Welcome to the world of Pems!

Announcements!
I have decided to delete the old accessories for the Pems too because they look awful to me at least.
Owners, there are choices:
a) If you would like to keep the accessories, that is fine. I am going to keep them with you until you have posted saying what you want. If you wold like this, just post saying "I want to keep them, the items are awesome!"
b) If you don't want the old accessories, you can have a coupon for the amount of money you spent on the items so as to use it to buy something else. If you would like this, just post saying "I want a coupon for my accessories that I bought."
c) If you don't want the old accessories, you can just say so to delete them from your house and you don't care about the gold you spent on them. (I highly doubt anyone will go for this choice but I am putting it here anyway!) If you would like this, just post saying "I don't want my items but you can keep the gold!"

In a reserarch center, reserachers located an island off of the Florida Pennisula. The maps had never shown this particular island before. The odd thing was that the whole island was full of rainforests. They started reseraching on the isalnd in the early millenium and ocntinued for a few years. The reserach majors, Joey and Andie, decided to land on the island to study the island on foot. They were the only ones who were brave enough to go on this quest. It was the year two thousand and four. Joey and Andie landed on the island in Fevruary with neccessities on their backs and a portable weatherproof tent.

The months pasted and there wasn't a sign of a living thing except for threes that covered the entire island. The two majors were getting descouraged in late June. The humidity and temperatures weren't helping either.

One late afternoon a small noise came from under a brush pile. Joey was the one who was awake at the time and sprang up in surprise because the months had been filled with peacefulness. The sound came again that sounded like a squeak. At first she thought that it was only mice or rats. BUt who would expect mice in the rainforest? Joey carefully lifted the branches on the pile and came to see tiny squishy creatures that squeaked sparingly as they jumped up and down. Joey marked the spot, and then ran to get Andie. She was asleep in their tent and awoke immediately when Joey stormed in. Andie dressed quickly and followed Joey to the marked pile. Joey again gently lifted the branches and pointed to the unknown creatures. They each counted three creatures happily bouncing. Andie stayed with them while Joey went to set up an enviroment to insulate them in.

Ten minutes later, Joey brought back a glass looking house with bush, branches, and leaves inside of it. Andie carefully picked up one of the creatures with both hands and measure it to be about five inches tall. She then set it down in teh house. Joey now picked up the next one which looked exactly like the first one. The last one was a little different than the first two. For one it had half of a shell still connected to it and tiny attenaues on it's head. They sealed the house with a lid on the top and carried it back to camp.

Over the next month the two researchers cared for the creatures and scavenged the island for more of the creatures. They only found two more and birds; and they had searched the whole island. Since they had not found anymore living things, they concluded the island was dying off. Joey radioed the main station of their findings. They agreed to bring back the five creatures to the center.

When they arrived at the center everyone was thrilled with the findings. Over the next week they tested the creatures for everything and anything. Since Joey and Andie found them; they were allowed to name them, too. They decided on pems, since they had found out their parents, or ancestors, were Rems and Pomples. The research center let go of the island they had spent so long on because it was dying off. They decided to study another suspicious plave now. Andie wanted to stay with the team to do more reserach but Joey didn't. She decided to set up an adoption center for the little Pems. She loved them like they were her children.

They building was ready in about a year, complete with seperated little minature houses for the Pems in captivity. Joey built a house next to the center so she could watch them and care for them. The Pems could now live in houses with regular furniture, although very small, and be loved by humans instead of living in the trees and underbrush. The generations are coming quick.</center>

1. Don't steal my creations, i have worked a long time on these!
2. No flaming/begging or anything like that!

4. Please read all of the posts so you know exactly what to do!
5. For each flatsale, only one Pem per Gaian!
6. You have to direct link your Pems or else they won't grow! Even when they turn into adults you have to direct link them so their moods can change and such!
7. Please post your order form in the thread and then send the trade! 3nodding If there is something wrong with your order(ex. total) then I will cancel the trade and pm you.
8. NEW RULE!! You have to stop by the thread or roleplay your Pems every couple of days or they will die, unless you post that you are going somewhere or aren't going to be on for a while. Please just tell me if you are going somewhere!

Q- How much do Pems cost during a Flatsale?
A- Usually 400g.

Q- Can I have a custom?
A- Not unless there is a flatsale and I have said you can have a custom or unless there is a custom auction going on.

Q- Can I have two or more Pems in one house?
A- Yes, you have as many as you want!

Q- How many pairs of Pems can be breeding?
A- It depends on how many slots are open. biggrin

Q- Are you going to sell anymore first generation Pems even though the second generation is here?
A- No, not unless a first generation couple breed together and they dont' want the eggs from it.

Q- Can a first gen Pem and a second gen Pem breed?
A- No not yet.

There are six stages but are there more?

Stages for First Generation

Egg
Egg Pems did a lot of care and loving before they can age. They are at a very delicate stage!
Eggs don't need food but do need a good home so they feel warm and comfortable.
This stage lasts about 4 days.

Baby with Cracked Shell
These younguns just hatched and are still in the process of hatching.
They finally look at you with their big eyes. Its momma and daddy!
Babies with Shells start eating slowly. They love to explore their new home.
This stage lasts about 2-4 days.

Baby
Yay! They hatched. There are big wanderers so keep a close eye on them!
They need a lot of attention, laughter, food, and toys.
Role playing makes their mood go up fast!
This stage lasts 7 days(1 week).

