Greetings!
Welcome to CBK's (or Cherry Blossem Kisses) Art Contest!

*So why are we hosting CBK's art Contest?
We are hosting this contest to get some artwork done of some of our favorite roleplaying characters. This will be done in three seperate group contests; Changeling, Ever Quest, and Vampire the Masquerade.

* What do we want you to do?
We would like you to draw one or more of the characters described below in the listed categories. For example you may want to draw Wesley (from the Changeling contest). Well you can draw him normal or fae and in a group or by himself.
Or if you're not an artist stick around and bump for our prizes, and play our number generating game to win stuff!

*Are there prizes?
As sure as your Aunt Fanny is your Uncle! We have prizes for group pictures, prizes for couples, and seperate prizes for singles! Prizes for bumping! Prizes for playing our number game! Prizes are listed by the categories they are assinged to.
Hang out, chat, play games, but most importantly draw us a picture!
Looking for samples of EverQuest art to get a feel for it, then look no further. The lovely Lochnivar is allowing us to show her art as samples to help inspire you, please do not attempt to copy or steal her art!

Ah yes, we all need these. Here you will find the duration of the contest, as well as a few rules we have set aside.

1. There MUST be a minimum of 5 entries by different artists for each catagory and a minimum of 35 total entires for prizes to be given out.

2. You MUST submit a WIP (work-in-progress) picture before you submit your finished picture, and the WIP and the finished piece must look similar. For those of you who do not understand what a WIP is, it means that before you're done with your picture, perhaps when it's just sketched, you scan/host it and send it. Later you send the finished picture. This is to make sure no one is stealing art and claiming it as their own.

3. All pictures MUST be at least waist up.

4. No Dolls. No exceptions.

5. You can submit as many pictures as you want in any category, but you can't win more than once in each category.

6. WIP's do NOT count as an entry.

7. PM entires to CBK_Auction. Do NOT submit entires in this thread.

8. No art stealing. Also all art has to be 100% yours! (in other words no submiting other peoples work)

9. Prizes may be upgraded, but will NOT be downgraded.

10. Number your bumps for the bumper contest.

11. Please read full descriptions of characters. There are details that must appear in the pictures. Things the always have with them, or ways they behave. We judge not only based on how pretty a picture is, but how well you followed the character's descrip and personality information.

07/05/07 - Alright big lazies, you've asked for a few more days to finish.. and we liked your wips so we agree. You're being given a three day extension. After that you can't win any prizes, so don't delay!
05/24/07 EverQuest group is all four girls. There appears to be some confusion about that, so for all to know it is all four.
Also in new and exciting news a very good friend of Nie and Myn's has donated 50 k in gold and May 07 to go into the best group prize! Get your group entries in!
03/22/07 We've had some questions about what we might like to see for group pics. Battle scenes, scenes at the local taverns, resting off the beaten path, attending a fancy party, all of these are ideas we'd love to see. Have fun with your picture, and if you have questions, just ask!
03/05/07 - Everquest Page Created!

03/04/07 EverQuest group is up next! It will start March 15 and run til July fourth, with wips due on june 30th. The characters for Everquest are Belladonna, Cecille, Fera'kayle, and Marika. There are single and group prizes available.

Belladonna and Cecille

Belladonna:
*Name: Belladonna
*Age: appears as a teen
*Race: Wood elf
*Complexion- tanned
*Height: 5'0
*Build: Thin and wiry, small busted. Nice toned arms and tummy. Not busty.
*Weight: 105
*Eyes: Shockingly yellow
*Hair: Waist length unruly auburn hair. Tumbles in waves. The front is pulled back using thin leather cords. Attached to one cord is a large long white feather. Sometimes she wears it in a loose bun, she always wears the large feather. The feather should be shown to the right side of her hair.
*Class: Rogue

*Attire for Battle- Belladonna wears tight buckled purple leather in battle (so dark purple it is almost black). It is in two pieces tight pants, with laces at the thighs and a strapless bustier type top, with tight lacing onthe front. She wears long black leather gloves that go up past her elbows to her upper arms and open wide at the end. She wears black knee high boots that are laced around with a thick cord to keep them on. And wears a dagger strapped to her right calf. (See ref pic for image of her dagger)
*Attire Formal- Belladonna likes to wear fancy yellow dresses to match her eyes. They show off her shoulders and back, as Belladonna likes to reveal a little flesh. she wears soft soled dancing slippers with them. She also likes to wear masks, fans, extravagant but unique jewelry with them, and sometimes sheer veils.
She also likes to wear flowers in her hair.
*Jewelry- Belladonna wears her unique jewelry during battle, and often when formally dressed. In her left ear she wears a bone earring, that looks like the finger tip of a dragon. She wears a thin black velvet choker. She wears two rings on each hand. One is a large red glowy stone with a gold band, one is a thin silver band with a small purple stone. One is deep blue with a band that looks woven of wood, and one is a yellow star shaped stone with a platinum band. She wears a bracelet made of different textured stones (Rocks), she always wears this.
*Weapons- She has a shiny silver rapier . And a wicked looking glyphed purple hued dagger with a black metal hilt. (View her ref for how her dagger should look) dagger. She fights with both at once. Rapier in the left hand (she's left handed) dagger in the right. When not in combat the rapier hangs in a elegant sheath with leaf pattern at her hip, and the dagger rests at her right calf.

