Okay, this may seem a bit farfetched, but it is possible, and with everyone's help, it will happen.
I am planning on world domination through a simple plan.
First, a leader must be chosen. I elect myself, because I'm only going to benefit those who join this plan, and perhaps give some of the rest to needy countries and people. We cannot change this. We can't elect anyone else other than me. But don't worry. Everyone who joins this plan early will be given a great deal of power, and the majority of my job will be figure head. After my death, one of my children, who I will name Flip (it could be used as either a boy or girl's name) shall be my succesor, and they wil be figure head, while your descendants will have the real power.
So, now that we have a leader, a new name for "leader" must be chosen. Instead of "Leader Flip", let's go with "Mistress Flip" or "Lady Flip." Either title is fine.
Now, here's where all of you come in. Gaia is a large forum. Very large. If you convinced a person that I should be leader of the world, and that by pledging their allegiance to me early they will gain a great deal of power, and they then and went and convinced one person, soon all of Gaia would become the foundation of this organization.
Once we manage to convince everyone that they can have a s**t load of power just by joining early, we shall gain quite a great deal of members. That is when we start moving to other forums. Then we go off and leave the internet. We talk to people everywhere, convincing them that by merely pledging their assistance, they can get a great deal of benefits.
Perhaps, you are thinking, that this is stupid. But imagine yourself ruling a small country. Nice lirrle thought, eh? But let's keep going.
Once we have a great deal of members, we branch off into politics. Those who followed me in the very beggining will be given postions, and they will be voted in by our members. Any country that utilizes voting in representatives can be used in this manner. Once we have political power, we also have political assets.
We can then keep on convincing people to join our group, which we will organize as a political party, though not just a single country party, but combining a somewhat international party. Our party shall be given a name that children will understand (not like Republicans or Democrats), while maintaining an edge of authority (who can respect a party named after a color?). For now, let us just call it the "Darkstar Party." Our party's symbol will be an animal the gets respect, such as a lion, tiger, or wolf, not something like a donkey.
Our policy wil be simple, and practically fool proof. Our policy will be what few politicians actually do. We will not be greedy. At first, we will spend must of our funds not for ourselves, but for aiding our public relations. We are an organization. We will not think about individual greed, but about world domination. Only once we rule the world will we swim in pools of money.
After we gain political power, we will then go for financial power. By getting powerful companies to join us, we will recieve some financial power. Once we have enough financial power and political power, the most powerful of our party will run for the heads of every aspect of government. President, Prime Minister, Congress, Parliament, all will be under the Darkstar Party's influence.
Once we have several nations under our control, we will then use the military might, as well as financial capabilities. No country will dare oppose us, in fear of having the most powerful nations attack them. We will also buy countries for ridiculous ammounts of money, because in the end, all the money in the world will belong to us.
Once we have the world in our grasp, we will then change it to suit our needs. The people who joined us first and showed the competance to lead shall be granted their own domains. I hope to have at least a hundred able subordinates who will manage to world, as well as ten ultimates who will govern them.
I will merely look on, give my opinion when I feel like it, and live in moderate luxury and comfort (I'm only asking for a computer, all the manga and anime I want, some food, and a cute little house) while being surrounded by body guards, because I'm the target for any terrorist organizations that feels like assasinating someone.
If you take me seriously and convince others to do so too, then world domination will not seem impossible. All we need is followers, and we can get followers by being nice (but only before we have their pledges) and giving gifts as well as promising power and wealth. In twenty years from now, you can be sitting in a solid gold hot tub, with a gorgeous model ******** you, along with the recognition that you rule. Literally.
We could do wonders. If we ruled the world, we could have peace (as far as nation vs. nation), we could destroy evil corporations and give the money to unfortunate people, we could do anything, and we could make the world a better place for everyone. Think Gaia could use a little more funding? A few more programmers to lighten the work load? How about money for posting well on Gaia? Think those n00bs need to be politically reprimanded? Anything will be in our power. Imagine what an international leaugue of scientists could do.
The world is made up of people. If you control the people, you control the world. If other people can control the world, why can't you and I do it? What makes them so special?
