These are general rules of the thread and forums.

- This thread is Web 14 like the rest of Gaia.
No begging.
No proposing how much you will pay for a Shounen in the thread. All customs must PMed to the colorist if they are accepting.
Harassing a Shopkeeper or Colorist about a Shounen will result in Blacklisting.
Harassing anyone about anything on the Shounen Thread or Forums will result in a heavy warning or Blacklisting.
Do not whine if you miss a chance to get a Shounen
All comments, questions, and concerns may be discussed as long as it does not involve begging or whining.
Annoying Shop Keepers, Colorists or other people can result in a warning. (You may suggest others for warning if you have a valid and provable reason)
The Shop Owner always has the last say.
All rules here apply in the Forums as well.

||Sales
These are rules concerning the sale of Shounen.
</center>
- No Pets or Items may be used in the place of money in Flat Sales.
Offers before a Flat Sale begins are null and void.
Whom ever hosts a Shounen Auction decides if Pets or Items may take the place of gold so long as a set fee is paid to Soterios.
Talking half a minute before and during a Flat Sale must be kept at a minimum unless you are attempting to buy a Shounen from the Flat Sale. This makes it easier for both you and the Shop Keepers.
You may buy or bid for someone else in a Raffle, Auction or Flat Sale so long as the proper amount is paid to the Shop Keepers.
You can only bid for one person per flat sale. If you bid for yourself and someone else, it must be in a separate post.
If you get a Shounen in a Flat Sale, you cannot get a shounen in the next Flat Sale. (This may also apply to auctions.)

||Colorists
These are rules for colorists.
</center>
- No making 'free' Shounen. All Shounen must be paid for by someone.
All Shounen must be reported to both Soterios and Ravenfyre.
Any Shop Keeper or Colorist who neglects their assigned duties for reasons not outside of their power may receive a warning.
Any Colorist who abuses their power will receive a warning or be removed as Colorist.
Guest Colorists have no set Quota unless they agree to it and fulfill it.
Guest Colorists may not hold flat sales, auctions or raffles, but may help with them.

||Pet Trades
These are rules for trading pets for Shounen.

- Not all pets will be accepted
No pets that require RPing to own. (We are busy people!)
No non-breedable pets
Soterios only accepts males. (Gender choice varies between pets for the other shopkeepers.)
All pet trades MUST be approved by Soterios.
Gold and or items may be added to pet trades to boost value.

||Roleplaying
These are rules for roleplaying Shounen.
</center>
- Shounen cannot breed or fall in love with females. They are strictly a Yaoi (MalexMale) pet. They may, however, be friends with females.
No RPing anything beyond PG-13 here. Take anything past that to a messenger program like AIM or YIM.
Do not RP other people's pets for them. (EX: You make another Shounen that isn't yours do an action in one of your posts.) Owners decide what happens to their pets, not you. They can make any action done to their pet by your pet nonexistent if they do not agree with it.
You do not have to talk in brackets here. Most people RP with the name of their shounen when they post... (EX: Sienna: *adjusts his glasses*) So brackets are not necessary.
Please limit the RPing of non-Shounen pets in this thread.

Trojan is the big boss of the Shounen thread. He runs the finances and other important duties. He has little to do with the actual interaction of the Shounen, but he is still an important figure. He is a good leader, but has a bit of a soft spot for a goodlooking Uke. It would do well to follow his orders, or an employee can find themselves out on the street.

Gregory is the new librarian in charge of keeping tabs on all shounen new and old, including newly hatched babes, making sure no 'illegal' shounen show up to make trouble. He's quickly found himself in over his head, but he's up to the challenge. Very prim and proper, he comes off as a bit prudish, and just a bit snobby. He has very little interaction with the other shounen, which just might very well be a good thing, semes left in his care have often found themselves nursing many wounds (and grinning like idiots, but that's beside the point)

Q: Can I color a Shounen myself as long as I pay for it?
A: No. All Shounen must by colored by one of our Colorists. If you are caught doing this, you will be instantly banned. No warnings.

Q: What do Shotakon (Baby Shounen) call their parents?
A: They can call them watever they like as long as their parents approve. Semes are usually called Dad and Ukes called Mom. Some Shotakon call their Seme parent Daddy and their Uke parent Dad, and others call them by their name. It all depends on the Shotakon and his parents.

A: No, but it is highly reccomended. Shounen are a very community based pet. It is just more fun for everyone when there is a large selection of people with different RPing styles. Your Shounen will NOT be taken away if you don't RP it. I find that this is horribly unfair for owners.

Most shops have a donation section, but the Shounen shop's donation section also benefits you! You donate your hard earned gold to Shounen, why not be rewarded for your kindness?
Rewards are based on a point system. The more points you have, the more rewards you can earn! (Like free Shounen, Special Donator only events and more)
You may not give up multiple payments of say, 500g and expect many points. Your gold is added up, and once you reach over a certain amount, you are awarded a new point.
Though the points may seem small, even .5 of a point gets you a long way and puts you ahead of nondonators.
How to Donate: Just send me, Soterios, a trade titled 'Donation'.
We do not accept donations under 500g.
