8/27/04: When I get back from vacation, I will be setting about to hire an assistant, as well as revamp a bit ((and hatch all buds)). If anyone would prefer a refund, however, I completely understand that and I will gladly give you your money back. I'm not going to make excuses for my laid-back attitude when it comes to this shop. However, I have given the Galatean shop to someone else and will now have more free time... As well as less stress. I sincerely apologize to all of you for being so unfair... and such a nightmare of a shop owner. ?: Zee Update: Nyar! I have been switching all of the Kanaksune's file types over to "PNG" instead of "JPG". If your Kanakie is already in PNG format, you have nothing to worry about. However, if your Kanakie is in JPG format and you see it turn to the infamous red x... simply type "yourkanakiesname.png" where "yourkanakiesname.jpg" was previously. Also, I'll be updating the owner's list with the changes... So if you can't figure out how to change the URL, just click on the link to your Kanakie's picture in the owner's list. Kay? Kay!

4/1/04: Holy crap O_O Today I was playing with some of the Kanaksune and noticed that Mya was swimming in the little lake near the Headquarters. I wandered over to her and saw that she was... playing with someone? I peered into the water to see who ((or what)) this mysterious playmate was... And low and behold! A Kanakie! With fins and a mermaid tail O_o;; I saw two of these critters nearby... they looked slightly different... A female and a male, I assume. I have decided to study them and then try to find good homes for them ^^ This has brought up all sorts of questions... Can they breed with regular Kanaksune? Are there OTHER elemental Kanaksune? No one knows... Yet o_o

Kanaksune go through 4 different stages in life. The first stage is as a pod. The second stage is as an blooming pod... When you see this stage, you must rush back here to have your Kanakie born! The third stage is as a baby. The fourth and final stage is as an adult.

Note: The color of the "ribbon" around the pod indicates what color your Kanakie's wings will be. The color of the "egg" itself indicates the color of your Kanakie's main fur. The color of those tentacle looking things indicates what color your Kanakie's fluffy fur will be. ((Around the neck, ears, etc...))

Do I HAVE to RP? No... Although it is HIGHLY HIGHLY encouraged! If I had orginated this shop, I would've made it a requirement xP

Where are we supposed to RP... As in, what's the atmosphere? Imagine this: A large, but strangely cozy room. Full of sofas and soft chairs... complete with a lush carpet. There is a fire place and a few wooden bookshelves, as well as a decently sized entertainment center. There is also a kitchen in the room next door as well as a bathroom. There is also a backdoor leading to a beautiful backyard/courtyard. It is full of paths, trees, benches, plants, and a clean pond in the middle ((Inhabited by some fish and the water Kanaksune)) as well as some randomly placed fountains. Special pipes underground connect each of the fountains together and connects all of the fountains to the pond. This way, the water Kanaksune are able to swim wherever they'd like ^^ Inside the HQ, there is a special fountain, incase the water Kanaksune want to be inside during, say, a thunderstorm?

How do kanaksune act? Well, they can talk. They're about the size of large uber fluffy cats O_o and they have incredibley good hearing, due to their large ears.

Why should I bother RPing? Because sometimes if you RP a lot... your pet may change >> For instance, if your kanakie has a RP adventure where it ends up getting burnt and receiving a permanent scar... It might just actually appear wink

I've heard that there are three types of Kanaksune... Is this true? Yes indeedy! So far (( wink )) there are only three types: Pure gemed, Demonic, and Angelic. You can only obtain Demonics and Angelics through rare auctions, however.

Do you do pet trades? Why, yes, I do! xD I will most definitely give a custom Kanakie for a: none at the moment!

When will there be more flatsales? There will not be any more Gen 1 flat sales... simply because there are SO many Gen 1s released already.

How many Kanaksune can I own? You can own as many as you'd like!

Kanaksune... Kanakie... Toki... what?! Kanaksune is the plural of Kanakie. Toki is the species... and Kanaksune are a certain breed of Toki pet.

