Name: Phoenix Amber Twilight (goes by 'Phoenix')

Age: 1468 years approx. (this is equal to 16 years in human life span ^^; )
Race: Japanese/Phoenix ~(O__O)~
Bio: Along time ago, a village in japan was being attacked by rebels. The village people were gentle beings and did not know how to fight. So the prayed the Phoenix who lived in the mountains near by to rid them of the rebels.

The Phoenix however wanted something in return if he defeated the rebels. The beast was very lonely and wanted a lover. So he said 'In exchange for me getting rid of the rebels, I want you to bring me the most beautiful woman in your village to me to marry.'

The villagers were so eager to get rid of the rebels they pushed forth a woman by the name of Akifuru Chiyo, a young girl with silky black hair and shy blue eyes. Seeing the woman, the Phoenix quickly ridded the village of the rebels and got married to the woman shortly after. So far all was well.

But on the other hand, Chiyo was very frightened of her new husband. He was not even a human! He was a fierce bird with a tearing beak and talons, but beautiful and gentle at the same time. She was not sure if she could love such a powerful thing.

The Phoenix, seeing Chiyo's hesitation, told her to drink some of his blood, and with that, cut himselve and poured a bit blood into a small cup.

"What will this do?" Chiyo asked.

"It will make you as powerful as I," the Phoenix answered. "You will live a eternal life. And also by drinking that, you will have a child."

"A child? How?"

"Does there really need to be a reason?"

Just as the Phoenix had predicted, a child was born. She was named Amber Twilight, but often was called Phoenix by her mother. She had hair like her mother and eyes like her father. She had the form of a human had wings and a tail like phoenix, which she could hide in her soul (Special phoenix powers!) to blend in with regular people. Unfortunatly, unlike her parents who are bonded for all eternity and lifes that will never end, Phoenix has a limited life, a mortal life, meaning eventually she will die. Of course, she has a much longer life span then most humans, so she won't be dying anytime soon.

Thus, the years pass and here stands the Phoenix Amber Twilight of today.
Personality: Let's just say she has a lot of energy for someone her age ^^;

A dark blue haired girl dressed in a flaming red kimono slipped silently thru the quiet yet beautiful temple. She sighed and began to hum quietly to herself - Her friend, Reenee, had told her much about this place! She said that amazing things would happen if you prayed to the Sun Goddess, Amaterasu.

She heard the story of Amaterasu and decided it was for a good cause. She also decided that the next time she was in town, she would stop visit and maybe offer a pray or two.

Stepping lightly up to the main temple, she slipped off her shoes and made her way slowly to the center of the room. In the past, when she was young, she would watch her mother pray to the Buddha- sweeping the floor every few minutes in between muttering words she could not understand. With a gleam in her ruby red eyes, she slowly kneeled, closing her eyes. Putting her hands together she muttered-

"Oh Amaterasu, let your powers burn as powerful as the rays of the sun. Only with your light can you lead people to their destiny..."

The girl cringed slightly, somewhat cursing at the lame pray. She wished she could come up with something better, but it was her first time in a temple other then a Buddhist one.

'Who goes there?'

The red-eyed girl jumped to her feet and yelped. "Um! Um! Please pardon me! I'm sorry for intruding!"

"What is your name?"

"Phoenix! Phoenix Amber Twilight!" Phoenix whirled around the room trying to find the source of the voice. But it came from everywhere. "I- I'm sorry! I'll leave!"

'It is quite all right, child. Please... can you help me?'

Phoenix twirled around again to see a bundle of white blankets lying on the ground before her. She paused slightly before kneeling down to pick it up. Gently unwrapping the blanket, to her amazement there was a baby child - one like she had never seen before. He had white hair and gorgeous crystal blue eyes with seemed to glow mysteriously in the darkness of the room. The baby yawned a bit and stretched, flexing small bat like wings similar to the colour of his eyes. In the dim light, Phoenix also saw that the baby had black spiral curved like a boomerang growing out of his head.

"What is his name?" Phoenix asked inaudibly. Her voice did not go unheard.

'Aoyuki. Take good care of him.'

Phoenix nodded and smiled. Reenee was right after all - Amazing things would happen if you prayed in the temple of Amaterasu.
