So... How did I get this idea you might be wondering? Well, a long while ago, close to when I first started Gaia, I saw a scavenger hunt thread. I thought that idea was pretty cool. But since then I have sort of forgotten about it, putting it in the back of my mind.

Well, I started a quest.

My quest is pretty large... It will cost well over 10,000,000 gold. Either way, I was trying to think of ideas of raising money. The first thought that came to mind was a lotto and/or an avatar contest. Then I was thinking of newer, more creative ways to earn gold. This is how I remembered the scavenger hunt. I knew that if I started this idea, it would be difficult and challenging. But so is my quest, so what's the point, right? Right.

Well... The scavenger hunt will work much like the familiar sounding game, but with a twist. Almost like finding the eggs for Easter.

Since this is online, we obviously can't find eggs. So, what are we going to find? Pixelated things, of course! Yay! ::parties::

Alright. Ahem. Sorry. But, really...

Though the scavenger hunting item list has yet to be determined, you can still try to imagine this in your head.

And now your thinking, 'Well... Sounds like a cool idea... What's it gonna cost me?'

It will cost 400 gold to enter.

I have yet to work out all the detail but it will go something like as follows:

Once we have all 60 (I will need help getting 60 participants... Bring your friends!) participants, the game will begin. You will be required to find everything on a set list.

There will be more than one list and more than one round.

The contestants will be downsized from 60 to 40 which is dependant on the progress of each person. Once at 40, a new list will be posted and those people will find those items. The rounds will end once the first person finds everything on the list.

The list will them be cut from 40 to 20. Another list will be posted. After this, the list of people is cut from 20 to 10. Another list is posted. Then cut from 10 to 3. And then a final list is posted.

The winner is determined by the person who gets all the items first. In the event of a tie, one final item will be posted and the first person to find it will be determined the winner.

1.) Do not disobey gaia TOS. Disobey TOS = Out of scavenger hunt WITHOUT refund.
2.) No flamming.
3.) Please don't advertise your lotto/quest/or other thread here. If you want to be put on the list, please PM me with the picture and/or link.
4.) No refunds. None. Not even one. (The ONLY case for a refund is in the event that the scavenger hunt should have to close down)

[color=#9933CC]Rules For Buying Spots:

1.) Do NOT PM me for buying a spot.
2.) Don't PM me unless you have a specific question not answered here or if you would like to advertise your lotto/quest/or other thread.
3.) Send me the trade with a title of SH - 400 Gold'. If the trade doesn't look like this, I will take your gold without refund and you will NOT be put on the list. No PMing about getting your money back, getting your spot, or the fact that you posted them in the thread. That's not what I said to do. Read all the rules next time.
4.) There are NO refunds. At all. None. Zip. Zero. Ziltch. You ask for a refund, you will be laughed at. End of story. (The ONLY case for a refund is in the event that the scavenger hunt should have to close down)
5.) Each person may have only one spot.
6.) There is no re-sale of these tickets to anyone else or exchange of spots. You get exactly what you payed for.
7.) I will take trades in the order I recieve them. First come first serve. You will be PMed should someone buy out the last spot and you no longer have a spot.

1.) If an item involves finding someone with a specific item on, you may NOT use your self if you happen to have that item.
2.) No disrespect to other players. Disrespect = Thrown out of contest WITHOUT refund and possibilty of me telling mods should it be that severe.

Third Prize - 3,000 (3 thousand) Gold.

400 (Entry Fee) x 60 (Participants) = 24,000 (Earnings)

24,000 (Earnings) - 10,000 (First Prize) = 14,000 (Earnings Left)

14,000 (Earnings Left) - 5,000 (Second Prize) = 9,000 (Earnings Left)

9,000 (Earnings Left) - 3,000 (Third Prize) = 6,000 (Earnings Left)

Okay. So that leaves 6,000 (6 thousand) gold left, right? Right. What do I plan to do with this you wonder? I will put it toward my quest. My quest (Which can be seen in my signature and also in the 'Other Places to Visit' post, will cost well over 10,000,000 gold. See the perspective now? It's not that much, is it?

I will tell you all, though, that the contest won't get much into swing until after the 24th.
