OK. I need a real, "I smell like lumberjack and curse like a sailor" guy. Preferably one who can play a badass male character, be it historical, modern, or medieval.

My reasoning? I tire of the overly sensitive, emo, whiny, cliché male character who doesn't have the gonads to roughly grab the girl reaming him out by the upper arms and kissing her soundly to shut the never ceasing yap. Essentially, I guess I want the rugged, manly, romance novel-esque male character. Obviously, romance is encouraged.

I'm not one for Fantasy, but if you do want fantasy (and you fit the requirement above) I can accomidate to a degree. I don't like the silly wand waving, all powerful, "my spidey sense is tingling" fantasy. It's silly, too far gone, and vaguely reminds me of dungeons and dragons. I like Dungeons and Dragons, but only when you're playing with a group of mostly realistic characters. Yes, I realize dwarves dont exist, but you gotta admit, they're not bouncing around throwing "lyke omg FIREBAWLZ!". They take out your knees with an axe and dont look back. That's realistic.

So, uh...Right, plots/genres I like (the number of hearts= how much I'd want to play them) :

Historical: heart heart heart
~Medieval (mostly the area currently known as the UK) heart
~Nazi Germany (WWII, in case you didn't know) heart heart heart
~Civil War (US) heart
~Revolutionary War (US) heart heart
~Brazillian Riviera (sugar cane plantations) heart
~High Seas (could be pirates, but I'm thinking more along the lines of rival trading companies; ex: Dutch vs. Spanish)
~Wild West (could be near the end of the era, could be at the middle or start, I dont care)
~Victorian (English or American, doesn't matter to me. If it's American, think along the lines of "Tuck Everlasting" wink
~Neolithic (two steps above cavemen. Think "Clan of the Cavebear" wink
~Something Indiana Jones-esque heart
~Something Mafia related heart
~Middle Eastern (Jerusalem, Princes, Sheiks, harem girls and the like) heart heart

Modern: heart heart
~James Bond-esque (spy vs. spy) heart
~"Baby, it's cold outside" (expedition on Everest or the Arctic/Antarctic circle or something to do with Alaskan Crab Fishing XD) heart
~Drifting/Drag racing based (kinda like Fast and Furious)
~Something Swiss Family Robinson/Gilligan's island -esque (would require you to play more than one character) heart heart
~"Stolen" Mistaken kidnapping

Fantasy: heart
~At the Inn (tavern RP)
~ Bargain with me on this genre.

Warning: I'm kindof a literate Nazi. While I don't demand perfection, I do require a minimum posting limit of two (5 sentance) paragraphs, with good grammar and spelling. Typing your responses in Word and then posting them is a good plan for you, trust me. Responses that use *walks to the door* to show an action will not even be replied to. If it's in OOC that you poke me or something, thats fine, as long as it doesnt relate to the RP itself. OOC should be shown in double brackets or perentheses (( hi )) [[Hi]]. I will do either PM or Forum RP. Please, unless I agree to RP with you, don't add me to your friends list. If I turn you down, don't spam me.

Disclaimer: Some of the ideas have roots in other RPs or vaguely to books I have read. While the ideas are not totally stolen, some concepts will be used.

I play them myself! ^__^ I think girls are very good at playing men, but there are some things that girls aren't able to play out (as we dont fully understand our masculine counterparts).

Well, we can get pretty dang close, you'd think. Or assume pretty good for the most part. xD

That said, I'd be more than interested. I love playing the kind of guy you're asking for. (So much fun!)

I'd go for Nazi Germany but I'm in more of a mood for something between medieval and Victorian. Though, it really doesn't matter to me at all.

What kind of plots do you have, if any?

@Raven= I usually make up the plots at the drop of a hat, so really, it's up for discussion.

As for Medieval, I'd say possibly something in the time frame of Joan of Arc (or Jehenne the maid, same thing) and maybe a returning knight to a place, and person, he's left behind and the turmoil he finds when he gets there.

For Victorian, I would be open haha.
