Please stop offering to loan me items! Simply because an item is not in does not imply that I do not have the images for it. If the item is not on the list in the second post, then I do not need images of it. If an item is not available yet, it's because there are complications with it, or it just hasn't been cleaned up yet.
I do not need to borrow donation items either, I donate monthly and always get at least one of each item for each month.

Welcome to the thread for the Gaia Avatar Simulator, Gaia's first avatar preview program. I have full permission from the administrators to do this project, they're approving of it and have given me their well wishes on it. <3 I thank them for making such a wonderful website and amazing avatar customization system, I've learned a great deal about JavaScript from working on this.
If you are new to the GAvSim, please take the time to read through this thread.

I present to you a fully functional pose system~! It'll be a while before this makes it into the GAvSim due to the amount of time required to split up the images, but it's on the way!
Keep in mind that only the Skin Tone, Upper Body, Lower Body, and Handheld Left/Right menus do anything, I have yet to work things in for the other slots.
Take note of how it even has support for the correct forced pose C for the Demonic Pitchfork~ <3

On a side note, people need to stop spamming my thread. That means you, Gir_Master. I don't give a flying ******** about your stupid lotto. >|

Credits and Such
I've done MOST of this on my own, but I've gotten some crucial help here and there from my friends. :3

The Gaia Avatar Simulator started on August 2nd, 2003, and was coded entirely by myself, Rachel Rios (Saikatsu). Yeah, omfgwtf, I'm female.
It was writted entirely in Notepad. Yes, Notepad. That primitive text editing program that's standard with Windows. When it got too big for Notepad, I used Wordpad. No fancy HTML generation programs. And when I got Javascript errors? I used the DOS text editor to locate the line/column it was complaining about! >|
I did get bloody irritated with having to manually update my Javascript lists though, so I wrote a VB.NET program that takes a list of items, sorts them alphabetically and then shoots out all the code. Much easier. I'm probably going to redo it so it doesn't use an Access database though.
A friend of a friend (can't remember his name... Tyler?) taught me how to take the menu-based image changer I knew how to do and make it work with multiple images and menus.
Bobby L. Has assisted in further tweaking the code to improve things and bug fixing. He's also responsible for writing the PHP stuff for v2.0b, cause I've got NO CLUE on how that works. w00t and luffs for him! <3

Mel :: Loaned me her Bear Pajamas so I could get the images. Also sent me the male Were Tail image.
Bran-chan :: Loaned me her Angelic Gloves so I could get the images.
Mousekinn :: Got me re-interested in Gaia after a month long hiatus (it was the Coon Tail that got me). Loaned me her AFK and Leather Collar with Cross so I could get the images.
Max and Khyle :: Looked it over in one of the early phases and pointed out a few bugs I'd missed.
Ace :: Gave me the female Coon Tail (WITH A HOLE IN IT OMG O_O), Hammi Hat, Bammi Hat and Nitemare Collar images.
Karma :: Loaned me her Jacked-up Pants. One of the Halloween items I couldn't get cause I instead went to some party that ended up being real crappy, blah blah blah insert annoyed rambling about hating social events here...
Sosiqui :: Got me the female images for the Chicky Slippers, Dried Grass Skirt, and Fresh Grass Skirt.
Kalika_999 :: Sent images for the male Bunny Slippers and Chickie Slippers.
Lupin :: Sent images for both male and female Panda Hat.

Punkie Bloo :: ALSO sent high-quality image for Flower Wrist Band. I forgot to remove it from the "still needed" listing, so I will actually use both Punkie Bloo's and [P1]'s images, by using one band from each image. XD Sai is stupid, verrah sorreh. T.T

The Simulator is definitely a work in progress, due to the constant item updates and the monthly donatiom items that we get... keep up the good work!

Please stop complaining about the broken images. I'm working on fixing that. I don't know WHY they don't work, I'm re-uploading the whole bloody lot of them right now.
EDIT: ... unless you mean they say "image not available." I set them like that on purpose, because I haven't gotten the image for it done yet. I'd like it if you didn't go around saying the images don't work when they do. There's a difference between "it's broke" and "it's not in yet."


Please don't start this already... you don't even have the right reason.

And I'm not going to team up with Souris. I've been doing this completely on my own with only a tiny bit of help since August, it's going to stay that way. I don't work well in teams anyways.

EDIT again yay woo: Thanks to those of you who like my work. :3 I hope to have much more done on it in the next week or so, been spending several hours a day on cleaning images (and I work through each one quickly)... o.@;