Child
They are growing up fast, aren't they? Your Child Pem always wants your support.
They need a lot of food, and attention still.
Role playing still makes their mood go up fast. They love being played with by their parents(you)!
This stage lasts 7 days(1 week).

Teenager
Oh no, is your Pem rebelling? Your Pem is getting to be on their own now.
They still need a supply of food and love but want to be alone a little more.
This is the stage for role playing with a mate or crush.
This stage lasts 10 days.

Adult
Your baby is all grown up!
They still love you and need your support to live a wonderful life.
Adult Pems are old enough now to find a mate and breed together.
This stage last a long time but will eventually end.

Aww, your Pem has died. Will it be a ghost or a tombstone? It depends on how well you have taken care of your Pem.

Stages for Second Generation

This generation is exactly like the first one. They need everything the same except they are a bit smaller. There features have changed too. Why, we don't exactly know.

I am not going to repeat the same info up there because that would be silly. All I am going to do is add the new info about the second gen.

These eggies are a little smaller and are more fragile than the first gen.
This stage lasts about 4 days.

Look at those little attenaes growing. They will come in soon.
This stage lasts about 2-4 days.

Baby
The shell is gone. They attenaes are still coming in. Wait a little longer and they will be here.
This stage lasts 7 days(1 week).

Child
The attenaes are in and your little Pem can play and be active and everything.
This stage lasts 7 days(1 week).

Teenager
The attenaes have dropped off. They are maturing quickly.
This stage lasts 10 days.

Adult
Your baby is big. Now he/she can find a mate!
This stage lasts for as long as you give him/her all she/he needs.

Aww, your Pem has died. Will it be a ghost or a tombstone? It depends on how well you have taken care of your Pem.

Needs
Pems constantly need your love and care. They can't survive without you!

Food- You need to buy food at the Pem Mall to keep your Pem healthy and active. Food varies from Pems favorite treats, Meartes, to Fruit. If your Pem stays too hungry for a long time, it will end up getting sick.

Poop- Pems poop like every other living thing. They do this more often as they grow up. You will need to post here saying "Clean up poop for (your Pem's name)" when you find a little surprise in your home. You do not have to have a toilet for your Pem to poop; they will do it anywhere. Although it is recommended to have a toilet so that their mood won't go down because of the smell.

Toys- Toys are a big part of a Pem's life. They give them laughter and entertainment. If you do not have any toys in your Pem's house, their mood will come down quickly and soon end up in boredom.</center>

Now for explaining the house.

1: Inventory. This will hold everything that you buy food, clothes, accessories, toys that aren't being played with, medicines, etc. It can only hold four food items.

2: Your Pem's base room. You can change the color of the wall and carpet, add tile, or whatever just like adding a room!

3: Your Pem's Name. Keep it short. It can be anything you want.

4: Gender. This tells you if your Pem is a male or female.

5: Mood.

These are all of the moods that your Pem will have in it's mood bubble.
First Row:
Content-Your Pem is not hungry or bored. She/He is doing fine.
Bored or Hungry-Your Pem wants food if your food supply is low or if you don't have a toy somewhere around the house. If you have a toy but it isn't in your house, post "put toy in (room) for (Pem's name)." If you don't have any toys, please buy one from the mall in one the further posts. If you don't have any food, buy some from the mall using the special "add on" food and toy order form.
Sad- Your Pem feels neglected. You need to play with him/her or roleplay will help a lot.
Sick- You Pem is very sick. Buy the medicine for him/her quickly or in a couple of days he/she will die!
Getting sick- Your Pem is on the way to getting sick. You can cure this fast with the antidote.
Second Row:
Poop- There is a poop somewhere in your Pem's house. Clean it up for this face to go away.
Exclamation- Your Pem is about to grow to the next stage!
Heart- Your Pem adores you!
Sleeping- Baby Pems and younger usually have this because they are so little and need a lot of rest. This can appear for older Pems too.
Happy- Your Pem is very happy because it has a lot of food or was just played or role played with!
Third Row:
Died- *weeps* Your baby has died. Hopefully you took really good care of your Pem because you might still see him/her.

6: Health. This tells you how healthy your pem is. If your Pem poops and it is in his/her house for too long, expect him/her to get sick. They germs will make your pem sick! If it is low you need to give him/her some medicine from the mall.

* The pots are toilets for your Pems. Pems dont' use regular toilets like us, they use plant pots. They come in colorful colors!
* If you want all three items for your bathroom, you must have a large room! They will not fit in the smaller room.

Please don't overcrowd your Pem with items because it will look silly! You can have as many as you want because the itmes will go in your Inventory but that doesn't mean the Pems have to have them all on!

I know it is a little much but I have to match it exactly to your Pem. Only items with asterisks/stars under them are allowed to do this!

* Breeding costs 350g if both Pems belong to one owner or 250g per owner if they are seperate.
* Only between a girl and boy Pem.
* They will both move into the Breeding House up there and then it will take from a week to 2 weeks for them to have baby Pems.
* How many Baby Pems you have vary from 2 to 4! 3nodding So that at the least each owner gets one.
* Your Pems have to be at least teenagers to breed. It is better if they are adults though!
* With your first generation you can only have 4 Pem eggs and thats it. The rest of your eggs, because you can keep breeding, will either go into a flatsale or an auction!
* Your Pems will leave their homes that you have made for them and go into the breeding center up there. Your home will have a sign in it where the pem used to be until they have their babies!
* If you have been role-playing in the designated thread with your pem and the one you are breeding with, the breeding will go a lot faster.