---- (Personality)*Personality- Belladonna is more of a scout than a rogue. She loves nature and being in the outdoors. She is a fun loving and mischievious elf. Her expression is rarely serious, and often comical. She is flirtatious, and it drives her sister Marika insane. She likes to cause a bit of trouble where she goes and never forgets to try the local brew.

---- (Other) Belladonna is a skilled acrobat in combat, prefering to flank her enemies with her friends from behind. She always appears happy and lighthearted, and in combat wears a look of concentration and alertness.

Cecille:

*Name: Cecille Dawnbringer
*Age: 23
*Race: human- complexion peachy
*Height: 5'5
*Build -Very curvy build, large bust and shapely hips.(Think Marilyn Monroe ) her best features are her full pouty mouth and her large breasts.
*Weight: 140
*Eyes: Icy blue, which add a coldness to her otherwise warm and friendly face.
*Hair: Long strawberry blonde hair with waves, that frames her heart shaped face. Goes to her shoulders, her bangs are long and pulled to the left side of her face
*Class: Priestess

*Attire Battle- She wears a full set of pink tinted plate armor, like all the most worthy priestesses of Erolissi Marr (the godess of love).
*Attire Formal- Out of battle she wears nice, but risque clothing. Anything to accentuate her breasts. She enjoys dramatic fans, and lace. Pink and red are her prefered colors.
*Weapons- Cecile has a Wraith bone hammer. Which is a wicked looking barbed hammer made of bone.
*Jewelry- She may wear a variety of jewelry to compliment her gear, but she is a s fickle with it as she is with the men who's company she keeps. Nothing lasts forever.

---- (Personality) *Personality- Cecile is a confidant woman, who loves the company of men. She knows exactly how to get them, and uses them and moves on.
She likes to gamble and have a good time. In battle she is focused and lethal while out of battle she is fun and relaxed.
She and Belladonna are good friends. She is not well liked by Marika for her influences over Marika's sister Belladonna.

Cecile likes to be flamboyant and noticed, she likes to show flesh and tease and tempt men, she should be drawn to convery this in formal, and in battle she should seem focused and in the moment.

*Race: Half-Elf

Fera'kayle is a half-elf of medium height and build. She has light skin which is mostly covered with decorative clothing and armour. Her hair is a shoulder length mess of curly brown hair kept out of her eyes by a blue ribbon. A few small light pink ribbons wrap around select strands of hair. Her eyes a re a chocolate brown and are only complemented by the blues and pinks adorned in her outfit. A drum hangs by her side and jingles as she walks. A lute hangs loosly on her back and at her other side, a blue tinted flute is tied with some blue ribbon.

---- (Personality)
Fera'kayle is very much a social Elf. She loves being the center of attention, and it shows when she performs. She gets along with everyone else, and is always thinking of how to put her adventures into songs. She is always happy, and cheerful.

---- (Other)
The only thing Fera'kayle needs to be wearing in her picture is the ribons in her hair, and she needs to have at least 1 instrument. I would say she uses her Lute the most.

Marika:

*Name: Marika
*Age: Appears 25
*Race: Half-Elf
*Height: 5'7
*Weight: 125lbs
*Eyes: Green
*Hair: Black
*Class: Warrior

Marika is a half-elf, and stands about the average height for a human. She is muscular, and toned - something she aquired from all her training as a warrior. Her weapon of choice is a Glaive which she strapps on her back when not fighting. Her straight black hair is usually tied back into a pony tail to keep it out of her face.

---- (Personality)
Marika, is very quiet, and very serious, and rarely smiles. She appears almost standoff-ish. She listens to conversations, but rarely contributes. She does not like attention. Attention usually leads to troble. She gets along fine with everyone, and has no real problems with the group. She referes to Belladonna as her "sister" even though they are not blood related. When she was a child Marika was taken in by Belladonna's parents and raised as one of their own. So, though not blood related, they might as well be. Marika is protective of Belladonna as anyone would be of their siblings.

---- (Other)
Marika can VERY rarely be found in something other than her armour, or pants and a shirt. (That dosent mean you can't draw her in something else) She must only have her glaive in her picture.
