June 21th, 2004 Well I'm back from AN. I had so much fun at Saturday. xd So many pictures that can be used for blackmail later. Buwahahaha.

So many interesting things happened to me there xd So I had a great trip! The only bad thing though is I got the flu somehow crying Damn it.

I will though be starting an auction tonight for one of the guest colorists. And next week sometime I plan on having the flatsale.

The Legend...

As the world was being created the God's became thrilled with what they saw! They all decided they wanted to bless the creatures of the earth so as years came and went their people would have ways to remember them.

The Gods decided to choose 12 animals to represent each year, but with so many different types it became hard to select just a few. Each animal was told to choose one of it’s kind to represent them in a tournament.

As so the choosing began, the fish choosing their fastest swimmer; the birds their highest flyer; the boars selecting their strongest; the reptiles their wisest; the rodents chose their most cunning; the dragons chose their most confident; while the cats continued to disagree they split off into two. The large cats chose their keenest while the small cats chose their tamest; the hares chose their farthest jumper; the canines chose their most loyal. The monkeys, as always, took nothing serious at first but as the deadline came closer they hurried and chose their most obnoxious; the bears their bravest; the horses their wildest; the rams their most punctual; and the oxen their kindest. The Rooster chose their loudest as it had to crowed on top the house, where the gods resided, leading each animal to the palace.

As each animal filled in the gods reviled their plan. A competition to race across their land. The competition would test the animals their skills of intelligence and endurance; compassion and confidence; strength and independence; sociability and resourcefulness, dedication, and sincerity. The first 12 to pass each test would be rewarded to represent each of the 12 years. Some dropped out right then and there! They would not take part in such a long competition!

The rat, being so small, looked up at the cat and sighed sadly. The cat’s height wouldn't help him out. The two of them chatted and came up with a deal. Both would reach each task upon the oxen’s back.

As time went on and test after test was finished, the numbers dwindled till only 13 animals were left.

With the oxen in the lead the cat was sure to win! He was happy that he had helped the rat though thick and thin. The dragon stayed in back to help the hare and snake as the horse trotted ahead... the monkey on its tail. The ram had joined up with the boar and the rooster while the tiger and the dog, who were more than independent, each brought up the end of the competition.

The final task was to cross a raging river and race to the place to claim their rightful place.

So each animal set out across the river. Just barely in the water, the rat went back on his word! He shoved the cat off the ox to swim for himself, of course afraid of water and the distance to far to cross he swam back to the starting bank and sadly asked for help. Though the other animals were too busy and distracted to help. They were trying to get across themselves and passed the cat who was to small to be even noticed.

Once across the river the rat was sneaky and jumped off the oxen and ran ahead to claim first place. Next came the Ox, shaking off the river water from his body as he made his way to the castle to claim second place. After the ox came the tiger, who went to the emperor and told him how difficult it was to cross the river. The rabbit came in next, sitting down right away as it told it’s story to the emperor on how it got across the river by hopping stone to stone. Flying over head and letting out a breath of fire, the dragon managed to claim the fifth place. A galloping sound was heard in the distance as the horse approached, however as it looked down it would notice the snake coiled around it’s leg and rear itself as it let out a cry. The snake took that chance to slither off the horse and claim the sixth place for himself, the horse following in at seventh. Not long after that, the sheep, monkey and rooster came to the shore. These three creatures helped each other to get to shore. The rooster had spotted a raft, and took the other two animals with it. Because of their combined efforts, the Emperor was very pleased and gave the sheep eighth place, the monkey ninth, and the rooster tenth. In eleventh place came the dog, and his explanation for being late. Although he was supposed to be the best swimmer, he had stopped to take a long bath in the fresh water and almost didn't make it to finish line. An oink and squeal would signal the approach of the boar, it taking the final place.

Thus the 12 were selected and the party had begun! The cat had managed to get across on a floating long, though now he was late and very sad. The gods, felt sorry for the cat. They couldn’t give him a year to reign but instead gave to him the same gift as the others. The gift to turn human and watch over a chosen human.

-ABSOLUTELY no stealing or editing the images for other purposes. This will get you blacklisted.
-No fighting. This should be evident but some people need it spelled out for them.
-Absolutely no guilt-tripping. This pertains not only to flat sales but auctions and raffles as well.
-Do not try to discourage others from bidding or participating.
-Do not PM me! Post your questions here. Inbox flooding is rude and uncalled for. I get a PM from you and you're blacklisted.
-Do not send me money if no gems are available. It will be considered as a donation.
-Role playing is strongly encouraged, however is not mandatory. There will be diary links in the RP section.
-Co-owning is allowed, but let me know who the owners will be before I add the cert. That's common sense, I think... ^^;
-You can only own one Zodical for now. I may change that later. Have to give everyone a fair chance at getting one right? Though this rule doesn't include the SE zodicals.

- NEW - Do NOT PM me offering me something from my wish list for a zodical. Unless their minis I'm not going to accept it because it isn't fair to everyone else. You will be grey listed if you do this.

For the moment there will only be two breeding slots per month. I will raffle off the breeding slots for free but the winner will pay 2K - 1K from each.

breeding rules

To get a breeding slot you must do the following:
1 - RP in the thread with your Zodical, or at least be a frequent visitor.
2 - When I say a breed spot is open look here for a link to the raffle thread.
3 - If you win the raffle you pay me. Simple enough.

breeding F.A.Q.

Q. How many gems do they have?
A. Zodicals can only have 1-3 gems. One being the most common and three really rare!
Q. Can a parent and child breed? What about Siblings?
A. There is no breeding of parent and child or siblings. That just won't happen.
Q. Can a rat and a tiger breed?
A. Breeding is allowed between species. Sometimes resulting in abnormalties. For example if the pair has one gem you might get a rat with tiger ears and tail!
Q. What happens to our gems?
A. You can either give them to a friend for free, or keep it for yourself since it's a second generation!

A. Believe it or not... No. I got the idea from a chinese take away calander with the zodiac on it that hangs on my wall near the computer.

A. I'm only going to release a few gems of each. At the moment I was planning on 2 female and 2 male of each. So say 2 female and 1 male of the monkey gem were out. Only the remaining male would be available. That goes for all gems.

Q. OMG I'll give you a bazillion gold for a gem pleeeeeeease?!?!
A. Bribing is a federal offense. Unless you're making an offer I can't refuse, say.. minis? XD In such a case, I think I'd be willing to sweep morals under the rug and take the bribe.

Q. How many are we allowed to own?
A. Only one of each generation. So since only gen. 1 are available.. only one. Yes I realize some people have two. They have two for special reasons.

Q. Do we direct link the images?
A. Yes. This way you can see them grow! =3 AFter that I would like it if you didn't direct link but I won't kill you if you do. You're just eating my bandwith is all. XD
