Housemates:
Zaxzi is a winged pard, and one of Brit's oldest companions on Gaia. He's sadistic, cynical, arrogant, and vain, but thankfully he's also very protective of the children and good at keeping them out of trouble....hopefully they won't learn anything from him. If you see this horse-sized Seer coming, it's best to stay out of range of his tail, wings, and acidic wit.
The Faelings
Chanti, Desaarh, and Kaori are faelings that Steele 'borrowed' from somewhere. They've become family, helping her out as much as they can! They love to play with the children. Chanti is very laid-back and calmly competant- which he needs, dealing with the trouble-making Desaarh! Kaori is very lady-like, and loves to talk to the girls in particular.
FyFy and Surline are the newest faelings- offspring of Desaarh and one of the faelings over at Ogre and Fyre's place. Now, how did that happen...?
The Tahnee
We started out with Fel and Jor...but recently Brit heard about an overflow at the Orphanage that simply could not be contained by it's walls. She volunteered to take in EIGHT of the children in need! Steele wasn't too happy about that, but eventually Brit hopes she'll understand how helpful and sweet they are.
Felrias and Jordain were adopted from the Tahnee Orphanage when Britain's oldest son, Aoshi, was about eight years old. They're more of associates than members of the family, since they both tend to be a little standoffish. Fel is the sweeter-tempered of the two, while Jor is more feisty. They act as tutors for the children- Fel tutors in the usual school subjects and a little bit of magic and Jor tutors in weapons (bow, shortsword, daggers).
Vitree is one of the more recent additions to the family, but the 'girl' (don't let his girlyness fool you- he's most definately male) swiftly took over the other Tahnees once he arrived. He is charming and has a quick mind for command- no matter how odd he is, he keeps control.
Verrato, Tellesin, and Jisakin are a set of dark cousins who somehow managed to stay together at the Orphanage. They are a very quiet trio, but individual quirks (like Tell's love of the ocean and Jisa's bright chatter) become more evident once you get to know them. Verrato specializes in History, Tellesin specializes in Law and Business, and Jisa works with kitchen magic- making her an incredible cook.
One would think that
Rikken would be the leader of this crowd, but this scientist prefers to stay in the background and give Vitree advice when needed. Even though Steele wasn't too happy about the new children she's been a little stuck with
Wrath- this little pickpocket needs to either "learn not to steal the silverware or learn to do it RIGHT." He's lazy and doesn't like to work, but he's a pretty nice guy. No one's really certain whether
Fore and Montreal are twins or lovers, but they're definately one of the two- they're never seen apart, and they work together seamlessly.
