While the council was in progress again came Lu Bu to challenge them, and again the commanders moved out against him. This time Gongsun Zan, flourishing his spear, went to meet the enemy. After a very few bouts Gongsun Zan turned and fled; Lu Bu following at the topmost speed of Red-Hare. Red-Hare was a five-hundred-mile-a-day horse, swift as the wind. The lords watched Red-Hare gained rapidly upon the flying horseman, and Lu Bu's halberd was poised ready to strike Gongsun Zan just behind the heart. Just then dashed in a third rider with round glaring eyes and a bristling mustache, and armed with a ten-foot octane-serpent halberd.
"Stay, O twice b*****d!" roared he, "I, Zhang Fei of Yan, await you."
Seeing this opponent, Lu Bu left the pursuit of Gongsun Zan and engaged the new adversary. Zhang Fei was elated, and he rode forth with all his energies. They two were worthily matched, and they exchanged half a hundred bouts with no advantage to either side. Then Guan Yu, impatient, rode out with his huge and weighty green-dragon saber and attacked Lu Bu on the other flank. The three steeds formed a triangle and their riders battered away at each other for thirty bouts, yet still Lu Bu stood firm...
Mission Statement
This RP (role play) is about everything -comedy, tragedy, horror, romance; anything, but most of all it's about the fighting cool

Welcome to Lu Bu Dojo! We are different for many reasons...
1. Lu Bu Evolves -whenever Lu Bu seems to be slowing down, it's because, like Gaia, there is something major in the works that effects the whole system.
2. You may advise and suggest things to me(ill gladly except any tips-I also know I am a horrible speller).
3. Rooms (detailed in the Guild, customize your own room, soon to be houses ^_^)
4. Lu Bu has an actual storyline created by the users...
5. We have classes with personal instructors to cover all fields of Wushu/Budo/Combat
6. Setting places additional opportunities to do other things than fighting...

Sieg's Personal Rules for Lu Bu Dojo

no Godmodding, Power playing, Etc. If used the user risked having there post and fight nixxed, and being banned.
Combat in the dojo:
When fighting in the dojo, the format of the match must be agreed on before the fight is held. Both fighters must be ok with the other charaters bio, weapons, abilitys(if applicable). The time of the fight must be agreed on and who makes the first post. The number of post in the match must be agreed on as well. We have a few specifc formats that can be used below.
If an OOC dispute arrises. Both fighters must either hold it in PM's or in the OOC thread. If the conflict can not be resolved between the two fighters, they may ask the opinion of an official. Good rpers should do whatever it takes, even take a hit to keep the rp fight flowing smoothly.
OOC involving martial arts may be held within the main dojo thread.
When fighting with structurally destructive powers, one must either hold it in a room that can hold though's kind of destructive powers or outside the dojo. If one does not, there post will be nixxed and if the offense is repeated they risked being banned.
Military artillary weapons are prohibited within use in or outside the dojo. If this offence is crossed the concerning post and conflict will be nixxed.
Omega Level abilities are restricted by use of all thoughs who rp in this thread. Omega Level abilities include: metaphysical abilities that have the potential of instantly destroying(erasing or breaking down) a vital part or the whole of the physical body, abilities that remove anything from this plane of existance, abilities that take advantage of being able to strike from a seperate plane of existance, an ability allowing one to destroy, create, or manipulate an entire or section of a plane of existance, abilities that allow instantanious travel or abilities that allow one to move into another plane of existance, abilities that have the potential of splitting an atom, ablities that allow one to manipulate the underlying particles that make up this reality. The characters in the thread may possess them, but they cannot be used in this thread. Any use of such abilities will result in them being nixxed.
Any special power or ability that uses more energy than a single personel heavy arms, IE...An assult rifle, shotgun, revolver, RPG are prohibited for use within or around the dojo. However, fights can be agreed on that are held outside the dojo that use powers on and above this scale.
IC specific Rules
IC specific rules are rules that if broken will recieve only an IC response and attempted punishment.
Using more force than needed against an opponent within the dojo. This dojo members and security guards will be called to aprehend the offencer with all force neccesary. If this results in death, the character (not user) will be thrown out of the dojo.
Stealing. This dojo members and security guards will be called to aprehend the offencer with all force neccesary.
Assulting a member who did not agree to a fight. This dojo members and security guards will be called to aprehend the offencer with all force neccesary.
Purposefully destroying dojo property, will result in an IC fine enforced ICly by dojo members or security guards.
Offending any other rule that the dojo members find personally offensive will probrably be settled through combat.
If a criminal is apprehended, then they will be held captive within the dojo.
Rules Concerning Teaching and Heiarchy
The meaning of a sensei is simply a person who has administrative power in the dojo, meaning power to judge, make rules, and to change things concerning the dojo.
At this point only the sensei has the right to teach and instruct others or a group of others if they believe they have the knowledge to do so. However they must be ready to face criticism of there technique and to be able to back it up either through rp combat (preffered) or verbal debate. Soon however everyone will be allowed to teach.
they can teach anything from, Martial arts, to psionics and spirituality, to war tactics, and to phylosophy.

Anyone may attend any class and anyone may question the thing being tought but they must be able to back up there claims.
People who are not members of the dojo are permitted to enter the dojo and rp freely but they may not have a room, participate in tournaments, or partake in any other events. If they show any suspicious IC behavior, they will be scrutinized by dojo members and security guards - If they make behavior offensive to the dojo...they will be treated as an attack. After 5 dojo days, they will be questioned about membership and if one refuses they will be put out by the dojo security guards or members if neccesary.
Rules concerning Attacking
Are we open to attack: No not for the moment, but we will be in a few days. I just need to collect more frequent members sence we moved back to the O/M.
Rules concerning OOC
If you leave, please role play your character out (if possible). Or at least tell us.
You may post OOC post in the dojo only if you are rping actively as well. If you just want to OOC chat, use the OOC thread. Lu-Bu OOC thread
Any OOC arguments or debates must be held in the OOC thread or in the PM's, under penalty of warning and then banning.
Big Updates
On May 30 2005, the member list will be wiped and everyone will be asked to reapply. The new application will consist of a test administered by myself of my own choosing. These test will vary depending on the person and the profile sent in.
