This is the way we will proceed:
1. You make a request in the thread using this:

(Shinri or Zaphen)
[b]Type of commission:[/b]
(aviart, chibi, portrait, bust, etc…be careful to know if the artist you chose would draw the type you want. Look at our info ^^)
[b]Description:[/b]
(here’s where you describe us what you want! Include the subject : you want a drawing of your avi, an OC, an anthro, etc. Make sure you include as many pertinent details as possible. Physical appearance, facial expression, personality (helps for facial expression), colors, clothes, details such as glasses or hair or jewels…)
[b]Reference pics:[/b]
(very helpful in case of OCs!! Even if it’s not an OC, include one if you feel it is necessary)
[b]Additional details:[/b]
(whatever you didn’t tell us that will help us in drawing your commission)
2. Before anything is done, the artist you requested from (Shin or me) will answer your request in the thread by telling you if he/I will do it.
3. The artist will tell you by PM when he/I am ready to start on your request along with the total price for your request.
4. You start a trade with the artist and with the amount given. Include the page number where you posted your request in the trade title. The trade will not be completed until the final artwork is done. You have a time limit of 3 days to start the trade after which we will move on to another commissioner and you lose your place.
5. The artist will draw a rough sketch for the request then post a watermarked version for approval. It’s now the time to ask for modifications and approve or refuse the sketch.
6. After approval of the rough sketch, the artist will do the final artwork. No, it’s not done with a swing of a wand from Harry Potter; this stage will take time. It could very well take a week if what you asked is a heavy artwork. Please be patient ^^
7. The final – watermarked – version of the artwork will be sent to you for final approval.
8. After you approve the final artwork, the pending trade is completed.
9. Your watermark-less artwork is sent to you and tada!
Rules
Please read the rules carefully before posting a request.
1. Gaia online ToS applies. We love yaoi, but shounen-ai will do nicely in artworks!
2. Artists are humans too! Respect us; we have lives outside Gaia too!
3. The prices are subject to change. However, if you are the commissioner for the work in progress these changes will not apply in your case.
4. By selling you our art for gaian gold, we still detain the copyrights of the art. However, you, the buyer, have the right to use the art for your personal use. You cannot use it to make real money, and you cannot alter the art and/or claim it as your own. That would be stealing! :O
5. We reserve the right to refuse drawing for anyone for any reason.
6. Your request shall be posted here, in the thread. No PMs for requests.
7. After you have approved the rough sketch of the artwork, no last minute modification will be accepted. We can’t stop in the middle of something and redo it completely with new stuff: it will eventually be never ending!
