This roleplay takes place in Universal Century, specifically during the One Year War. You may choose to be any character from Universal Century, as long as they were actually around to be IN the war. You MAY create an original character, but I'll tell you right now that your chances of getting a Gundam are slim at best. If you wish to be a Newtype, you MUST ask me in a PM.

Series included in this are the following: Mobile Suit Gundam, 0080: War in the Pocket, The 08th MS Team, 0083: Stardust Memory, Blue Destiny, Rise from the Ashes, Zeonic Front, Lost War Chronicles, Mobile Suit Variations, G Generation, Zeta Gundam (Characters only), Gundam Sentinel (Characters only), ZZ Gundam (Characters only), and other sidestories I may have forgotten.

The character application is as follows:

If you play as an actual chracter, PLEASE know the character! Do not choose to play as Yuu Kajima ONLY because he pilots a Gundam! you must know how to RP as him also!

Okay, now for general rules.

1. GODMODDING IS BAD. You do not control other peoples' character. BUT...
2. You MAY control NPCs. Any unclaimed actual characters (Amuro, Bright, Shiro, Char, etc.) is an NPC. But, once that character is claimed, you may not control them.
3. Jackassery is not welcome here. Treat others with respect, please.
4. If you are unsure of a term or anything else in the story, say so in either an OOC post or PM me directly.
5. When playing, do NOT use script or -this-. You must use storywriting style. When speaking OOC, use OOC: or (()). Speech MUST be in "". Thoughts may be italics or ''.
6. GODMODDING IS BAD. Oh wait, I already mentioned that. Think of this as an emphasis!
7. Have fun, duh.
8. If you see something inaccurate in what I've said concerning the story, MS, or characters, feel free to speak up about it. I'm not so full of myself that I won't accept that I make mistakes.
9. You MAY control more than one character if you have mule accounts. BUT, you must be able to handle controlling multiple characters! If you can't handle it, don't try.
10. Oh yeah, please don't do stupid things like acting totally OOC for kicks, or having your character suddenly blow away two dozen MS at once. This isn't Wing, G or Seed. razz

11. When making your application, please try to be original. I don't want to see everyone and their mother with "Zeon/EFF killed my parents, now I'm on a revenge crusade" or "I am l337 pilot who is uber and gets to test-fly every MS before its produced!" I also don't want to see every original Fed pilot end up with GM Sniper IIs, or every original Zeon pilot end up with Gelgoog Jagers. There's more to war than sniping! xp

Appearance: Somewhat tan complexion, has smaller-than-average hazel eyes, has very dark brown hair that is combed back and sticks up a bit in a random pattern. Is a bit above-average in height at 5'11". Weighs 170 lbs.
Bio: Born in Mahal Colony, Ryan was born into a family heavily loyal to Zeon Deikun. Following in his mother's footsteps, Ryan attended a Zeonic military academy and graduated with honors. Ryan was enlisted in the Zeon Mobile Force and attained the rank of Senior Petty Officer just prior to the outbreak of the OYW. He piloted a Zaku IB and is a cousin to Cima Garahau, who is an officer in the Zeon Marine Corps.

After the dreadful Battle of Loum, Ryan received a promotion to Ensign for sinking two Salamis-class cruisers and shooting down six Saberfish fighters. He was issued a new Zaku IIF and was given permission to paint it in his colors of choice. Ryan had a service team make two modifications to his new Zaku; first, replacing the spiked shoulder armor with a second shoulder shield, and affixing a munitions rack to the Zaku's left hip armor. The rack could carry up to four hand grenades or smoke dispensers, and could also store a three-meter-long cold-metal assault knife for close-combat use along with the standard heat hawk.

Bio: Alex's father and mother were both soldiers in the earth federation forces, however two months ago her mother turned out to be a spy for a pro-Zeon group and was killed. The next month her father was also accused of espionage, and was killed as well in an "accident". She left Earth afterwards and immigrated to Side 3, joining the Zeon military in order to get revenge on her parents deaths. Within months she was an excellent pilot in training and was then transferred to the Zeon Mobile Force.

