To improve the speed for Gaia Online, we need to add a couple of servers every month to keep up with the demand for traffic. This Thursday Gaia will be moving to a bigger Internet Service Provider so we can have have more servers online. whee

On August 12th from 10PM, PST to 3AM, Gaia will be down as we move all the servers to the new provider.

After the move, we will be able to install even more servers and handle more users during the busiest hours. wink

Meanwhile, database enhancements are still being worked on. Once we're done with that the site will be even faster. Stay tuned! blaugh
