I am enforcing a dress code, like last festival, on everyone who is taking part. The reason is that even though this is a festival, you will be acting out the part of the good host to your deceased friend and/or family member. Naturally, you want to look your best for your guest. Some clothing will not be allowed at the festival, and some will.
I prefer that everyone who comes be dressed in a Kimono or Yukata; if you want, you may also wear the Gung Xi outfits. Other outfits are allowed, but in general, should not show any part of the stomach. If you cannot afford to buy a Kimono, Yukata, or Gung Xi outfit, then go through your starter set. You may wear the starter Polo Shirt, the Starter Khaki Shorts, and the Starter Sandals. You may also wear, if you want to dress up a little more formal, the Dress Starter Slacks, the Dress Starter Shoes, and the Dress Starter Shirt. Try to keep in mind that it will be summer, and dress for both the weather and appropriateness.
Some items you cannot wear at all to the festival. They include Pimp Sets, Punk Starter Sets, Baggy Starter Sets, army, pirate, UpsideDown sets, Hand Knit Top sets, peasant sets, G-Corp Items, S-Corp Items, and shirts and pants that expose too much skin. Try to avoid long sleeve clothing, as this is a summer festival.
