-Special Thanks to Anya! for letting us use her idea-

After excavating deep into the temple ruins this small relic was unearthed. Very little is known about this particular artifact but hopefully Koko-Tokei will be able to help us in our discoveries.

The relic has left us, for the Aduthule have emerged. Koko is blessed with two little girls, an earthly one and an industrial one. Not much is known about their personalities, but it is certain that they are very cute!

opinions - Well, I think Rael is really, really nice! She let me play with one of her dolls, even. I think we've met previously, but my memory is fuzzy, and I don't really remember.

I suppose she's nice. Then again, I haven't really spoken to her. I can only go off of what Moriko says at the moment.

Aikaz; The sinister, demonic 'thule.

opinions - I dunno. She seems kinda mean. And she wasn't all that nice to my sister, either, so I say we're not on good terms right now.

I despise her with every fiber of my being. Koko won't let me say 'hate,' sadly, but I guess that will have to do.. Nonetheless, she is such an annoyance. She compared me to a car, a hammer and even called me a freak.

journal entry; jan. 11, '05.

low an' behold, a new year and a new entry. rather exciting, don't you think? but, on a serious note, it's been ages since this thing's been written in. the book's gotten a bit dusty, too, but i'll manage after a bit of sneezing.

Christmas has gone by, and so has New Year's Day. though i wasn't writing, the girls and I were having a good time! Katana was actually happy around Christmas, mostly because Fred and George were around to celebrate with us. yep, they were found. Kat would've been sad, after all those things i'd told her and Moriko about the holidays. would've gotten them all hyped up for nothing, you know? had the longest lists of things they wanted i'd ever seen, too, but i can't complain. they were reasonable, and if anything costed money, it wasn't alot.

.. except for that tool-kit that Katana wanted. and those seeds Moriko wanted for the garden. nonetheless, i wanted them to get something special.

and.. i guess that's all I can think of to write. ja ne.

ooc footnote; written during the hiatus, so, i just wanted to stick the most recent here. XD;

"Happy Valentines' Day, girls!" Koko chirped, walking into the living room. With what seemed to be a bowl of.. Candy. Way to go, Koko; always thinking of food.

"What is there to be happy about, again? And what exactly is Valentines' Day?" The mech, Katana, droned. She obviously wasn't in a good mood. Nonetheless, this didn't put a damper on Koko's little parade. Ever cheerful, isn't she? Katana thought at her sister.

Seems that way. But it's not a bad thing! Moriko replied, smiling up at Koko.

"Ne," the older woman started, "I didn't explain? Oy, oy. Basically, Valentines' is a day o' happiness and being with your loved ones! I think it is, but whatever." She waved it off. "But, here, take some candy or something, will you? We always gave it out when I was in school, so, you know."

Koko didn't want to bother with any cards, so candy was the next best thing. Besides, the girls already knew how much she cared for them and their 'siblings,' right? .. Speaking of them, where were they? The troublesome bunch.

"Ooh, candy?" Moriko reached out for the bowl, plucking out a couple candy hearts. ".. What do these say?" The writing on them was pretty small.

"Shouldn't matter. Candy's candy, ne? But.. Let me see."

Katana picked up a few of the hearts for herself, glancing at the words on them. "Be Mine? Funny thing to have on a candy."

"They're really popular, though. Especially if you have something to say to someone, or you wanna ask them something, but you can't just say it yourself." Koko nodded.

"It's kinda silly, but what can I say?"

the girls and i were having a nice li'l discussion, y'know? then there came a shout from the kitchen. followed by a "Mom, mom! Felix killed the brownies!" 'course, i think that meant that he ate the special brownies i was trying to make. eh, well, the day's not over yet.

it's pretty much boring, since v-day really isn't a holiday, and there's no gift-exchanging or gift-giving. maybe stuffing your face with chocolate, yeah, but you don't need a holiday to do that.

and, um.. that's it.

- koko.

ooc footnote; was gonna be something else but then i says to myself, i says "screw it, it's v-day!" e__e;

Quest Time!

Katana's engineering skill is needed! It appears that the museum is starting to get really dusty, and no vaccuum will suffice! See if Katana can create something to help clean up the museum. If she can, something good might happen to her!

Oh no! Moriko's garden is starting to wither and die, despite the attention she gives it. Why is it dying, and how can she save it? If Moriko is able to save her garden she might get a big thank you!
quest entry; katana, part one - apr. 6 '05.

Really dusty? I think that is an understatement. Extremely dusty sounds more like it.

That was Katana's first thought as she walked through the museum, analyzing things carefully. Much like a house keeper would, really. Tracing her metallic fingers over the surface of a table or chair, and giving a look of disgust of she saw the result. Really, it wasn't that bad. But Katana saw it as so. She was being a tad critical about this.

Just a tad.

This place could use some work. Nay, not some, she corrected herself. A lot.

But where to start? It wasn't going to be easy. Not at all! She'd have to make plans if she was going to build something to rejuvenate this place. And it would have to be something that wouldn't break anything. That was the thing with museums - they had things that broke easily, and Katana's inventions weren't exactly museum-and-fragile-item friendly. A fair amount of them weren't, at least. Nonetheless, this would be a challenge, and she would like it alot.