Bio: Originally from Side 6 (which has just declared its neutrality), Thomas immigrated to Side 3 when his father got a good job there at some banking firm or another. He later joined the military at a time when youth patriotism was high and was assigned to the space attack force. During his first assignment, his Zaku was outfitted with extra spiked shoulder domes when too many spares were delivered for the fleet's new Zaku IIs.

Bio: Jiro's story is basically that of most of the "faceless grunts" enlisted in the Zeon military. He joined the Zeon forces at his earliest opportunity and was placed in a Mobile Suit pilot training program. He showed a penchant for MS piloting and advanced quickly through training, being placed in active duty thereafter. Gaining experience with the MS-05 series, Jiro was soon stationed on the Chivvay-class Befreiung, a ship which would be supplied with the MS-06F Zaku II, which was an improvement over the mainstay C-Type Zaku IIs.

In the Battle of Loum, Jiro flew a standard-colored MS-06F outfitted with a 280mm Zaku Bazooka and leg missile pods. Though the battle records indicated that he had not defeated enough enemy units to qualify for a promotion to Lt. JG, his superiors in the battle -- the Black Tristars -- managed to get him to be noticed by some of the higher-ups in the Principality. To this end, he was granted permission to customize his Mobile Suit. Following thie battle, Jiro opted to use the machinegun for the upcoming ground-based battles (although the bazooka would remain as a backup weapon), and obtained a modified shoulder shield to use as a hand-held defense. He also had his suit painted a gray color.

Bio: Born in the United States in UC 0058 shortly after Side 3 declared indpenace. Keith was raised a normal life on earth until one day His parents were asked to help Side 3 with some reseach. Keith and his family moved to Side 3 were he went his remaining days of school while his parents worked for Zeon Zum Deikun. While Keith was attenting Milltary school to become a officer in the Side's milltary. His parents were killed along with Zeon Zum Deikun and his followers. Keith soon heard news of his parents death and made him even more detreamed to make a good life for himself. Shortly after he finished his schooling he became a Ensign and was a test polit for the new Zaku's when they were frist devolped. Shortly after the dogs of war were called he was promoted to Lieutenant JG.

Appearance: Short brown hair that barely brushes her shoulders, brown eyes, a little petite.
Personality: Quite friendly, though can be a slight brat at times. Rather bright, but also gullible and naive. A bit of a klutz at times. Hates to be a burden on other people and can easily have a lower self-esteem. Takes piloting quite seriously. Also loves music.
Note: she has a mind of her own, and sometimes takes things differently then what a person may mean, and vice versa.

Born/living at: unknown birthplace, currently in the middle of a transfer from the Vice Admiral himself though had residency in Kycilia's main ship.
History: Jean was born to Lt. Brian Anchors, who is an espionage agent for Zeon (working directly under the orders of Kycilia Zabi), the mother is unknown. Unfortunately, not much is known about Jean as she herself seemed to have amnesia at about the age of 10. She recovered enough to attend the Academy and eventually graduated 3rd in her class. Most soldiers that know of her feel that she's merely a bratty teen that's somehow gotten favor with the Zabis.

Appearance: A medium-tall, heavyset man already showing a widow's peak and a few grey hairs in his close-cropped 'do. He has a rectangular face that always seems to show a ten o'clock shadow no matter how recently he shaved. His eyes are blue.
Bio: Alec's father, Louis, was a close personal friend of Zeon Zum Daikun and was the major source of funding from the war effort, thanks to his large space construction firm. Alec viewed Daikun as almost like a favorite uncle, and has absorbed his intense desire for colonial independence. He was given a relatively high rank when he enlisted, shortly after the outbreak of the war, but sent to defense missions far from possible Earthnoid interference. After a great deal of argument, Alec was given a real combat mission.
