Dear Journal,

More practicing and I think I've gotten this righting thing pretty much down. Thogh there are a few words I still don't get right. Watermelon and I have stopped fighting as much, which is good, because with all the new kids in the partment Mum's gettin a bit upset trying to take care of everyone.

She seems worried bout Jack. He still hasn't hatched. I think I'm worried too.

I wanna go to the Sweet Tooth, but there really isn't any time... Mum's got final exams and lots of school work to catch up on so its hard to get there.
