Hey guys; marching band season's started, I forgot how busy I get these days. The shop may not open until the season's over (around the end of October). Still definitely going to open, though!
Welcome to the interest thread for Daeskin, growing humanoid pixel pets.
Humans see and know of many animals that make their homes on the face, skies, and waters of earth. Humankind has become increasingly aware of the peril that many kinds of animals face; dwindling numbers, leading to extinction. Many humans have taken steps to try and preserve and protect these animals. What humans are unaware of are the smaller animals also threatened by their advances-extraordinary little creatures, ranging from the beautiful to the comical, invisible to the human eye but just as easily affected by their actions.
This is where the daeskin come in. Once, they were just the manifestations of innocent spirits, wandering the earth without purpose. Small creatures, sensing their gentle nature, gathered to them naturally. As the daeskin began to take notice of the destruction many of these little animals faced, they began to gather them, keeping them safe inside of their homes. Now, the effort is much more organized; it is considered the duty of all daeskin to look after any animal that needs help. Of course, daeskin could sometimes use looking-after themselves, and any human willing to take in a daeskin would be very welcome.