Can I bribe you for a Kanakie? biggrin Er. maybe biggrin

Lyke omg why did you give suchandsuch a free Kanakie and not meeeeeeeeee? Er, we own this shop and as such we can give free Kanaksune to whoever we please n,n This will be done rarely, however.

Every week, I will update the Kanakie moods depending on how active you (their owner) has been. Light chatting is all that is required to keep your Kanakie happy, so don't panic that you'll have to RP 5 times a week. If you neglect your Kanakie, it will become sad, and then annoyed. @_@;

- This means that your Kanakie is feelin' super cool wink This commonly occurs when a Kanakie finds out that another Kanakie has a crush on him/her... Or when you buy accessories for your Kanakie ^^

- This means that your Kanakie is happy! Wooo! Perhaps you pay a lot of attention to it, you buy it many things, it's happy that it has just had children... Who knows... and who really cares as long as it's a good sign, right?

- This means that your Kanakie is excited and/or surprised! This may happen when a female is pregnant and excited about it... or when special events occur in the Kanaksune HQ!

- This means that your Kanakie is bored. Very bored. Bored Kanaksune are one step away from becoming either sad or annoyed, and you don't want that, do you? razz So... RP with it! Give it an adventure!

- This means that your Kanakie is confused. This face most often appears when your Kanakie just drank a potion... or ((if it's a male)) if it's love becomes pregnant. This scares and confuses the male Kanakie... because they're silly like that. Worried about being a dad and such razz

- This means your Kanakie is sad sad Please come to the thread and show your Kanakie you care! Otherwise, it will become annoyed sad Sad Kanaksune will sulk around and refuse to breed, but they will socialize with close friends.

- This means that your Kanakie is annoyed. Try to keep your Kanakie happy, otherwise.. well.. it might not be pretty. O_o Give it something fun to do... "Annoyed" Kanakie will utterly refuse to breed or associate with other Kanaksune (yes, this means that "rehabilitating" them will be difficult, so don't let it go there!)

Do Kanaksune mate for life? Kanaksune do not HAVE to mate for life... However, if they do, they will most likely produce more eggs!

How many eggs should I expect when breeding my Kanakie? You can usually expect 2 eggs, unless your kanakie is life-mated with another Kanakie... In which case you might get 4!

How long does my Kanakie have to wait to breed again after breeding? Kanaksune must wait 3 weeks in order to breed again... Making love gets tiring xP

Who colors the Kanaksune's offspring? Well, I am the main breeder and colorist in general, though Nyao-chan will also do some breedings at times ^^

May I sell my Kanakie's offspring? Yes, you may. BUT only when they are in the egg stage... NOT the child or adult stage. Also note that if you are to auction off you Kanakie's egg... the price cap for such an auction is 20k and 20 percent of that goes to the colorist.

I have an Angelic/a Demonic Kanakie... If I breed it... Will it have any Angelic/Demonic babies? Good question! The truth is, that is VERY VERY VERY ((Did I add enough very's?)) rare! So I wouldn't get your hopes up too high O_o The reason for this is because I'd like to keep the Angelic and Demonics as rare as possible ^^

Can I become a breeder? Please please? I'm a good colorist? biggrin ... Really! I'm sure you're a good colorist, but I'm really in not need of another breeder right now. Breedings will not be frequent and I'm sure I can handle most of them myself ^^ Thanks for the offer though wink

Can the "antennae" trait be passed down to non-Angelics? Nope o_o That is a retired trait... Bwuahahahahaha >>

Well, hello?! How much does it cost to breed?!?! A lot o_o 5k... Yes, you read correctly, 5k. Which is 2.5k per owner. That really isn't a lot if you think about it O_o You're getting an egg AND 2 stages GUARANTEED for only 2.5k... And that's only if you get to keep ONE egg per person... You could get a larger clutch and be able to keep more @_@
