshifting requires a lot of physical energy. When he shifts back to his normal, humanoid form, he's likely to be very tired if not outright exhausted.
Weaknesses:
Half-Soul -- Since his split with the doppelgaengar Rionne, Morion is only half-Fa'e. This means that he has less magical energy... but more importantly, it means that he cannot have a Fa'e child or achieve Ancienthood unless a solution to this problem is found. (And the Hells only know what
that might entail!)
Self Doubt -- Past events have lead Morion to constantly doubt himself and his motives, worrying that whatever he does is going to have a negative effect on someone else. Fortunately, he's slowly beginning to recognize this problem and can work to fix it.
Isolation -- At times this bookworm Fa'e becomes so involved with his own private affairs that he doesn't pay attention to the rest of the world around him, and he may alienate others without meaning to at all. Morion needs to work on his social skills a bit. XD
