Well considering that I haven?t actually set it up properly nor outlined what the sections were, I decided to give everyone who submitted 500 gold and a promise that I will set up another multimedia contest soon, with proper awards and all. I?ll send the gold out as soon as the market place gets back online and I can sell some stuff XD
But I do want to award Ballentine for the UEBER awesome Naia Winamp skin that she did. I figured a March letter is a good prize ^_^

Comments: Now, here the choice was not as obvious. I actually had many favourites and wavered for a while. But I finally decided that this particular design fits my purposes best.

Welcome to the FA’E : Designer’s Challenge Contest. This is a bit of an unusual event – it is not a contest for artists. Designer’s Challenge has been created with a very specific purpose – to find talented designers on GAIA for the Fa’e HQ. As you can see, I am running this contest for purely selfish reasons. I also apologize for the “All or Nothing? quality of two of the three contest sections. To compensate for that, I have created the Multimedia contest section, in which more then one prize is given out. So please take your time to read the rules and I am looking forward to your submissions.
10-18-04: WOW, so many nice entries!!!!! Thank you guys! Sorry for not posting the deadline. It will be December 1st. I will put it into the header in big letters now. Also - I have recovered about half of the pictures. You can access them here:

10-11-04 : Hoo boy. Sorry to tell you guys, but a large chunk of the sample fae art files got deleted last night. I am working on getting the files and the webpage back online, but I didn't get the chance to do it yesterday. I will hopefully do it tonight, though. Again, sorry about that.
10-10-04 : Erm ... yeah, it's officially open now. I AM SOOOOOOO SOOOOOOORY for the long wait . I'll post when it'll be over soon - I guess a month and a half is good, right? Oh - and please reread the rules - I changed some stuff. Also - much thanks to Kaekia for pocking me about getting the contest going finally and helping out SO MUCH!!!
1. The contest consists of three independent sections. You can submit up to three entries for each section.
2. There is not entry fee.
3. Fa'e Guardians are allowed to participate in any of the three sections. In the case a Guardian wins, they can either claim the monetary prise or select a person to be the Guardian for the Fa'e.
4. In case of the Multimedia section, no entry will win more then one award. In case of the Redesign and Website sections there is only one award to begin with.
5. By submitting an entry to this contest you give me the right to use it for my shop, the Fa’e HQ, as well as post it on my website and allow other people to download it (in case of wallpapers etc.). Basically, each entry will be considered a commission done by you for me and treated as such. You will always be give credit for your work where credit is due.
6. Entries may be submitted via posting/linking them here or sending them to Fae Contest Staff by PM.
7. Please act professional and play nice. Do not whine in this thread that such and such entry is so much better then yours and that you never win. Do not diss the work of other. If you prove to be sufficient of an annoyance, I reserve the right to disqualify your entry and ban you from this thread.
8. I reserve the right to amend these rules as the contest goes on – I am really new at this razz
