Like any shop, we all have something new that is going on or something that has happened that we want our customers to know. Below is a list of current updates and past updates, whether its events, flatsale planning, new lineart, anything! Make sure to look at this post often because usually, there will be something here. Thanks!


Announcements
February 01, 2007:

As a stated a few days ago, I am making an announcement about growing lengths and role playing.

Though Scampers are not role play required pets, unless stated otherwise, the more you role play the faster your pup will grow.

A Scamper's quickest growing time is 2 weeks, however this can extend based on the amount of time a day you role play. The less time, the longer the weeks.

This can be good if you think about it. I know a lot of you out there would like to role play your pet, but have busy lives outside or inside of Gaia , or both (such as myself). Longer growing times means catching up on lost time when you do have the chance. Role playing enhances bonds and makes life-long friends depending on the age of your Scamper. Then again, there are some people who want their pets adult for certain reasons, which can be arranged in my colorists journal in the guild.

This isn't a punishment for not role playing, just a reminder that I should have put out a while ago XD.

Recent Updates
Wow, it's been a while since I updated everything in here, I feel terrible lol. Well, as of now, Kaoru is currently struggling to pass two of her classes in college, so things have been piling up lately. However, with the closer of the Anniversary Event -which went great- and some holidays coming up, she is hoping to put together a few more events and get this place back on track! You'll find some mass growings on page 272 and 273 from a lot of the past flatsales and breedings. Don't worry, she has not forgotten this place!

On another note -although it's almost been a month now- new colorists have been hired to help me out with the shop! Please welcome Shikai, Corrupt, DHS, Kami, and Mira to the team!

Please remember to follow all of these rules! They are very improtant and if there is failure in doing so, you could be blacklisted, punished, or even have your account banned from Gaia. Read them and remember them, thank you.


The Rules
1. Follow the Gaia TOS

2. No whining or begging for a pet, the only thing you’ll get out of doing that is directions to the door out of here.

3. No flaming my shop, I and the other colorists work hard to create and distribute these pets to customers, flaming the shop and/or our work is unacceptable and rude.

4. ABSOLUTELY NO STEALING THE ARTWORK! I have created the lineart; it belongs to no one but myself. Stealing artwork is a major offense on Gaia and in doing so it can result in your account being banned. If I catch anyone with my work without my permission, you will be permanently put on the blacklist and reported to the mods.

5. Do not bug the colorists about their progress in growing’s, customs, or certing pups. We all have lives outside of Gaia and they will get to you so be patient. If your wolf is way overdue and you think the colorist might have forgotten about your pet, then post the certed wolf in the proper location in the guild. Question the colorist politely about him/her and wait patiently until they get back to you. Failure to follow this rule will result in punishment.

6. No fighting! If you are having a problem with someone about something, please take it to the PMs. If new people come into a shop and find others fighting, I really don’t think they will want to come back. Also, for other people who like to gang up on other, or always have to have an input, try not to do those please. If you are trying to give solutions or stick up for a friend that you know for a fact is on the correct end that is all right. However, I would prefer people work things out in the guild. Fighting shouldn’t take place in this thread.

7. Do not lie to the staff

8. Listen to what Kaoru and the other colorists' say! Their word is law, keep that in mind.

Out far and in the middle of Wolf Lake was an island, Moonlit Island. Some people say that the island itself looks like a wolf’s head, howling to the moon’s reflection that gleams on the lake’s surface. Moonlit Island was fairly large and filled with beautiful forests, smaller lakes, and grasslands. There were beaches around the perimeter and a large valley as you entered. Wolven Village was the only human populated area, consisting barely 75 people. It was a quaint town and the few people that lived there were family to one another and very close to nature. The people were up and outside at the crack of dawn getting ready for the new and sunny day.

A young female of seventeen, with long black hair and eyes as blue as the sky was a villager there. Her name was Kaoru and she always had some sort of connection with animals of the forest, going to her favorite spots everyday and sharing her lunch with the creatures. She had a particular passion for wolves, they trusted her like she was one of their own, a member of their packs almost. She knew Moonlit Island like the back of her hand ever since she was a child.

Kaoru’s day started out as usual and she went for a walk in the forest to greet her animal friends and possibly play with the wolves. She decided to take a different path, not recognizing the trail as she walked along it. She thought about the day ahead and what was yet to come, but her thoughts were interrupted when she started to hear small whimpers coming from a near by bush. Curious, she walked over and knelt down in front of the grass mass, pulling back its branches to find a tiny gray and dark blue bundle, lying in the grass.

