Our First Tourney
Our Second Tourney

It's tourney time again! Changes again, most importantly the addition of a losers bracket and the fact that the prizes have been DOUBLED!

Prizes:

1st place: 20,000 gold!
2nd place: 8,000 gold
3rd place: 4,000 gold

And, as before, one lucky person will randomly be awarded 2,000 gold for participating, even if they were eliminated in the very first round.

Other Important Changes:

Losers Bracket:
First, to describe the losers bracket. With this included, that means that you will not be eliminated if you lose a round in the winners bracket (or very first match in the first round). You must lose two rounds to be fully eliminated from the tournament this time, which gives everyone a chance to play more games and possibly take some revenge if they continue to survive the rounds! : O

Entry Fee Eliminated:
That's right, no entry fee this time. Though it was a small 500g the other two tournaments, I felt like it might be restricting to some people. So, this time, all of the 34k total in prizes is coming directly from my Gaian pockets.

Rules:

1. Absolutely NO hacking allowed. If you are caught hacking (through evaluation of a replay or other means) then you are disqualified, will be blacklisted here on Gaia, and then reported to Blizzard.

2. SAVE THE REPLAY IF YOU OR YOUR OPPONENT DISCONNECT. In the case of this happening, you must submit the replay to me by uploading it to a site and PMing him the link for evaluation. If the person who was obviously winning disconnected, they will take the win. If the person obviously losing disconnected, they will take the loss. If there was no clear winning side at the time of disconnection or no replay avaliable, there will be a rematch.

3. You must use the maps in the map pool, as to avoid disagreements about what map will be played.

4. The following bugs are not allowed (Standard WGT rules):

Allied Mines
Interceptor crash via buildings
Worker stack using gather on a Vespene Geyser in order to issue multiple commands and stack, even to explore undiscovered areas.
Any ground units flying or "floating" through the map.

5. Not really a rule, but it is suggested that everyone save their replays, as to prove that they did win if someone tries to say otherwise.
FINAL RESULTS:

1. MTF
2. Zerg_Night
3. SovS_WifiE
4. Death_by_Skittles
5. Kusagai
6-10. Everyone else.

Results and Standings:

Disclaimer:

I am both running and participating in this tournament. I will be fair, and that can be attested to by those who participated in the last two tournaments if there are doubts.

Also, because of the more constrained times for this tournament, if you fail to show up within twenty minutes of the round time, you will take an autoloss.

Only 1,000g awarded per bumper. No exceptions.
