so, one day i was working late at the labs, right? well, i think it might have been my nyquil coffee or my extra sour cough drop lollipops or even my spicy dog soup! anyhow, a bit of my late night snack somehow got into the isolated (yea, good job isolating them, rick) cultures and i guess bad stuff happened. smoke, sparks, and spray. something started moving in the test tubes! they grew too large for the containers and squeezed out of it onto the tacky linoleum floor of the laboratory. i squinted (LOL) and found it hard to make out any real shape, even though the dust had cleared. me and my labmates managed to capture the creatures and run some tests on them.
what we have discovered is:
we don't know what it'll morph into next time. anything from a humanoid to octopus to alien to dragonpeacockhorsechick. really, it's a free-for-all.
it has a lifespan of about 1 year.
it doesn't like to breed. (rick learned that the hard way. RIP, rick's wang. T____T)
not much else is known about them. oh... and, uh... most of the creatures died during our experiments. sssh. not that the humane society covers creatures they don't know anything about, but they'll get on us anyway. D;
so yea. there's only one left.
i've decided to sell this thing because, well. honestly, it's more belligerent than me. none of my labmates want to keep it and it's breaking anything and everything in the lab. so you want this! (:

it is a big commitment to change this thing. not for you, obviously; you don't have to play with it, you don't have to feed it, you don't have to roleplay with it. all it will do is sit in your sig/journal/etc. just the thing for a lazy gaian! this will be a workload for MEEH. it will be uploaded to my webspace and updated once a week or so. it'll morph depending on my mood and music playlist. MUAHAHA.
but note that the pet will only exist for 1 year, then it will die.
because we all know MEAN!creatures have a short lifespan.
on february 15th 2006, the pet will no longer be updated.
so why am i doing this?
i'm not questing for any item. any gaiamonies i make will go towards donating to other people's worthy quests, donating to kind freebie artists, and buying art from other gaians. i don't really need any more items, i'm indecently happy with the labfly getup. (:
so yea. this one-of-a-kind MEAN!thing is for sale. how much, you ask? well, that's up to you. i am running an auction from today (february 15th) until the second full moon (march 25th), because obviously cthulhu says the stars are right.
