November 23, 2006, 3:10pm- I'm going on a hiatus away from this shop for a while. I have things long overdue in other shops BEFORE I started this one and they need to get done. This means the flat sale I had planned won't occur for a long while. As for the AC/KH2 event: that's the FIRST thing I plan on doing when I am done with my hiatus. Nanaki will have a new home when I come back from hiatus as well. So, don't worry about it.

Konseigo are hybrid creatures created within the Dr. Mindsweep's lab. He took the DNA from multiple creatures, splicing certain traits together to create a master creature. His attempts failed many a time, something was missing. After much research, Zeh'ma came up with the reason why each Konseigo would perish shortly after being removed from their test tube. They needed souls...

Zeh'ma pondered this over many nights, wondering how he could possibly capture a soul and contain it until the body was ready to be released. He spoke with his assistant/lover, Sanura about the situation. She explained she knew someone who may be able to help with the situation.

There was legend and rumor of a remnant being who "lived" for her own satisfaction. A cheshire woman with a black and gold box... Her name was Pandora; a creature able to conjur anything and everything out of her box. Zeh'ma saught out the woman and made a deal with her to conjur up medallions able to contain souls that would then transfer into the completed body of a Konseigo. Of course, every bargain has its price...

Pandora demanded Zeh'ma's right eye as payment. He refused to give up his eye, so Pandora settled for switching the eye with another. The insane woman adored the black and violet eye, making the mistake of switching it out for the eye of a powerful demon. With his new eye, Zeh'ma's telepathic powers increased and the demonic power allowed him to summon insects and arachnids of all kinds to do his evil bidding.

It wasn't long before he realized he didn't even need Pandora's help to be able to conjur up the medallions that held unclaimed souls. The insects he could conjur would build the medallions from themselves, special spiders stealing away the souls of people and animals that never made it to their desitnation.

Zeh'ma has his own little black market for these special hybrid creatures with souls of the dead entertwined with them. Though his shop is not public, those who come and seak it will more than likely find it...

A: No, they are not. However, I've decided that if you never show up, I won't grow the pet. And if the pet never grows, I'm adopting it out.

A: Yes, if it's not already made. However, I have to have a cosplay custom bribe slot open. *wink*
Q: I see <so and so> is already made as a cosplay. But there's another version of <so and so>. Can I have that version?
A: Nope! It's still <so and so>! I'm not going to have multiples of the same person running around.
Q: I was questing for one for a long time and someone just got it as a custom! That's not fair!
A: ... Life's not fair... I'm not going to put an idea on reserve for you just because you may have the money for it someday down the road.
Q: Can kits talk?
A: No. They make both canine and feline noises (like their Mysthra counterpart) as well as some dragon/reptilian hissing sounds. Other Konseigo can understand these sounds into sentences. Which means you can have your kit "speak" in italics which means Konseigo can understand them but not humans.
Q: I've been wondering, does that egg-thing on the certs mean anything? The ones that usually appear in the bottom right-hand corner, if at all.
A: Those are soul gems. They represent the Konseigo's soul and are used for breeding. If there is a gem within the cert, that Konseigo is breedable. Without one, you cannot breed. (Usually I give/take them away by activity in the thread.) The gems will fade with each breeding until they've reached their max and can no longer; making the gem completely vanished.

Role playing your Konseigo is not mandetory but it is a plus. Any owners who do not come in at all (or on a semi-regular basis) once they've received their Konseigo will be asked to come in. You will only be asked once then you will be warned that your Konseigo will be taken away. At this point, if we've warned you, your Konseigo is unable to breed; even after your return. If after a certain period of time and you are still abscent, your Konseigo will be adopted out in a free newbie only raffle.

Please respect that each type of Konseigo is able to do special things. All custom or normal conseigo cannot and will not be able to use special powers other than the ones they and all other Konseigo are capable of doing.

God-Modding is forbidden within role playing. The only one person able to God-Mod is Zeh'ma Mindsweep and any Konseigo under his controll. (Not even the Sanura Panthress account will be allowed to God-Mod.) Keep things fair if you have to fight.

Normal- Your normal Konseigo consists of the following parts: Mysthra, Manx Cat (both original pets created by Sanura), Unicorn, Dragon, and Gryphon. With this your Konseigo can do the following things: fly, and heal itself.

Natural- A natural Konseigo has animal patterns and traits. More than likely the soul placed within the natural is a soul of the animal it represents. Naturals have the ability to be able to do what their animal counter-parts can. For example: a cheetah Koneigo can run up to 60 mph for a short period of time.

Cosplay- Cosplay Konseigo are also very rare, but not AS rare as the Elemental. These creatures actually contain the soul of the character they are manipulated to look like. Whatever ability that character had, the Konseigo carries with it.