Kaoru let out a gasp as she looked closer to the creature, it had the figure and anatomy of her favorite animal, the wolf. However, the little male was gray and...blue? He had strange markings along his upper thigh and head, Kaoru couldn't believe what she had discovered. The girl looked around for any signs of a possible parent, calling to them as she would to her wolf friends. They looked like wolves right? After a while there was no sign of an adult and Kaoru decided to bring the pup back to her village, maybe the elders knew something about them. Besides, if she left him here he would surely die.

As she scooped the little bundle up into her arms, the sound of snapping twigs filled the air and something dashed across her feet. Startled, the 17 year old stood still and continued to observe and listen. A few moments later another, yet larger bundle, came tumbling out of the bushes. The little wolf was pink and green and appeared to be female by the shape of her body and face. Soon after, others followed and they weren't just pups, but adults as well. Kaoru was in awe as she started at the unique colored wolves, all with different markings.

One dark blue and yellow male stepped forward and looked to Kaoru, "Hello there, young one." The wolf was talking to her?! "Do not be frightened, we have been observing you for quite sometime now and watched your interactions with our cousins and the other forest creatures." He must have been talking about her friends she visited each afternoon, the wolves. "We have also seen where you live, you and your villagers are the only ones on this island of your kind, we appreciate how you treat our forests." Kaoru listened to him and wanted so much as to bring them back to her people and let them interact.

"Will you come back with me? To my village? We have never encountered a species such as yourselves, I'm sure they would love to see you." Kaoru asked, still holding the tiny bundle in her arms, who was clinging to her, almost as if he didn't want her to go. The male wolf noticed this, reading her eyes.

"We would be great full to come with you and make friends with your kind, my species have been wondering about your lifestyle for sometime now."

Her and the odd wolves journeyed back to Wolven Village, meeting up with the people, who had the same reaction as Kaoru. Kaoru observed them and noticed that each villager was talking to one wolf. Little did she know these wolves would be with her and her people for the rest of their lives. Acting as guardians for each individual person, life long friends...companions for more than a lifetime.

What are Scampers?
Scampers are what you see in the shop! They are basically another species of wolves, living on a specific island. They come in unique colors and patterns and grow attached to one human being.

How do I get one?
You can get a Scamper through flatsales, auctions, raffles, and special events.

Can I have one right now?
It takes a little more than just asking. Other people want them too so you will have to work just as hard as them.

Can they breed?
Of course! They wouldn't be called a breedable pet for nothing.

Are they Role Play requied?
No, but role play is encouraged. The more active you are in the thread, te more chances you have at receiving something special, or having your Scamper grow faster.

How long does it take for them to grow to the next stage?
If you read through the stages above, each will give an estimated amount of time. However, real life tends to get in the way, so please be paitent!

Can I sell the babies my wolf has?
No! You may give your babies away or keep them, but never sell them!

OMG! Did you draw those wolves?
Yes, I did. I do everything from drawing to coloring and beyond. Remember that these belong to me and taking them without asking will hurt me dearly and get you in a lot of trouble!

Do you do pet trades?
I don't like pet trades, I am very picky with shops, but it doesn't hurt to ask me!

Can I have a job?
You have to have special requirments to be one of the staff. Please do not PM me about employment, I will come to you if I need help. Most likely

I see some wolves in the banners! Can I have my wolf in there? Most likely no. I'm lucky enough I had enough time to make thsoe banners myself, doing them over again wouldn't be fun.

Can I role play my wolf and my avitar together?
Of course! Your Scamper is like a guardian, wherever you go they will most likely follow.

Normal Wolves
Normal Scampers

These wolves are just like any other wolf. They don't have a specific personality or a specific place where they can be found. They travel in packs or alone and get along very well with other wolves. These Scampers are very common throughout Moonlit Island.

Normal Stages Descriptions


Infant: Your scamper has just been born, it cannot see or hear, only smell. They are completely helpless and need their owner's love and attention more than anything to help them grow and develop. The spent their infancy eating and sleeping and sometimes crawling around, or attempting to. Make sure to take special care of your infant, he or she relies on you in this stage.

Baby: Your Scamper has now opened it's eyes and can hear everything going around around him/her. Still a little needy, they will need your love and care until they can do some things on their own. Make sure to watch them closely, they tend to wander more now, finally understanding why they were given paws and legs. So good luck!

Child: Your scamper can now talk fully and understand right from wrong. Their minds are like sponges and all they will ever want to do is wander off and play. They can be taught some lessons in hunting and eat regular meat without it having to be chewed for them xD. They will acquire playmates and life long friends, showing their future rank later on in life. There will be signs of submission and also dominance, but life will still be sweet. Keep them little while it lasts!

Teenager: Uh oh! Your Scamper is now a teenager, ready to be in a pack and falling in love. Some are different than others depending on how you raised them, bu they will always have their mood swings and don't be upset if they don't want to be with you times. They may be your guardian, but they still need their space...this is the time when they demand for it. Teens will most likely be showing off, making bad decisions, and staying out in the woods for hours. They are wolves remember, and usually can take care of themselves by now. Sorry to say, but they aren't you little puppy anymore.

