Daily Chance is a roulette that allows you to get free stuff everyday.
2.What can you get from it?:
According to some guides and the announcement, you can get crappy starter items, small amounts of gold and tokens or even rare donation items or fairy wings!

This feature has no name as far as I know, but I like to call it the Quick Menu.
The icon circled in red:
This is the Announcement icon. When an announcement is made, this icon will pop up on it's own without having to hover over it. So make sure you check it out! It might be important! (Most likely is.)
The icon circled in green:
This is the Quest icon. Click on it to view your quest progress. Ones that you've done, haven't done, or in the progress of!
The icon circled in blue:
This is the Event icon. If this pops up on it's own, look around quick! Maybe a link in glowing in pink! Or a box is floating around! What are you waiting for? LOOK! LOOK!
The icon circled in purple:
This is the Trade icon. Click this to be immediatly brought to the bank. If this pops up on it's own, click it! A trade is waiting for you!
The icon circled in brown:
This is the Friend's List icon. Clicking on this will take you to your Friend's List. If this pops up on it's own, someone has sent you a Friend Request, wanting to be your buddy!
The icon circled in yellow:
This is the Private Messaging Icon. Or PM icon. Clicking this will take you to your inbox. If it pops up on it's own, you've got mail! (Don't sue me).

This is the Dress Up icon, where you can dress your avatar up with the items currently in your inventory. A nice shortcut to dressing up.

This is the Forum icon. It's a nice shortcut to the forums incase you don't want to do all that clicking.
3:
This is the Guild icon. It takes you to the Guild Headquarters.
4:
This is your Thread Subsciption icon. Thread subscription is where you can manage your constantly viewed threads.
5:
This is the Marketplace icon, taking you to Gaia's busy marketplace where you can sell, bid or buy items.
6:
This is the World Map icon, it takes you to the Gaian World map.

To get to the bank, use the two circled items. Either the mini-tab in the Community section or the Quick Menu tab.
1.What's this?:
To trade with other people, you need to buy a trading pass. You start with 400 gold, so you need to earn that extra 100!
2.That's bull! Why?!:
Long, long ago, before they made trading passes, people make tons of extra accounts to earn the 400 gold you start with. This prevents them from abusing it.

To get to the Marketplace, use the Quick Menu icon, or the COMMUNITY mini-tab.
To start selling, click the MY STORE bar.
This should show up. So click the 'HERE' link.
NOTE: YOU CANNOT BUY A VENDING PASS UNLESS YOU OWN A TRADING PASS
Enter your password and TADA!
-----Selling in the Marketplace-----
Step 1: Click the My Store bar.
Step 2: Under your avatar, click Sell Item.
Step 3: Pick the item to sell in the first bar. Then if the item is a game item, enter the quantity you want to sell of it. If you want people to bid on it, choose the amount of time the auction will last. (NOTE: WHEN THE TIME RUNS OUT IN AN AUCTION, THE ITEM WILL GO TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER)
Then set the 'autobuy' or the 'Buy now' price. And if you are planning an auction, set the bid starting price and then finally, the amount of gold someone can increase their bet the LEAST.
-----Tips for Buying in the Marketplace-----
The marketplace ALWAYS HAS ITEMS THAT ARE OVERPRICED. Rarely, I find cheap items. So before you buy...
*Check out the Exchange to see if anyone is selling the wanted item for cheaper.
*Check out several price guides which can be found here
*Finally, you can try making a thread in the Wanted forum to find a cheaper price for the item.

-----Friend's List/Private Messaging-----
To get to your Friend's list use the Quick Menu icon or the COMMUNITY mini-tab.
Let's go over some basics.
1:
This bar just takes you to your current list of friends.
2:
This bar takes you to your ignored list. When someone is on your ignored list, it means you cannot see him/her post, they cannot PM you, etc. Like blocking someone on AIM or MSN.
3:
This bar takes you to a list of people who have sent you friend list requests.
4:
This bar takes you to the list of people who you have sent a friend list request to and they have yet to have responded.
-----How To Add A Buddeh-----
Enter their username in the circled box and send! Easy as pie!
-----Private Messaging-----
To get to you Private Messaging box(Or PM) click on the COMMUNITY mini-tab or the Quick Menu icon.
Inbox:
The inbox is where all your new PM's stay. When you have a new one the Private Messaging icon on the Quick Menu will pop up.
Outbox:
The outbox keeps messages that you have sent to people that have yet to been read.
Sentbox:
After the message you sent has been read, it goes here.
Savebox:
Where messages you save forEVAH go here.
To save a message, at the end of any PM, this should appear on the bottom right side. Click save and TADA!
-----How to Send a Message-----
Click new message..
Enter the person's username, a title and a message.
The bar circled red:
This will allow you to find a user who you can't seem to remember their username.
The bar circled blue:
Clicking this will change the username to 'friends@gaia' and the message will be sent to all the people on your friend's list.

