Well, I'd really appreciate if my applicants would read everything in this section.
Here's the way it works. Come here, tell me about your quest and why you deserve my money, and, if I think you deserve it, I'll give you 1000g. Yes, that's right, 1000g. If you're thisclose and just need a little smidgen extra, maybe 1100g, I could probably swing that for you too, if I'm feeling generous. (:
As much as I'd like to, though, I can't just give gold to every Tom, d**k, and Harry that comes wandering into this thread. I've got to have some standards. So, first of all, you need to have been a member of Gaia for at least a month. I'll be honest, I'm not going to check the join date of every single applicant, so I'm mostly taking you at your word for this one. However, if you're completely naked or in peasant clothes, or I feel like I'm being duped, I won't hesitate to give your profile the once over and find out. Also, include a link to your quest thread, if you have one. If you don't have one, your reasoning for why you need my gold had better be outstanding. As for the reasoning, I'd like at least a paragraph written about this. Come on, all that gold for nothing but a paragraph? That's a pretty good deal! I'm not a huge stickler on this, I'm not going to count and make sure you have exactly five sentences including an introduction and a conclusion or anything crazy like that. Oh right, and one of the most important things. Just to make sure you read all and this, and because I'm feeling completely arbitrary, make sure you mention peanut butter and jelly somewhere in your request. Last, but not least, please include a thank you in the subject line of the return trade. I probably won't cancel the trade if you don't, but it does make me feel nice to get some thanks. (: One more thing before I forget, stop telling me your post counts as I really, truly, don't care, and it's annoying to see them all.
This is a one shot deal -- please do not keep posting "new and improved" applications, all that does is clutter the thread. Thanks.
That's simple enough, right?
