Ceryn sat in front of the crackling fire, her legs tucked up against her body, deep in thought. The smoke from the fire drifted lazily upwards, writhing along the cavern roof to a small crack that acted as a natural chimney near the apex and the young cervitaur occasionally watched the patterns it would make. Nearby, Harper also sat. The Amazon was busy carving a design into a piece of wood that she had been working on. Occasionally the human would look up at her eldest charge and give her a warm smile. Her youngest adopted, Aille, was also at the fireside, gazing into it's depths as if she were seeing great wonders in the dancing flames. "Perhaps she is," the dark haired earth priestess thought. "And perhaps she will one day speak to tell them to us."

Outside their cave home twilight had fallen across the forest. There was a definite chill in the air these days, and they often woke to a thin film of ice on the water buckets and to a blanket of frost covering the ground outside. The innermost cavelets where they slept were, while not extremely warm were not extremely cold either. They were in fact well insulated as were quite comfortable to sleep in, especially with the addition of the warm blankets and furs that they had worked on over the summer months. The stout wood and hide cover for the main cave opening meant that the main chamber was also warmer than the air outside, and the trio was quite snug in their home. The brightly woven rugs kept them from the cold stone and sand of the floor as well as cushioned them as they rested in the evenings.

"So, little one, would you like to hear a story?" Ceryn's soft alto broke the silence that had befallen the three. Aille turned her bright eyes on her older sister and nodded happily, obviously wanting to do just that. "Well, come over here then and I will tell you of Santaur Nikolous and the evil troll." The brightly dappled centaur eagerly got up and carefully walked around the fire to snuggle up to Ceryn. Harper got up as well and added some more wood to the fire, sending sparks to fly upwards. Before she sat down she grabbed a woven blanket and covered the hindquarters of both her daughters with it, smiling as Aille wrapped it around her shoulders as well...

This year we are offering 6 different types of Gift Bags. Some of the Gift Bag contents will be random, some of the contents will come with the type of bag you order. Below is a list of what you might find in a gift bag, or click >>HERE<<.

Pigmies - Pygmies are non-growing non-breeding RPable taur. One pigmy will be included in each Gift Bag. The pygmy included in the Basic Gift Bag will be random but with any of the other gift bags the pygmy will be chosen by the buyer. When you recive a Gift Bag we will show you which pygmy you recived in your PM and prompt you to drop by your Gift Bag thread to name it. If you scroll down you'll notice Chiron City is offering 'Invasion before Before Christmas' Pygmies, these are NOT included in the christmas gift bags. They may be purchased for yourself or for friends. Chiron City Pygmies may not interact with regular Cein Isles taur exept in OOC situations.

Chibis - Chibis are non-growing non-breeding non-RPable taur that may be upgraded to real taur once the event is over (on a first come first serve basis). Only one of each type may be upgraded. Chibis will be included with most Gift Bags at random, your bag may or may not contain a chibi.

Trinkets - Trinkets are little filler gifts like the contents of a stocking. Fun little baubles, or plushies. Trinkets will be included in Gift Bags at random.

Taur (Random/Customs) - These taur are regular, growing taur that are fully RPable and breedable. Some of these will be put in random bags and others will be included with the Gift Bag. If you recived a custom you will be prompted for custom information in your gift bag thread!

Guest Shop (Elemental Unicorns / Serendiponie / Luminous Woods) - Pets from these shops are fully RPable and Breedable. These are shops that are not a part of Cein Isles who's owners have agreed to allow Cyn and Syrcaid permision to colour pets for this event! All these pets will be givin out at random.

Other - There will other prizes in there too so watch for them!

Regular gift bag- 5k - This bag contains one random pygmy taur and three other random gifts.

Semi-custom gift bag- 10k - This bag contains one pygmy taur and one chibi taur of your choice and two other random gifts. (Chibis are centaur, cattaur, cervitaur, and foxtaur only.)

