Santa's Workshop is run by Raylborn, the one from far away and aunika647. We decided to make this thread because we wanted a fun, active way to help out other people on Gaia. Doing this, we meet cool people to! I thought of making something to do with Christmas since the season is coming up fast. I thought of a Christmas give away but it turned out to be much more. We want this to be a very profitable experience and help others in any way possible. Deadline for donations is December 23 for we will be giving them out on the 24 and 25.

Holiday greetings and welcome to our wonderful gift exchange. Everyone knows how fun it is to get wrapped presents on Christmas so we want to get one out to everyone who wants one. There is one catch, it isn't totally free. This is how it works, you send us an unwrapped gift and we record that you sent us one. On Christmas day you will receive an item of the same value as the one you sent us. The better items you send, the better items you get. Send the items to Raylborn entitled Santa's Workshop gift. If the title isnt this or something to that effect I will look upon it as a donation.

Charity Funds: 10,100 Gold

11-29-04 Started Setting up biggrin
11-30-04 Finished setting up. Waiting for donators now smile
11-30-04 Finally started to get some donations in!
11-30-04 Got two new staff members, aunika647 and The one from far away. We have 1700 in funds now also. Huge donation from the one from far away, 681 gold. We now have around 2800 gold in charity funds. Good work everyone!
12-01-04 Woot! It's December! What does that mean? IT'S ANOTHER STEP CLOSER TO CHRISTMAS! Well yesterday I got a blue box with a fox tail in it. I traded it for a lot of gold, basic fishing rod and a vial of unkown liquid which are all going toward Santa's Workshop. We are now starting to plan the Nutcracker Christmas Ball. Please keep the donations up! Stay tuned for more updates.
12-1-04 WOW! WILDDLADY1, a very generous person has just donated 2k! We are very happy that she has done this! Our gold is now up to 6300! Good job!
12-1-04 Christmas is coming up so we planned a christmas ball! We named it the North Pole Christmas Ball. It will have games, contests, activities, give aways and more! Also if we raise enough money from the ball then we are going to buy a gift for each ticket holder! The link is here so go and check that out! Also were getting loads of donations, thanks to all you donators! Our funds are hitting 8000 now! Were just getting more and more donations! It's amazing! Be sure to check out the ball! Keep it up!
12-02-04 Were almost hitting the 10k mark! The exchange and ball are going well. We have lots of people donating and buying tickets We have hit 10k! WOOT!. Excellent!
12-03-04 Hey everyone! We have now reacher 11k! We should have at least 20k by the ball and that will help provide prizes and gifts for everyone! Keep donating and thanks!
11-05-04 Not much has happened lately but were getting ready for the ball. We have now 12k, doing good.

Other than just having a normal exchange, every once and a while we will have a give away. Items are needed through donation or money donations which will be used to buy them. They will also be given away for things such as the avatar contest and sometimes just at random.

Bump Give Away:
Goes out to the person with the most amount of bumps. You can only win this prize once. Everyone needs a chance so spread the spirit!
