I hope you guys like what's going on and enjoy the rest of Halloween. I already have an idea for the first ever Gaia Thanksgiving event!
This was taken from foobarbazquux's journal. Does this mean we're going to see a Thanksgiving event, or does it just sound more like planning to you? It makes me wonder what it'll be like and what the items (if any) will be.
Turkey gizzards!
xd
EDIT: And for those of you saying it wouldn't be possible because Thanksgiving isn't exactly a world-wide holiday, Coyotecom made some good points:

:Um, if you don't like logic bombs, please skip:
Well, everyone is saying that it isn't a worldwide event, well, the thing is it doesn't have to be.
Nowhere does it say that an event has to be completely related to the actual holiday. It could be a Gaia Thanksgiving, with it's own storyline motive.
It doesn't have to have anything to do with pilgrims and such, (although I suddenly see the Zurg influx as thus, without the genocide and rampant diseases)
Besides, they didn't used to celebrate a lot of things in other places. Halloween is a recent addition to Tokyo's celebrations. 3nodding
Easter is also not celebrated everywhere, and in fact on Gaia it had more to do with the pagan holiday that it usurped than with going to church and praying and hearing how we're all going to hell because we're not Jews and not good enough (I payed attention, I was very disappointed to learn that and quit churching soon after).
And last O heard, Christmas was also done differently on Gaia than anywhere else. I've never heard about how the spirit of Halloween killed Santa-in-a-Mech and then was pwned by Ginoman.
It's an event, and a Gaia holiday! They take the names of what they are parodies of! it's convenient that way. 3nodding
This has been a Rant. Brought to you by Coyotecom.
Clearing things up for the feeble minded,
By whatever means necessary.