Custom gift bag #1- 30k - This bag contains one pigmy taur of your choice as well as one random premade adult taur, and two other random gifts. You may choose to add in the chibi taur of your choice for 2k, but then the bag will only contain one random gift.

Custom gift bag #2- 100k - This bag contains one pygmy taur of your choice as well as one random premade growing taur, and two other random gifts. You may choose to add in the chibi taur of your choice for 2k, but then the bag will only contain one random gift.

Custom gift bag #3- 70k - This bag contains one pygmy taur of your choice as well as one custom adult taur, and two other random gifts. You may choose to add in the chibi taur of your choice for 2k, but then the bag will only contain one random gift.

Custom gift bag #4- 200k - This bag contains one pygmy taur of your choice as well as one custom growing taur, and two other random gifts. You may choose to add in the chibi taur of your choice for 2k, but then the bag will only contain one random gift.

Ordering Form - You may order as many Gift bags as you want in any combination. All Orders should be PMed directly to -Cein-Isles-, and one ordering form must be filled out for each gift bag. Once your gift bag is posted in the guild you may post additional messages or gifts in the thread, but only you and he/she who recived the gift bag may post in the thread!

You may not order gift bags for yourself! If you would like to get yourself a gift scroll down and check out Chiron's 'The Invasion Before Christmas' Post!

If you are receving a 'The Invasion Before Christmas' Pigmy: Sit back and enjoy! Your Pigmy was already chosen and named for you!

If you are receving a gift bag: Follow the link in your PM and post the name of your pigmy in the thread. You will ALWAYS need to post the name of your pigmy. If you have not named your Pigmy by Febuary 1st/07 Syrcaid will name it for you.

If you are receving a custom taur: Follow the the link in your PM and post the name/race and description of your taur in the thread. If you have not named or givin us your taur's information by Febuary 1st/07 we will colour your taur as we please and name it for you.

The Shell Game

In an effort to make gaining rewards from bumping events fair for all we introduce the shell game! Some of you may have seen variations of this game in other threads, so you may already be familiar with it. There will be two variations of the game played. The first is the regular game, this game will run constantly though the entire duration of the event.

Randomize 1-100, everytime any of the numbers, 1, 25, 50, 75, 100, or a number corrosponding to the current page appear the roller wins one Snail Shell. If you roll a number that both corospons to the current page and is one of the regular winning numbers you win double! If the page number goes over 100 the page number will start again at '1' with page '201'. Please check the link at the start of the post to find out what sorts of prizes you can save your shells for.

If you win a shell please make a post >>HERE<< with the page number that your winning post is on! Please be sure to post in red if you won double!

Q: How many Chibis can be made into real taur?
A: One of each type.

Q: How will it be decided who will get their Chibitaur upgraded?
A: It will be on a first come first serve basis.

Q: Can I upgrade multiple Chibitaur?
A: No, each person can only upgrade one Chibitaur. No hogging! If you got a chibi upgraded at Hallowe'en you may upgrade a second chibi at Christmas.

Q: I'm planning on upgrading my Chibitaur but I'd like something changed. How much can I change?
A: Minor Changes only. Please talk with the colourist to decide if your change is a minor change!

Q: Will it cost anything to upgrade my Chibitaur?
A: Yes. Due to the variety of edits that are involved we set pre-decided prices for each Chibitaur. Each is priced differently depending on the complexity of edits involved. Please check prices >>HERE<< ***priceguide not yet set up***

Q: I know Cyn drew the original chibis, does that mean I have to get Cyn to upgrade my taur?
A: No! You may ask either artist to do the upgrade for you!

Q: The Bribe upgrades are expensive! Will you be opening customs soon?
A: Cyn will be trying to open custom slots after the event is over, Syrcaid may as well but I haven’t asked her.

Q: When can I request my upgrade?
A: Cyn will announce in this thread when upgrades will become available. This will happen near the end of the event.