Adult: Finally! Your Scamper has reached it's final stage in life and has made it all the way through with your help. They will forever protect you and stand by your side when needed to. Some will travel off to start or find packs, but remember that they will always come back for you. The bond you and your Scamper share is very strong, it won't ever die. Besides, your on an island and they won't leave it, they will still be in the area. Your Scamper will start to have babies and use everything you taught him or her in their upcoming years. Congratulations! You should be proud!


Angelic Wolves
Angelic Scampers

These Scampers are said to be sacred, or even unreal. The have beautiful wings and sometimes posses a halo around the top of their heads. Their nature is also loving and caring, even through the teenage stage. They can fly and usually make great scouts or guardians for packs. They can usually be found in the mountains if not with their owners

Normal Stages Descriptions


Child: Your angelic Scampers has grown into a child now, young and carefree. Their normally sweet personality makes them cautious however, unlike normal and demonic pups. They are very curious to their surroundings and very eager to learn new things. They attempt to try their new wings, seeing they can fly, but unfortunately in this stage the wings aren't quite ready. Angelic pups are always looking for attention and love to be held and cuddled.

Teen: Unlike most teens, angelic Scampers tend to stay close to their owner when entering the teenage life. They find things a bit too scary and aren't just ready for things that most others are. However, because of their curious nature, they tend to get in a bit of trouble. Angelic teens usually start to fly because their wings are fully grown and strong enough to carry their weight, not all do though. They won't often get mad easily as a teen and rather just continue being the sweet innocent wolves they are.

Adult: Congrats! Your angelic Scamper has made it to it last stage, one in which is very enchanting. Adult angelics are very protective and loyal to the ones they love. They enjoying scouting the lands and being around other Scampers and people. Every angelic Scamper can fly at this stage unless something happed to their wings. Its an amazing sight to see them soaring through the air, checking for danger and finally coming out of their shy shells. Angelic adults usually mate for life because love to them is something more than just a good feeling, its companionship in which they treasure.


Demonic Wolves
Demonic Scampers

These Scampers are feared by many. Though they would never kill a fellow human or wolf, they can still be very dangerous and downright rude. They don't trust anyone except for their owner, and sometimes they are even cautious about that. They have a horrific appearance and use their dragon-like wings to fly as well. They enjoy being on their own, but will sometimes travel in packs, usually ending up with the rank of Omega. Be careful around demonic wolves and don't get in their way!

Familiars
Scampers Familiars

Familiars are the animals on Moonlit Island that roam around and get along quite well with the Scampers. They act as guardians or friends to the wolves and are great company. Familiars can either share a cert with your Scamper or have a cert of their own.

Goose: Geese can be pretty naggy at times and always think they know whats right. They tend to act as the parent figure to the Scamper they love, but can be pretty crazy at times as well. Geese can fly and make great guardians.

Rabbit: Rabbits are timid animals that usually rely on the Scampers for protection. They are, however, a great friend and are always there to listen to what anyone has to say. They are great with pups and can make some pretty good babysitters, putting their fears behind them when they know they have a task to complete. Rabbits are very quick on their feet and in their mind.

Bear: Bears are very protective and can be fierce if needed. They are very wise and are great listeners to the Scampers. They can grow to be almost as big as the wolves, if not bigger. Scampers, however, are much larger than the average wolf.

Looking to get a little Scamper of your own? Always wanted to know how? Well, every so often, aside from flatsales, we will be holding auctions, raffles, and other events for people who are interested. Unlike flatsales, these events usually consist of rare Scampers such as angelic/demonic and cosplays. Check the quotes below and read the rules, links to the thread (there will usually be a separate thread) will be under the selected area, along with past events. Thanks!


Auctions
Auctions in this shop will usually last for a few days, but can go for as long as a week depending on the amount of people involved. Starting prices for Normal Scampers will be 6k, Rares will be 10k, and Cosplays will be 15k. The bid may only increase by 1k, no more and no less. Every bid made close to the ending time has a grace period of 20 minutes.

Auction Rules
1. Do not discourage anyone out of bidding
2. Do not bring a million people into the thread to cheer you on, occasional "Good Luck" posts are alright.
3. Up to 2 people may co-own
4. These are not RP required, but encouraged because of their rarity
5. Keeping fighting to the PMs, if someone wants the same thing as you or outbids you, too bad. There is always a next time.
6. Payment due ASAP.
7. No anonymous bidding
8. When you bid your are entitled to the bid! You MUST pay what you have bid if you end up winning. Saying you cannot pay anymore is a big no-no
9. Do not come in and place a bid just for the heck of it! Or to just raise the price! That is rude and if you end up winning, haha your stuck with it!