"Hmph." Katana sketched out something on a piece of notebook paper - it was all she had - with a sigh. She was thinking of attachments for the device, and later, she'd think about where to put them. The mech was hoping she could put in a miniature feather duster or something. And she meant miniature. Katana only wanted the invention to be so big. Then there was what she wanted it to run on; solar energy, batteries, electricity. It running on electricity might've been difficult. No one likes to drag a long, possibly heavy cord around. And sunlight isn't always around. Light is most of the time, or so she'd surmised, but it would have to be a lot of it.. Batteries would work fine then, right?

She was getting ideas from a few different places. Magazines, books, the 'internet,' stuff in the tool shed & around the house and things the neighbors had outside. It was really all the resources she had, besides going to that 'Aekea' place. And she couldn't, because Koko was too busy doing other stuff, a.k.a, sleeping to take her. Katana should've just taken a wrench to that lazy bag of bones and--

Wait! Would it be safe to have around those dino- things? They were made of bones! And bones broke easily! At least, that was what she'd read and what Koko had told her(not like Katana had to worry about broken bones; more like broken circuitry).

Katana had to take more things into consideration before she started doing any more planning. But, that was okay, she had time. It wasn't like the museum was going to be buried under the dust any time soon..

No! Not my garden, not my precious garden!

Moriko sunk to the ground with a soft 'thunk' in front of her Venus Fly-Trap. It looked sick! As did the rest of her flowers and plants. The edges of their leaves were crinkled and brown and awful looking. She thought to just tear off those parts, but that wouldn't be very nice. And she'd taken such good care of them.

What could've happened to make them this way?

The organic 'thule frowned, deep in thought. She'd watered them regularily, made sure they got enough sunlight - she'd done everything she could think of! And logic states that what she hadn't thought of might've, no must have been what was wrong. It was the only conclusion. As for what it was, Moriko had no idea.

Well, then, she'd just have to go and ask.

"Koko, what's wrong with my garden?" Moriko asked blunty to her caretaker, who was still half-asleep from her earlier nap. She'd gotten one simple answer - "Check the internet."

For one, she didn't know how to use that thing called a computer. Besides that, how would the internet know what was wrong? Futhermore, Katana was using it and wouldn't help her with these search engines and websites.

Her little project wasn't as important as the garden, though!

"Come on, Katana!" She whined pathetically, "Will you please help me? I won't bug you again, I just wanna cure the plants and flowers and things!"

Katana sighed, glancing at her sister before going back to her typing. "Speaking of bugs, ever think that was a problem?" She inquired with her usual drone.

"What do you mean? The Venus Fly-Trap eats bugs, so they shouldn't be a prob.." - she started thinking - ".. lem."

Those plants didn't really move around much, and couldn't get to every single thing. But, still, what kind of bug could kill plants? And maybe it wasn't a bug! It could've been something else that she might not've been able to fix! And then.. Then the flowers would die!

Ooh, how could I let this happen? I should've known, I should've paid more attention! How am I going to fix it?

She would, literally, have to get to the root of the problem.

quest entry; katana, part two - apr. 7 '05.

And we have progress.

Katana smirked, now abandoning the computer for her workplace - also known as the tool shed. Fred and George, her faithful assisstants, were waiting for their orders. But they, being plushies, really couldn't do anything, leaving Katana to do all the work.

It was alright.

The mech liked working on things. And she liked having Fred and George around, especially after the 'traumatizing' event that they'd gone through. Nonetheless, it was time to get to work. She'd get to play with them later, unless they felt like being at her presence at the time. Though, they really didn't have a choice.

Katana would've put them inside the house, but not with Jazz there. Ugh. Hyperactive grey-and-brown ball of fuzz, she thought immediately, but shrugged it off as she put on her 'utility belt.'

After removing her previous plans - already drawn and everything - from one of the various boxes, she got to work again. Editing and altering this and that; what would be on the device, how it would work, what would be it's power source, what size it would be, etc.

As for supplies, she had a few things laying around. Like those buttons from Aunt 'cavi. And those leftover scraps from the prototype lazor gun. Otherwise she might need to get Koko to take her to a store or order the things for her.

Which was really the only thing she was good for.

Nonetheless, her plans were finished. Katana rolled up the sheet of paper with a small smile, tucking them into one of the pouches on her belt. Now all she had to do was gather her supplies! The museum would be proud and shining soon enough.

And that was good, because Katana didn't want to step foot in there until it was.

her utility belt's way better than batman's~

Magical Apprentice

Visitor; apr. 12 '05.

Ecavi headed down the walkway to the front door of the house. It'd be awhile since she was here, and only then it had been for a minute to drop of a bag of buttons for Katana. But this time she hoped to stay a bit longer. Dressed in yellow and carrying a plastic bag, and a small paper bag and stepped up to the door.

Knock, knock..

OOC: That's right, I can copy your little header things XD and .. and.. I guess that wasn't much of a start.. sweatdrop
There was a yell of "I'm coming!" before a barrage of sounds, of which included something breaking, someone falling with a THUD!, a screech and various other chaotic things. Seconds later, Koko opened the door, grinning and trying to forget those events.

"Yo! 'cavi, I wasn't expecting you," she said simply. At the same time, she was trying to fix her shirt and her hair, with little success. "What brings you here?"

ooc; haha. XD i'm glad to be able to RP with you, though, so it's okay~

'cavi winced at the sounds that could be heard through the door. If the door didn't muffle them, then odds were it was painful for whoever was crashing around. When a ruffled Koko came to the door, she couldn't help but smile.

"Hi, Koko!" She replied, "I came to visit. Are you alright?"