Elemental- An Elemental Konseigo is one of the rare Konseigo species created by Zeh'ma. These Konseigo have the ability to controll, manipulate, and conjur up the element assigned to them.

Demon- Demon Konseigo are of legend and are more rare than Elemental Konseigo. These are Konseigo that have the gryphon portion of them removed and replaced with demon genetics. Demon Konseigo have the following abilities: fly, heal itself, conseal itself completely in darkness despite the brightness of its pelt.

Seraphim- Seraphim Konseigo are of legend and myth, believed not to exist at all. These Konseigo were actually mutated from original Konseigo, granting them a second pair of wings. Seraphim Konseigo have the following abilities: fly, heal self, heal others, the ability to bring life to that which has whithered.

MerKonseigo- MerKonseigo are probably the rarest species of Konseigo. These Konseigo have had the gryphon portion of them removed and replaced with lionfish DNA. MerKonseigo always have to be in water, though they have the ability to breathe oxygen. MerKonseigo have the following abilities: fast swimmers, heal self, breathe under water.

In comparison with a normal sized human(oid); Konseigo are about the size of a German Shepard dog, or a small wolf.

Medallion- In this stage, all Konseigo are being developed within Zeh'ma's lab. The medallion carries the soul of a person or animal, waiting to murge with its host.
This stage lasts generally around 2 week

Kit- In this stage, the Konseigo baby (known as a kit) begins to develope its personality and discover who it is within its soul. They cannot speak any language, only canine and feline noises (like their Mysthra counter-parts).
This stage lasts generally around 2-4 weeks

Adult- In this stage, your Konseigo has completely developed with full knowledge of its soul. It can now speak the English language and has its own deffinate personality.
It is unknown how long this stage will last

Anthro- This stage is not an automatic given if you are not a frequent visitor. In this stage, your Konseigo is more human-like; able to do more human things. It is a Konseigo's final stage if they make it this far.

To begin... there is no actual MATING occuring within breeding. So, RPing your Konseigo doing so is against Gaia TOS and is... just nasty and not neccessary...

Konseigo "breed" by way of cloning. Which means, two fragments of DNA are taken from each parent and taken to Dr. Mindsweep's lab. The baby is grown in a test tube just like the parents. Unlike their parents, second generation Konseigo have souls "born" from their parents. Which means they do not get the medallion stage. This also means that any pairing of genders is allowed since there is no actual "mating".

Konseigo are very proud creatures, so they will mate for life. This means you need to choose your mates wisely, folks. If you would like multiple oppertunities to breed, make sure you choose an active Konseigo.

Konseigo can only have 3 litters their entire life time. And there is a waiting period of a month before they are "breedable" again. (Got to raise the litter and all.)

A Konseigo can breed after a week after fully maturing (which means a week after they've reached the adult stage); no whoring your Konseigo out the moment they become an adult.

Which brings me to my next point. Do not breed just for the sake of babies. I will refuse breedings if I feel it is just for sutch. So, being active and role playing your pairing Konseigo gives you a better oppertunity. That and role play WILL increase the number of kits you get from a breeding.

A normal Konseigo pair (all non-special Konseigo) can have anywhere from 2-4 kits.
A cosplay pair of Konseigo can only have 2 kits (garaunteed "cosplay" babies).
A Demonic Konseigo pair, a Seraphim Konseigo pair, and an Elemental Konseigo pair can only have 2 kits as well since these are rare types.

Konseigo can breed between the species; however, it is a rare occasion. Depending on the pairing, the cost will be appropriate per parent. If you have a normal breeding with a demon, it'll be 15k total (5k for the normal parent, 10k for the demon parent). You will need to either RP your interspecies couple (meaning I see this and wish to give you a slot) or wait for a very special slot to open if you want to get a breeding spot. Those who catch the spot and have not RPed will have sterile children. So, RP is always a plus.

Interspecies babies will generally inherit the dominant gene from the parents. In which case, it is generally the normal Konseigo which is demominant over the elemental, demon, seraphim, or cosplay. However, there is a rare chance of a kit receiving the recesive genes. This is very rare but the chances are enhanced with RP. (I'm telling you, RP gets you everything in this shop.)

You can breed two of your own Konseigo. However, you can only keep 1 of the kits. If you've been an active role player, you can give the remaining kits to friends. However, if somehow I gave you a slot and you're not really an active role player, I will take the remaning kits and have a role playing contest for the remaining kits.

I am very very selective about what kind of pet I will accept as a fair trade. However, I will almost always accept a pet that is a cosplay of Yazoo or Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Which will garauntee you a cosplay Konseigo. However, if for whatever reason I even refuse a cosplay, don't take it personal. I may ask you to offer it again at a later time; or I may just not want the pet you're offering.

Please make sure you check to see if I am accepting pet trades before you ask about them. I'm generally very good about keeping these kinds of sections up to date.