So, before you can indulge in GAIA TOWNS, you need a home to fully appreciate it.
The Housing Commisioning store can be found here in Aekea on the World Map.
Town Permits:
You cannot place your home in Towns without a Town Permit, so after getting a home, get a permit immediatly.
Homes:
These are the three different types of homes. When you first get one it's free, but changing your home costs extra. Picking a home model is completely up to you and your tastes.
Remodel:
Your tastes have changed? Don't like the style? Then change it here for 1000 gold.
Upgrade:
Need more space for the ladies in your home? Upgrade and increase the size of it here for 20000 Gold.
Relocate:
Hate where you have placed your house? Well, here's where to go.
NOTE: YOUR HOME MUST ALREADY BE PLACED IN TOWNS TO BE RELOCATED
Reserve:
Want to live together with your friends? Well reserve a neighborhood for 1000 gold! (Reservations last 24 hours.)
-----Furniture in your Home-----
To get to your Suitcase, which is the item that carries all of your furniture and such, click the MY STUFF mini-tab in MY GAIA.
The click the MY HOME icon.
What's this?:
As I said above, the suitcase carries all your furniture into your home. Kinda like your moving truck. If you want to put items in your home you MUST PUT THEM IN YOUR SUITCASE AND SAVE CHANGES.
How do I open my suitcase?:
Simple. Click on it.
How do I close my suitcase:
Look for the tiny red X icon on the upper right corner.
To move an item into your suitcase, simply click on it and hold. Then drag it over to your suitcase and release. Tada!
What does the lock icon mean?:
You will find this lock icon on clothes that your avatar is wearing and furniture that is already being used in your home. If you take a locked furniture and put it in your inventory, the item will be removed from your home. If you take a locked clothing item from your inventory to your suitcase, it will be removed from your avatar.
After clicking the SAVE CHANGES bar, click the ARRANGE MY HOME bar under your suitcase to start fabulizing your home.

Clicking this will allow you to go into editing mode, which just basically means you can move stuff around in your home and add things and such.
View----
Clicking this will allow you to see how you've arranged your home so far. CLICKING THIS WILL REMOVE THE INVENTORY ICON, THE EYE ICON AND THE TILES ICON.
Tiles----
Clicking this will display your tiles, or rugs. There will always be one default one which comes in 5 different styles.
Save----
Clicking this will just save the changes that you have done to your home.
Inventory----
This displays all the items that are in your suitcase.
Eye Icon----
See that eye right next to the Inventory icon? That makes the items in your room transparent/semi-transparent. Another tool to help you fabulize your home to your content.
Clear Home----
See that red icon wayyyy down below the inventory? This clears your entire home out incase you just don't plain like what it looks like.
Arranging your home is fairly simply. Just click on something in your inventory, hold it, and drag it over. Experimenting with the items is probably the best choice, make your home unique or just cozy. (And maybe enter it in the Housing Arena?)
-----Placing your Home in Towns-----
After launching the Gaia Towns window using the GAMES or WORLD mini-tab...
Click the green FIND A PLACE FOR YOUR HOME tab. Then move around using the compass until numbers appear on the acres.
The number indicate the number of vacanies in the acre.
Let's check out 001238!
This acre has 6 vacancies. But as you can see, by using the key, there are no vacancies.
Why?:
This means all the vancancies are reserved!
This is an entirely different acre. See the green houses? That's a vacanty!
How do I get to the vacany?:
Go to the town bulliten in one of the acres with a vacany, click till a text bubble pops up and click the 'Go to Town' option.

This is the town bulletin. Most people would only change theirs, but it's up to you. Each time you change it, it charges you more gold!
-----Minisection: Saving Things to Your Inventory-----
When your fed up with Towns and just wanna get these items in your inventory, here's how to do so. Click the little bag icon in the bottom right corner.
Click on the robot and then click 'YES' TADA! All done. Simple.
-----Trading Items-----
So, wondering what to do with those trash/bugs/flowers? Well, first, head on down to the Shops.
Flowers can be traded in at the Barton Flower Shoppe.
Bugs can be traded in at the Durem Depot.
Trash(excluding old cans and boots) can be traded in at the Gambino Hat Rack.
How much of each do I need to make an item out of this junk?:
To make hats out of trash you'll need around 50-100 pieces of trash. It depends on what is being made.
To make bouquets out of flowers, you'll need 1 flower to make a single bouquet. 10 flowers to make a normal bouquet and 25 flowers to make a Deluxe Bouquet.
NOTE: A single bouquet costs 100 gold. A normal bouquet costs 1000 gold. A deluxe bouquet costs 2500 gold.
NOTE 2: Sunflowers can only be made into a single bouquet.
To make ink out of bugs you'll need around 50 of a colored-bug. Prices to make these vary from 50-15000 gold.

-----Dressing Up/Inventory-----
To get to your inventory to dress up, the best and quickest way is through the Quick Menu icon.

This is the toggle facing icon. To makes your avatar either face forward, or show it's back to everyone.

This is the toggle stance icon. It makes your avatar stand or sit.

After you finish dressing up your avatar to perfection, click this to save it and show it off!

Don't like what you just added? Remove it using this!

IS THE ENTIRE OUTFIT PISSING YOU OFF? KILL IT >O Using this.
Choose Pose:
To change how your avatar's arms are moved around? Use this. Contains NINE different poses.
Choose Expression:
Wanna smile? Frown? Grin? Laugh? Use this! This option is affected by the 'CHOOSE MOUTH' option.
Choose Mouth:
Want a big/medium/small mouth? Here ya go! The CHOOSE EXPRESSION option is affected by this
-----Dressing Up-----
So just start off using any items you own. I start off by using these items.
One thing you need to remember, due to the layering system being fixed, some layering doesn't work anymore. For example, the Wearing-Pants-While-Wearing a Dress/Skirt layering.
See that? When I put on the pants, the dress disappeared.
-----Organizing Your Inventory/Storage-----
Neat freak? Want to keep some things for safekeeping? Look no further!
To get to your normal viewing-pleasure inventory, use the 'View my items' bar or the MY GAIA mini-tab.
You should see something like this. Click the MY HOME icon.
First get familiar with your storage box. This box can hold any items you'd like to keep for safe keeping. Clicking on this box will open it up.
How you organize your inventory is entirely up to you. I organize mine by color and certain type of clothing.
Just don't forget to click the SAVE CHANGES bar after your done!
