Hello and welcome to Affinity Designs! It's owned by me, myself, and I: Rhodanthe. Formerly called DGD (Damaged Goods Designs), here you can order custom graphics made by me! Make sure you read all the rules and procedures before you order or you'll make me very angry!

/updates;
June 27th, 2007 Added a 'Comments' section so that I can add up some of my customers' comments for future customers to see (and because when my customers are happy, I am happy!) ^_^
June 14th, 2007 Renamed from DGD to Affinity ^_^ I had planned to do this, I got really bored of the other name -_-;

Here are a few examples of my work. All of these are custom made. Because of this, you may request your graphic look similar to one example, but in no way can it be identical. My favorite 3 examples for each graphic size are underlined.

The watermarks I put on your graphic will depend on how big it is and what's on it. It won't be big and bold, though. It will be rather small and faded in, but still viewable and readable. It may say: 'Rhodanthe,' 'Rho,' or 'Rh.'

/effects;
Here are some things that I can add to your graphics to spice it up and make it pretty! This is not a complete list! You may ask in a PM (or post, but I might not see it) if I can do an effect that is not listed. These are just a few examples to give you ideas or help you decide on what you want. You can have as many effects as you'd like, but only ONE animation if you request it! But don't just pick everything just because you can- it'll probably end up looking weird. If you decide to order, please read all the procedures on the ordering post. (PLEASE NOTE: The effect examples below were made by me for the sole purpose of providing examples. If you see them floating around anywhere else but this thread, THEY ARE STOLEN! Please report anyone who steals the examples below to me by PM)

Here are some miscellaneous services that I offer. They'll change from time to time as I add or take away things. I'll do many graphic based things, so feel free to ask if you want something ^_^.

/profiles;

Not in the mood to make profiles right now unless you offer a lot 8D.

/design a thread;

Do you lack the time or skills to make a beautiful, organized thread? Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone would make a thread for you? Well, I will! I'll format everything, organize everything, and make you as many banners and buttons as you like (within reason, of course). The price would depend on what you want, how much you want, and how long it would take me. If you'd like an example, I would say that a thread that asked for 10 posts with a main banner and then a banner for the top and bottom of each post with 2 88x31 buttons would be 5k+. The typical rules to graphic design still apply (no copyrighted images, appropraiteness, etc). PM me for more information or to set up a deal ^_^.

/mini avi art;

I can't draw super elaborate stuff, but I like to draw faces ^_^. I'll post some examples soon D:.

Read this entire post if you plan on ordering a graphic! Without a bribe please anticipate your graphic being done within a week (depending on how many people are on the waiting list).

I'll let a little, unintentional mistake slide, but if you fail miserably at any of my rules, you'll earn a spot on my ignore list. I don't mean to sound rude, but I am really tired of people who think it's okay to PM me to ask for a 800x600 'banner' with a bunch of Naruto pictures on it. If you can't spend two minutes reading how I would prefer you to order from me (and it's pretty simple and straightforward, in my honest opinion), then why should I spend 30 minutes, 1 hour, or more on a graphic for you? Treat me with respect and I'll do the same for you. Thank you very much.

/ordering steps;
step #0 don't mind the waiting list, you'll be added no matter how many people are on there (in other words, there is no limit to how many people may order from me)
step #1 DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TRYING TO PM ME YOUR ORDER FORM WTF D:
step #2 no trademarked images may be used, click here if you don't understand; this applies to ALL graphics shops, not just mine
step #3 if you want a stock image on your banner, you find it! You know what kind of image you want and I can only guess. Ask the chatterbox or something if you need help finding an image.
step #4 completely fill out all required fields on an ordering form below (be as specific as possible so I can make what you want) and post it, baby!
step #5 immediately after posting it, send me a trade (with the correct amount of gold for your graphic) that has the correct title (see the box above)
step #6 wait for me to send the trade back
step #7 send the trade back twice so that your bubble says "OK!" and I am the one who will complete it
step #8 wait for me to finish your graphic- I will PM it to you when it's done!

What is a bribe?

Q: I want my graphic done ASAP. Can I bribe you?
Sure (make sure I'm online if you want your order done right away, though)! Here is how it works:
- You offer a bribe while no one else on the waiting list has a bribe and you are moved up to the top of the waiting list. Your slot is labelled as a 'bribe slot' so that the others on the waiting list know
- If you bribe less than a bribe slot already on the waiting list, you are not moved up to the top
- If you bribe more than a bribe slot already on the waiting list, you are placed above that slot
- If you use a bribe but there is no one on the waiting list, then I will get your graphic done ASAP
- If all the slots are full and you offer a bribe, I will add an extra slot for you in the appropriate place

Q: Does a bribe count as a donation on your quest?
No, sorry. A bribe is different from a tip. You may bribe and tip, if you'd like <3.

Q: How much does a bribe have to be?
At least +50% of what your graphic is worth. So if you ordered a large banner, which is 800g, you would pay me at least 1200g (800g+400g).

Q: How do I tip?
You can send a tip with your order or after you receive your graphic ^_^. If you are sending it afterwards, please label it Tip ^_^. It will still be received as a donation regardless, but it's just easier for me to recognize.

Q: OH NO! I forgot to label my trade with the page number by order is on!! Do I still get my graphic? I paid the right amount!
Yes, you still get your graphic because it is against the rules for anyone to not accept an order regardless of if your trade was labelled properly. If I accidentally recorded it as a donation instead of an order, please PM me to clarify the situation!

Payment

Q: What can I pay in?
Gold
Items (please ask in a post first before you order)
Tickets (1 ticket = 2 gold)
Tires (1 tire = 1 gold)
Cans (1 can = 2 gold)
Crumpled Paper Bag (1 bag = 1 gold)
Inks (red, blue, green = 50 gold)
Inks (Yellow, Black, Brown = 25 gold)

Q: What are some things you don't want to be paid in?
Generally, if you are going to give me 5-12 items to pay for your graphic (unless I listed them under the 'what can I pay with question'... I wouldn't mind a rainbow trade of inks that are worth 800g 8D), I really don't want to deal with it. PLEASE vend all cheapy items away to churn them into gold- then use that gold to pay for your graphic!

Q: If I am buying multiple things at once, do I have to send a trade for each graphic?
Nope. Just cram your payments into one trade.
