all right. I just have to say this right here and now. I'm floored. I've reached 71,300 in donations tonight, thanks to Cressida_Angouleme. she donated 28,000 pure tonight, on top of a base donation of 3,000 and alongside 19,760 worth of wishlist items she's gotten for me, plus she says she has more.
I just have to take a moment and stand back from this game and just say "wow". I've been on the internet since 1995 and I've participated in many interactive sites, games, MMORPGs and the like, and I've just never had a new friend be so generous to me. I'm used to playing MMORPGs where boys are abundant and girls are rare, and all the boys shower girls with gifts. I actually did the same, not just random girls, I've always tried to help Hithwen along on other games we've played, because it gives me great pleasure to do so. I've always loved pampering my friends and loved ones and it makes me feel so good to see their faces brighten.
the thing that makes me feel the best about it is that she's not just a faceless donator, but she's become my friend--and coming from me, I just have a hard time opening up to people. she's making it very easy indeed. heart
so....blah, I'm rambling, but I just wanted to voice it. thank you Cassie and I can't believe you're doing this while you're questing, too, especially when the devil tail would look so damn good on you. everyone should go bump-molest her quest--and to all of you who actually read this, thanks for tolerating my one moment of gush. >__>;;;