Raffles
Raffles are games of luck. The more tickets you buy, the better the chance you have in winning. However, don't spend your life's savings on raffles because depending on the amount of people or limited amount of prizes, chances of winning can be slim. Raffles can last a few days or even up to a week. Tickets will always be 100 gold each unless the wolf(wolves) being auctioned are really special. Tickets are unlimited and you can buy as many as you want.

Raffle Rules
1. Do not discourage anyone out of buying tickets
2. Be positive about everything! Telling someone they have no chance of winning is mean.
3. Now whining, complaining, or flaming the shop/anyone if you do not win. Just say your congrats and continue on with life, it isn't the end of the world.
4. Cuddling, play-stealing, commenting on pets is fine, just don't over due it. People coming in may start to believe the wolf belongs to you and will become discouraged.
5. If you buy tickets for someone else, please post their names!
6. When requesting a ticket(s), please post it in the way I ask. That goes for color, size, boldness, etc.

Events/Games
Events are really special things that take place involving Scampers. There are many fun games that involve prizes, or even art contests. Events usually consist of holidays and the theme is based on what the holiday exactly is. Events and games are a lot of fun and can help you obtain/add a Scamper to your collection of pets!

Flatsales are very common in this shop! I love flatsales and believe in them all the way. Each colorist can make as many wolves as they would like for a flatsale, and post them under their names. So far, I conduct flatsales two different ways as explained below. Please read the rules and the rest of the content before doing anything, thank you.


Flatsale Rules
1. Do not whine if you don't win, there is always a next time.
2. Be kind to the others that won. Do not discourage anyone out of trying
3. Only one per person, per post.
4. You can get one for someone else, but make sure to let us know before the flatsale starts
5. Payment is due ASAP after the sale. If the trade isn't confirmed by the next day, the pet goes up for sale again.
6. Do not edit your posts!!
7. Only 2 people may co-own flatsale pets
8. You can only get one per hour! So if an hour goes by and there are still some left, you may purchase one again >w<


Types of Flatsales
Speed Flatsale: This is when you chose a wolf you like and when I post "GO" in big green letters, you post the form below as quick as possible. If you were the first person to post for that pup, then he/she is yours! You can try more than once, but will not get over one pup. These are very common because I like them.

Role Play Flatsale: I will post a prompt, and everyone must reply within 10 minutes. More information will come soon about these, but they are rare so yeah xD.

Game Flatsale: If I have nothing to do, I might decide to make a game out of a flatsale. It could be Bingo, image hunt, anything creative like that. These too, are also rare.

Custom wolves are basically wolves that you get to pick the designing for. Based on your choices, the price could be high or low. Each colorist will be keeping a journal in the guild where all their custom information will be put. Please read the rules and click on the links below to the colorists' journal you would like to find out more.

1. No begging me and asking when your custom will arrive. It will get here when it gets here.
2. If there is something wrong with your custom please let us know nicely!
3. Rare breeds (angelic/demonic) are not avalible for custom orders unless stated otherwise by the colorist you chose
4. No existing movie/anime/game characters permitted. These are known as cosplays only avalible only though custom auctions or a special event a colorist may have.

Breeding Information
Its that time in your wolf's life where he or she is falling in love and looking for a family. Well the Scampers wouldn't be called a breedable pet if you couldn't breed them! So read through the rules and check out some of the breeders' dens posted below and find out if they are open or not.


General Breeding Rules
1. Puppies may be kept or given away, they cannot be sold! If I or any of the other staff members find out you have sold a puppy, you will be banned from the shop no questions asked!
2. Do not role play the breeding. If you wish to do that, keep it to PMs only!
3. Related wolves can not breed with each other.
4. Normal x normal wolves with have a litter of 2, 3, and if I'm feeling up to it, four pups.
5. Rare and normal wolves will have 2 pups.
6. Rare and rare wolves cannot breed unless won in an auction, event, or raffle.
7. Wolves must be an adult to breed
8. Colorists' have the right to refuse breeding if you are not active in the thread
9. Slots are first come first serve when they are open, unless colorists' decide to make a game out if it.

Did you recently obtain a pup from the shop? Or maybe your Scamper was due for some growing and you don't want to journey into the thread to find/him her. Whatever the case may be, you'll be able to find them here. Most of the time, this post will be used for flatsales, auctions, raffles, and events that just ended. The Good

People on the white list are the good dubies of the shop. They have helped out in some sort of way, bumped up the thread, kept on role playing, or were just really nice to me an other people of Scampers. It isn't hard to get on the White list, and if I'm feeling caught up, some presents might be in store wink

Take note on what they did because you don't want to be on this list. If you are, your experience was probably painful with Rini and DHS. Leave.
