Welcome to ColourWonderful, a LOTUS colouring contest!

This contest is probably a little different than other colouring contests you have come across. Shee and Wraith, the leaders of the organization LOTUS, don't have any colour references! (GASP.) It's up to you to decide on their official colours!

There are two categories: (1) Shee and (2) Wraith. There will be a winner for each category!

There are two sets of lines- One of Shee and one of Wraith. You must devise a colour scheme and then procede to colour a set of lines. You may choose to colour both, if you wish.

This contest is open to old recruits and new faces alike!

[ rules ]

1. Please make sure you have read over the entire front page of the main LOTUS thread! It's very important that you understand what having a LOTUS character entails and the commitments you are required to make.

2. You may enter as many times as you wish! You can enter once for Wraith, you can enter twice for Shee, or you can enter once for Wraith and twice for Shee.

3. You may make minor edits to the lineart. Please bear in mind the personalities of the characters. What I mean by minor is, for example, editing more flowers into Shee's hair, or making Wraith hold a weapon.

4. These lines are very simple. The reason for this is to allow for more creativity. So feel completely free to add details, patterns and clothing folds!

5. There are a few stipulations as to colour choices that are outlined in the next post. Please take heed!

[ prizes ]

Wraith
Existing recruit i.e. person who already has a LOTUS character - A semi-customized weapon for the stat system OR a CG headshot of your LOTUS character

New face i.e. everyone else - A LOTUS character!

Shee
Existing recruit - Semi-customized armour for the stat system OR a CG headshot of your LOTUS character

New face - A LOTUS character!

There are a few things you should keep in mind while colouring.

For Wraith- His skin is a light brown, like the people of Northern India. His eyes are blue- feel free to make them any shade you wish. He has black hair. He is North Indian, so those types of colours and patterns are appropriate. He is associated with fire.

For Shee- Her skin is a light brown, like the people of Northern India. Her eyes are blue- feel free to make them any shade you wish. She has black hair. She is North Indian, so those types of colours and patterns are appropriate. She is associated with wood.

Please note that the lines are very large for your benefit. I would not like to recieve entries at this size! Please reduce the size to something more manageable, i.e. something that doesn't stretch the page and fits on a 1024x768 monitor without scrolling.

[ entries ]

To enter, please post your name, entry, and a brief writing/RP sample. This sample can be as short as a few lines and as long as about a page. This is required for all entrants who do not already have a LOTUS character! If you do, this requirement is waived.
