It is, therefore, only natural, that my breedable would be an homage to them...

Meet Bryagh. I found him living in my attic when I moved in. He's a bit on the moody side, but don't worry - he's afraid of my cat ^_~

Dragons like Bryagh seem to have sprung up in North American after it was settled by Europeans. Not the huge mountain of scales their old world counterparts were believed to be, these fellows grow as large as a very large dog, or a small poney. Ever since I've found Bryagh they've just cropped up everywhere...I bought an egg at a flea market, found a nest under my house, and even won one on a bet in a biker bar! With so many appearing my life, I thought I'd try and bring them to others!

There will be two types of dragons sold here. Common (or series) and Unique. Common dragons will not come with a layout, and may not get items and they will come numbered. Of course, they will cost less the unique dragons. Unique's will generally only be available by auction, or through breeding. Common's will be sold periodically here, or raffled. You must have one unique dragon in every breeding, a common may not breed to a common. Common's can, however, breed to unique's.



Each dragons gender, is easily distiguished by which outline they are. I've made a gender key, so if anyone is in doubt about their common dragon, or confused about their hatchling can check.







1) (NEW RULE) I am not going to hold your hand and walk you through the first post. If you send me a trade, when nothing is for sale, I will confirm it and ignore the request. Everything you need to know about how to get a dragon is in the first post, under neat, large headings, organised in an orderly fashion. READ for heavens sake.
addendum: If you can't find the big bold 'read the faq' line, you are an idiot. What do I have to do, make it a 72 pt. font size? ~_~
AND if you ask me if you can buy the "username" egg - you are ALSO an idiot. I had to put bit BOLD text at the top of the icubator saying the eggs were already sold, and people STILL ask for them. X_x

2) there is no limit to the number of dragons you can have. This is capitolism, if you can afford it, it be yours ^_~

3) Dragons may not be resold. If you don't want yours, please, given them back to me, so I can find them homes.

4) Don't PM me if you can help it. Unless you've got a really excellent reason, or a question I haven't answered, please just post in the thread. Just about every PM I get I answer with this phrase "Please read the first post and the FAQ".


IMPORTANT:
I've seen breedable shops get scary. Do not whine, complain, shout, accuse, etc. in my thread. I will ignore you. I try to be nice and patient, but theres a limit. You're not going to hurt my feelings or make me feel guilty, you're just going to make me not like you. I love ideas from other people - but only if they are stated in a happy, constuctive way. Otherwise I'm liable to not do it, just because you pissed me off.

I hold the copyright to these guys...and their layout...and the FONT the title is in and the "dragon" title on the layouts. DO NOT remove my name from the images, publish them outside of a gaia related page without my knowledge, or claim them as your own - it is illegal by national and international law to do so.

NOTE about new traits!
If one of the parents has a trait (horns, mane, etc) then all its offspring will carry the trait EVEN if they don't display the features. Therefore there is a chance that the offspring of a dragon that appears normal will inherit the dormant gene and be born with the features. ^_^



How does it work?
Simple. There will be FOUR slots open. Four! You are encouraged to breed with other peoples dragons. These slots will be opened on a first come first serve basis.
A fifth one will be taken up by Bryagh. He'll be available to breed with someone who had ONLY a series/common dragon and no unique. That person will only pay half the breeding fee. The person will be allowed to keep one egg from the breeding. The remaining egg(s) will go to 'newbie auction'.

The date and estimated time the slots open will be announced a few days prior. Once a breeding is finished, slots will reopen when ALL the eggs from the previous breeding have hatched.
**There must be one unique dragon in every breeding pair.** Series dragons can breed only with a unique dragon.
No inbreeding will be allowed. Therefore a dragon my not breed with its: parents, sibblings, or children.

Each breeding will produce at least 2 eggs. A single owner breeding will almost never produce more then 2 eggs. The owners of the parents may decide among themselves what to do with the eggs. You may choose to keep/sell the eggs, or wait until they hatch to decide what to do with them. However, remember eggs DO often take at least a full week or more to hatch.
You may:
-give them away
-keep them
-sell them at flat sale or auction or in a form of contest or raffle.
The shop requires 25% of the sales of any eggs, flat, auction, or otherwise. This helps to keep the cost of breeding down.

Notice: I am going to up the cost of breeding. Because I am allowing people to make money off their eggs (sometimes, as we have proven, quite a bit of money, heh), I feel it is fair to charge more. A good amount of work and detail is put into each dragon - and no two will ever be exactly alike. Therefore henceforth the breeding fee is: 5000g
