Welcome to my art shop!

This is my third art shop so far. And most certainly the best. I hated what I was churning out, those past two shops- and I'm afraid it showed. They weren't my style, so I procrastinated like crazy and people (including me) got pissed. But this is better now- I've improved a lot, I have more time to draw because I quit my crappy job, and I can actually color things! Yay!

Aaaand, I've made more friends on this site since then, a lot of whom have told me my art is awesome and they would buy stuff. whee Not to mention all the awesome avatars I've seen and WANTED to draw. Yeah, guess my art break is over, back to work. XD

And remember- if you don't buy people's art, they MIGHT just attempt to take over the world, instead. Chyeah. It's happened. stare rofl

-STANDARD PROCEDURE-
1. Use the order form. I wrote it out for a reason. :X
2. Once you completely fill out the form, post it in this thread. (NOT in a PM)
3. Make the trade immediately after ordering. Not only does this alert me that someone made an order, it makes me a little more assured that I'll get paid. X3
4. When you make the trade, put the page number your order was on in the title thing.
5. Then I start drawing. XD Once I finish, I'll accept the trade and send you the drawing. Then you accept the trade and we're both happy. biggrin

If you want to see a preview before everything's finalized, to make sure you'll like the drawing, let me know, then I can show you the sketch before I start lineart. This would be your chance to cancel- once I send you the finished drawing you're obligated to pay. 3nodding Before this, however, you can cancel any time you want- and so can I. :O I've learned the hard way not to accept orders I don't think I can finish, or do well enough. sweatdrop Easier on both of us in the end.

1. Follow the gaia TOS, obviously.

2. Be courteous to everyone else in the thread. Everyone. Discussions about anything (but I'm thinking politics are what's going to get heated) are more than welcome, but if you've got a problem with anyone (including me eek ) and don't think you can keep it civilized, discuss it in a PM or something, not here. dramallama

3. In case rule 2 wasn't clear enough- NO FLAMING. Not ANYONE.

4. NO SPAMMING.

5. NO PAGE-STRETCHING. Horizontally OR vertically.

6. If you've also got an art shop or something, please don't advertise it in this thread. If you want to affiliate, though, let me know and I could probably stick a link up here somewhere, if you link back here. 3nodding

7. Bumping is fine, and appreciated, but what's even better is just hanging out and chatting. Serves the same purpose without filling each page with basically nothingness. If no one else is here and you want to bump, feel free to talk to yourself, logic and/or sanity is not a necessity here. XD

8. No whining. That includes whining about the prices, whining about the art, or whining about when you'll get your art after you order it. XP I'll have a section where I'll put how the progress is going on each one, and I'll keep it as updated as I possibly can, so go check there.

9. Being the shop-creator and artist, I OUTRANK YOU! scream *cough* Uhhh, listen to me, I guess. sweatdrop Bowing/saluting/heil-ing/etc. is also welcome. It fills my heart with joy and blood. 3nodding

No, not just 'cause people kept getting themselves free ones with the discounts. I just got tired of drawing so many CUTE things. XP

Multiple avatars- (price) x (# of avvies) ...Nope, no discount for couples or groups, drawing 2 people is twice as much work as drawing 1 (if not more...), so it should cost twice as much.

Backgrounds- I don't like drawing these much, bribe only- and only if you want something pretty specific.

DISCOUNTS:

-Friends get free upgrade- for example, for friends a colored waist up would cost 10,000g, the same as a lineart in the same category. (and I shouldn't have to say this, but this means actual friends, so no, you can't just add me to your friend list and expect me to give you discount. rolleyes People I know and think are awesome, but aren't on my list, however, DO count... and these people definitely should friendlist me. biggrin )

- If you've got at least 2 (preferably more) Soldat items, you get half off! Just because I heart drawing uniforms. I HEART IT SO MUCH. X3 (Let me know how historically accurate you want 'em. i.e.- you want to be in the Wehrmacht, Schutzstaffel, Luftwaffe, etc., swastikas or no swastikas sweatdrop , what rank you'd want to be, medals, all that good stuff)

- If you can find a picture of the Wehrmacht (or Luftwaffe, or, y'know, just Nazis in general) doing something silly (one I don't already have in my signature) you get 1000g off. And yes, that makes drawings already under 1000g are free. eek Go here to see what pictures are in my signature already- and also perhaps to get ideas for what kind of thing I'd be looking for. XD (There are a lot of pictures of them standing around with no pants. It usually seems to be under the pretense of a "river crossing" or something, but I think they just liked being pantsless.)

...And I might also occasionally give people random discounts if I think their avi is super-awesome, or for any number of random useless reasons.

Yeah- the full body ones cost lots because legs, and the feet that are generally at the end of them, are my main weakness. They are my least favorite thing in the world to draw... so HARD.... So I want lotsa gold to persuade me to make the attempt. X3
I'll adjust the prices if necessary- if no one buys anything or too many people say "ACK TOO EXPENSIVE!" I'll lower them- or if I get massive piles of orders and I get tired of drawing so much, I'll raise them. X3 And remember- I'm technically doing all this for free. Gaia gold isn't real money, it doesn't feed me or pay for gas or any of that. X3

Tektek it. If Tektek doesn't layer things right, save the pic of your avi, then upload it with www.imageshack.us or some other image hosing site, and post it here.

Drawing style: This is where you put what type of drawing you want. Chibi, regular style, or photorealism, and sketch, lineart, or colored, etc.

Extras? If you ordered a chibi and want it animated, this is where you put that. As well as any other stuff- like if you want it to be signature-sized, if you want it to say anything on it or any other extra stuff.

Preferred pose? PLEASE put something here. sad Not enough people do. It not only gives me a much better idea of the kind of thing you want, but it gives me a good place to start. And if I don't have any good ideas (which is often), I tend to draw people just kinda... standing there. BORING. No one wants that. So gimme a pose to work off of. 3nodding
