Dec. 19, 04- Marushii's dragon has appeared!

Dec. 18, 04- This journal was opened.

**Just a little something to get you started. What you write in this journal is up to you, though it should involve you rping that you're interacting with your dragon. First though, you have to get your dragon. Write a little story/description of a dream you've had or just one you've made up. Since your dragon is a custom, you're free to include him in your calling dream. Once I post in here with your dragon, you're free to keep posting what/when-ever you want.

Marushii stood before her bed, holding a dazzling goblet up to the light. The three-tailed kitsune studied the artwork on it, seemingly lost in its appearance... Very rarely was she able to set her eyes on something as rare -- or as well-crafted -- as this. She smiled, taking a deep breath of the sweet-smelling scent coming from the purple liquid within. Immediatly she felt relaxed -- drowsy, even. Without a second thought, she lowered the goblet from eye-level and brought it down to lip-level and drank, perking up at its sweet taste.

Once it was emptied, she set the goblet aside and curled into her bed, drifting off to sleep with a smile curling about her lips.

The cry of a sea bird echoed loudly about the cliff face before being swept away by the wind, then consumed by the ocean's roar.

Where are you?

The oceans batter against the tall, jagged rocks, trying to topple them over. The water was a deep, pure blue, unblemished by the creation of man.

Can you hear me?

Wings soared upon the ocean's thermals, stretched to catch the current. Eyes scanned the coastline endlessly, as they have done for many a'time, again and again.

The searcher was about to search elsewhere when the wind pulled at the wings, bidding the flier to come closer. There, standing on a clifface was a girl. The wind pulled at her ocean-blue hair and deep purple dress, causing them to billow behind her. A hand was raised to shield her eyes as she looked at the horizon, her eyes squinted in concentration.

A joyful roar came from the dragon as he dived, causing the girl to whip around, looking around then up. Written on her face was... Fear? Shock?

Neither. A smile.

She opened her arms to the dragon as he dived down, nearly colliding with her as he landed. At once she pounced forward and grabbed him in a hug, squeezing tightly.

I have been waiting for you.

"I'm sorry I'm late..." She whispered as the feeling of wings wrapping around her in a hug occured, "But I've finally found you."

The sweet notes of birdsong awoke the kitsune, bringing her back from the dream world. Slowly, she sat up and looked around her in bewilderment, as if not recognizing the room. A sigh escaped her as she slowly stood up from her bed, arms wrapped around herself in a self-hug. What was it that she had lost? What was it that she had found?

"...I'll be waiting for you."

Where are you?

His wings dipped, slipping beneath a wayward wind before catching ahold of a thermal, bearing him up and up until he was a mere speck in the sky. The sun glinted off of his hide, causing the purple to shimmer... And the white to reflect, pearl-like, in return.

Suddenly, he stopped. Was that her, wandering the coastline? He dived down for a better look, pulling up sharply as the apparation faded away. It was her -- he was sure of it! And yet... how?

He flew on, considering his choices. Wasn't there a legend...? A rumor; an old tale of how one could enter another's world...?

I've waited so long for this...

He stretched his wings to their full reach and pumped the air, gaining altitude. His legs were tucked under his belly tightly, claws folded as to not catch the wind and slow his speed. His fins were next to be folded down as he arched in the sky, pointed downward. Like an arrow, he fell from the sky true, heading towards the water.

I'm coming!

Marushii groaned and stretched as she slammed the worn wooden door behind her, glad to be home. Why she had purchased this place, seemingly out in the middle of no where (except for that small town a good twenty-minute's walk away) was still pending an answer. At least the peace it offered was well worth it... Enspecially after such a hectic day like the one she had. The kitsune shrugged off her coat and tossed it onto the pale, dusty-yellow couch as she passed it. Before she entered the hall leading to her room, she turned and regarded the couch silently. It, like the rest of the furniture in the house, came with the place when she bought it. She didn't have heart to throw it out, even if it WAS pretty ugly... It made up for its looks by its comfort, though.

A yawn escaped her as she continued on her trudge to her sweet, blessed bed in her bedroom. She could already feel the warmth of the covers, the sweet scent of... of...

She furrowed her brow, hand on the latch paused. What was that scent of? A heavy sigh escaped her as she rested her forhead against the dark wood of the door, lost in her memory. Last night she went elsewhere... And met him -- Iilivenahr... Her dragon. "Wyvern." She corrected herself, pulling open the door and stepping inside.

BONK.

"Oof!" Marushii stumbled, blinking away the tears that resulted in running into... into...

A cry of joy tore from her throat as she pounced forward, latching onto the Wyvern that crouched there. "Iilivenahr! Iilivenahr!"

Iilivenahr nuzzled his bondmate and wrapped his tail and wings around her in a return embrace, softly cooing a melody. Together... We are closer than siblings; than lovers... I did it -- nothing can keep us apart now... Now come! Come with me, to Almahat!

He shifted his position, allowing Marushii to change into more comfortable sleeping wear. When she was asleep, he curled around her protectively, watching her for a moment before leading her to Almahat; to the land of dreams.
