During one of my usual walks around Gaia, I stumbled onto a very unusual place.
Stumbled is the right word here; a tangle of roots caught my shoelace on purpose, and I fell face-first into… Well, I’m not sure into what. There were strange markings on a tree, I remember, and right as my face would have slammed into the oak’s side, there was a flash of bright blueish light…
When I came to, I found myself sprawled on the marble floor of some strange building! There was no door in and out of this place, but I still had a sense of being in a kind of Entryway… Maybe it was because this alcove bore symbols quite like the one on the tree that attacked me out of nowhere. (Yes, I blame the tree. It was completely malicious!) Not quite knowing how to get home, I decided to look around. Maybe one of these books would hold the key…
Yes, it was a library. No mistake about it. The room was circular, hollow in the center, so that I could see up, up, up, to the skylight above. Sunshine streamed in and illuminated Five Floors full of shelves, all of them heavy with books and tomes of all sizes and age.
As I wandered the aisles, I quickly noticed that, once in a while, there would be another Alcove in the far wall, where odd, rune-engraved books would float under a glass case. As I approached one of them, it started to glow. I took another step, and the glass casing burst into a million diamond-fine shards! The book floated towards me slowly, and there it waited for something…
Without thinking (Which is often my case), I grabbed the tome. It was rather large, and locked… But a soft light came out of the keyhole as I ran a finger over it, and a soft snick could be heard within… It was unlocked! I opened it, and didn’t understand much of the strange writing… Only one part was legible, and that one made me sigh with relief.
Only by holding one of these Spiritual Grimorums can a person come and go from the Library of Souls.
I ran to the Entryway, and as I suspected, a flash of blueish light propelled me back to Gaia, the book still in my arms. I noted well where the tree was (even though it was a malicious and evil thing that tried to kill me), because I would need to go back to the Library: after all, how ELSE would I decipher this new Discovery of mine?

The doors to the Library of Souls can be anywhere: a rock wall, under a toilet, anything! But the only thing they all have in common is a set of engraved runes which flash when the door is "opened".
Only people who own a Grimorum may come and go from the Library. If someone who isn’t a Keeper wants to play, you may meet up with someone when they’re out of the stange book-filled room, or you may stumble into the Library and be stuck there! This second will not be an easy life though, seeing as the only thing to eat in that place is Paper…
