Here's a summary:
The year is 4207: The world is united unter a strong, yet slightly corrupt, government. Magical threats are very real. For this reason, the Magi Guard was created; a group of elite magical warriors trained in the usage of spells. It is up to these warriors to stop magical threats from spreading.
Okay, now for the rules. Please follow them or everyone will be asked to ignore your posts. You get three strikes before you're ignored. Here are the rules!
1: Magic is divided into several categories:
Enchantments: these allow the Magi to change the world around them, like what I just did with you. I’m a bit of a specialist in this field, sir.
Biomancy: these allow a Magi to change their body in one way or another. They can let you heal yourself or turn your body into a living weapon.
Elemental Magic: These allow a Magi to tap into the forces of nature for devastating powers. Wood, fire, gravity, thunder; these and hundreds of others can be bent to one’s will.
Object Magic: Using this, a Magi can tap into an object’s powers. For example, is a Magi used a deck of playing cards in Object Magic, their spells would all revolve around the cards.
Curses: These allow the Magi to do something horrible to the opponent. Make them sick, make them see things, hypnotize them... you know; that kinda stuff.
Spatial: These allow the Magi to bend the area around them to move faster or travel from one point to another. These require a lot of Spirit, however.
Invoking: This kind of magic lets a Magi call upon a different force to make them stronger, smarter... better. They usually require a contract with the force you’re invoking, however.
Summoning: You can summon something using this, sir. Like Spatial magic, Summoning requires a lot of Spirit, so it shouldn’t be used too often. However, when it is used, it can be awesome.
Beast Magic: Using this, you can tap into the animalistic powers of your familiar, and even become part animal yourself. However, your animal powers are limited to your Familiar’s form.
Necromancy: A very frightening type of magic. Necromancy lets you tap into the powers of the dead, bringing corpses to life and creating zombie servants. But, if you’re not careful, the spell can easily turn on you and summon something else from the Plane of Death.
Technomancy: It allows a Magi to tap into the powers of machines, combining technology with magic.
Forbidden Magic: Magic that is far too powerful and can't be used legally. Examples include Immortality Pentagrams, the Evil Eye, and the Black Beam, which instantly kills a target.
Dark Arts: This magic can only be obtained by making some sort of deal with a demon. The Dark Arts are very powerful, especially ones obatined from the 12 Kings of the Nether.
Rule 2: Every Magi player has a Familiar. That Familiar is their inner animal. The Familiar can also turn into a Familiar Weapon, which is a weapon of the user's choice, and Familiar Armor, special armor.
Rule 3: There are 12 special powers, each one specific to a certain family. They are...
-Silver Capricorn: The Eikomugen family. It surrounds the user with a silver aura that can be used for a variety of purposes.
-Sagitarius View: The Serpenter clan of assassins. It creates a third eye that can see a person's weakest spot.
-Aquarius Shifting: The Chess family. Can only be accessed if the holder uses Elemental Magic. The user's body becomes the element they control.
-Libra Door: The Monko family. Allows the user to open a portal to anywhere.
-Virgo Knowledge: Unknown. Gives the user infinite knowledge. There is only one account of a person possessing this gift.
-Scorpio Arsenal: Arashi family. Allows the user to change their Familiar Weapon.
-Aries Creation: Gin family. Allows the user to create matter out of thin air.
-Pices Fusion: Allows the user to fuse any objects together, or unfuse them.
-Leo Soul: Sutashishi family. The power depends on the user's personality.
-Everywhere Gemini: Valor family. Allows the user to be everywhere at once.
-Cancer Shifting: Pirata family. Allows the user to shapeshift into absolutely anything. They still feel pain, however.
-Taurus Force: Kopiere family. Allows the user to either become an unstoppable force or an unmovable object.
Rule 4: Romance is allowed, but keep it PG-13. Also, no romance between Magi and Familiars.
Rule 5: No advertising for contests and stuff in the arena.
Rule 6: No saying that this RPG sucks. You're ruining it for the other people playing it.
Rule 7: If your character is a Magi, they need a Familiar. I don't care if your character's a demon, vampire, werewolf, whatever... but no were-penguins.
Rule 8: There is no time limit; you can bring your character in whenever you want to. Just describe your character was they enter, like this...
"Breadman walked around happily. He wore a red bread, a blue pair of bread, and grey bread. His Familiar, Breadfamiliar, was a bread. Breadman was bread-years-old."
